   I’ve been eating at Girl and the Goat since it originally opened in Chicago. I’ve been coming to the LA location for Father’s Day and Mother’s Day brunch for the last 4 years. Today we came for Mother’s Day brunch, and it was our first bad experience. First we were seated outside at the one table in the direct sunlight. We asked to move because it was too hot, and they said no because they were too booked. We said we’d wait until they moved us. Then my wife specially told the server she cannot eat cilantro or onions. Then all the food came with cilantro and onions. They took it back but didn’t get a replacement dish for 30 minutes. It was a disappointing Mother’s Day

   Drinks were great, Food was fine, but too many rules and upcharges made it feel very corporate.

   We were here for my daughter’s birthday and needless to say this is her new favorite restaurant. Food was fabulous and our server was very attentive. Thank you for a lovely experience.
