GITANO NYC is a dramatic restaurant and mezcal bar set in a 23,000 square feet lush tropical garden in the heart of SoHo with a back drop of the Freedom Tower and downtown NYC skyline.

Table service was great. It was a great fun, environment, vibes. Great host and waiters... Unfortunately, bartender was a little slow to serve. It was not terribly busy and while understandable you have to attend X patrons, they should do a better job at attending whoever arrives first. Other than this down side the experience was pretty stellar!

The door people were incredibly rude and apparently. Rather travel all the way to Tulum again to have the real experience.

This is good for a warm day...not too warm since it’s fully open, but on a nice fall day it’s lovely. Unfortunately we went on a colder day so we were a bit chilly sitting there. The host walks you through the less desirable walkway as opposed through the beautiful bar which would really be a wow factor. The food was good but the menu is limited. Service was slow but very kind.

Wasn’t too busy, easily found a table and we were seated immediately. The pancake was amazing! The ambiance was wonderful, cocktails were good. Nice very chilled summer spot.

Went for a birthday brunch. Wonderful ambiance, food and service. Only disappointment was no dessert menu for brunch.
