GITANO JUNGLE is where our story began: a legendary open-air restaurant and mezcal bar hidden deep in Tulum's lush jungle. Since 2013, it's been a destination for modern Mexican cuisine, mezcal cocktails, and unforgettable nights under the stars.

With tropical pathways, dramatic lighting, an iconic Disco Ball, and our colonial-inspired Jungle Room, the space fuses wild beauty with GITANO's unmistakable bohemian-glam energy.

No-Show and Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made more than one week prior to the reservation date will receive a partial refund. A $25 USD per person penalty will be deducted from the original payment.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the reservation are considered NON-Refundable.

In case of severe weather, rescheduling will be allowed.

The food was flavorful and the ambiance was aesthetically pleasing. I had the beef birria, a piña colada (not on menu), hamachi tostada and a side of potatoes (they weren’t my favorite) so they removed from my bill and I had a hot chocolate brownie that was amazing - great customer service!

Este restaurante es fantástico! La comida muy buena, el ambiente y los tragos increíbles, además de la gran atención de la gerencia. Al termino de tu cena hay un dj en el jardín trasero donde puedes continuar la fiesta y pasarlo bien!

Extremely overpriced. Service terrible. Took 2 hours for food to arrive. Music really loud and you couldn’t talk. Would never come back or recommend it.

So I had booked a table for new years Eve and only got them to refuse to give me a table as they preferred that we book the set menu for 500USD , which wasn’t mentioned when I was booking via open table and I used the link on their website.

Fun vibe for dinner if you are in a party mode - live performances were a rather entertaining extra although music too loud to have any real conversation while dining. Food was good, drinks were expensive and kind of weak for the price.
