The worst experience I’ve ever had dining. Seriously, has never happened to me, EVER. On Cinco de Mayo we had a reservation for two at 7:30pm. We were sat down and there was barely anyone there. About 4 tables of people. We waited for 25 minutes before we got up and left. We were NEVER greeted by any waiter, never offered water, nothing. All the staff talking at the bar, manager sitting at a random table on her laptop. The biggest joke of a place. The place wasn’t even busy and they just completely forgot us. We wasted money on an Uber to get there then had to look for somewhere to eat and wasted more money on another Uber to the restaurant we found to go after. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, JOKE OF A PLACE.

I’ve been at Gitano before, and the experience last night was consistent. For one, even though I ran late and had to modify my reservation, I was able to get that resolved by phone so I appreciate that. My friend and I loved the chorizo and queso Fundo appetizer, and my kisses in the car drink (a mix of mezcal and rum) was a delicious spicy surprise. As far as my main, I stuck with ny cochinita pibil dish which was delicious as always!

Very noisy, extremely overpriced $140 for two small glasses of wine and two mains. We paid by cash and even though gratuity was included we never did get our change. 😡😡

Gitano has become a staple for us when staying on Miami beach. We absolutely love the unique small plates, craft cocktails and ambience. The music is a little loud, but what a gem of a restaurant. It never disappoints.

Service was below average. Music was very loud. 3 out of 4 dishes were very good and one was below expectations. Lots of potential but needs proper management oversight to execute a good dining experience.

Seating outside was the best. That day the music/ DJ was moved from the rooftop to inside and therefore the noise level inside was very high for my taste. Service was very good and the food as well. Unfortunately the rooftop was closed that night but it seems very nice. Inside the hotel it is beautiful and tastefully decorated.

Everything was delicious. Get the guacamole! The team was terrific and the atmosphere and vibe were chill and fun! Definitely go!
