Gitano - Miami

Service is outstanding. Food is excellent with very fresh and thoughtful ingredients. Crowd on weekend is sexy also.

Yummy guacamole! Tapas style apps were delicious. Margaritas were great. Enjoyed the mezcal flight after our pork chop al pastor. Super cute decor for our evening dinner.

Been to Gitano in Tulum (amazing!) and NYC (also great!)
Miami was very disappointing. Service was really mediocre at best.
Food was just ok. Ordered two large guacamole- HUGE difference in portions first to second round. The best part of dinner that we ordered were all the side dishes. They were great. Beets were also amazing. Everything else- both presentation and portion size was nothing to be desired or to rush back to Gitano for.

That was delicious. Not a lot of food, but just so that you can get tastes of different items. Roof top garden is nice if it’s not crowded Staff is very nice and makes you feel welcome. Sit outside!!

Terribly under staffed. Excessive wait time, but food very good and waitstaff courteous.

The service was really bad. They brought us dirty silverwares. The staff was rude and over stressed. The food took 2 hours to arrive. Very disappointed!

Unbelievable food!!! Claire and the chef were amazing and took such good care of us the branzino is literally life changing!

Everything is tasty with thoughtful flavors. Order the guac, even the basics are super flavorful and with a try. Main pollo dish is juicy and perfectly seasoned.

Overall and a terrific time. Decor is very well done. Food was surprisingly good - we were blown away by some
of the entrees. We all enjoyed the cocktails also. Music could be a touch lower. Overall this was a special dinner out on South Beach and we were impressed. This is not a budget option but the restaurant delivers with great food, ambiance and music.

Roof top bartender was excellent! Hostess was very disorganized and bumped our reservation 1hr & 1/2

First, off our server was one of the best I have ever had, Charleston is amazing with his suggestions on drinks, favorite things on the menu and timing. The food was spectacular here, you should not walk but run here. You will not be disappointed!

The food and service were amazing! The restaurant was recommended in a poolside conversation — thank you random strangers for directing us to this gem. We enjoyed Cesar salad, gnocchi, bread, wine but had no room for dessert. Even the restrooms were awesome in this quaint bistro.

9 pm reservation. Seated at 10:30 pm. Food quality was not worth the wait. Chaotic environment.

My initial experience with the hostess was awful. We were two groups of 5. We saw about 5 different options that would have accommodated us (half the people in our group were the size of a child). She couldn’t think outside the box if her life depended on it. I actually feel bad because I think maybe her anorexia was seriously impacting her ability to use her brain. As bad and totally condescending this girl was, the rest of the experience was great. Good was excellent! We tried a number of items to share and everything was great. We loved our server! He was super fun and accommodating.

Pero esta todo el mundo muy pegado porque es muy pequeño No es como el de Tulum
Aunque merece la pena visitarlo
Los platos son muy pequeños para ser platos principales
Y la música muy alta , no se podía charlar cómodamente en la mesa
Aún así era muy cool y chulo

Terrible experience. Waited over 30 min after being seated to even get water. Waiter forgot about us after that too and didnt check up on us ever, worst service. Food average and small portions. 18% mandatory service charge even with awful service. What a joke

The menu is not huge, but everything is very delicious. The drinks are 😍😍. Good music, a bit loud for speaking but that is what we like! Definitely worth to go!

This place has awesome food & drinks. The ambiance is veryyy Miami & it’s in a great location. The service gets backed up because it is always packed, but the waitstaff & environment are a lot of fun, so it balances out.

I think my expectations were just a little too high for this place.
Menu was really more like a poolside food menu than a restaurant one.
It was extremely humid, even the floors were slippery and made it difficult to be comfortable at the table. This was in the main room not the terrace.
