Had a lovely time. Food was amazing. The salmon poke was a favorite!
Food was amazing. Smaller menu, but something for everyone. The service was personal and top notch. The prices were also reasonable for the food and location. Would recommend it 100%.
Great experience from everyone we encountered and the food was one amazing bite after the othet
Food was excellent!!
The hype around Girl and the Goat is not unbefitting of the experience they provide. Every time I come here my expectations are sky high, and every time they manage to deliver new, complex flavors, presented to you in a timing that makes perfect sense. Nothing it too heavy, nothing is too light - everything is perfectly balanced; even their desserts always perfectly balance the sweetness you’d expect with an amount of savory.
The food was great, and we can’t wait to go back!!
Absolutely great. Every dish we had was outstanding and creative. Not to be missed if you can get in.
Food was awesome as usual. We had all of the greatest hits and they did not disappoint.
The food was well prepared and tasty. We ordered several items. I was taken aback by the halibut. For $28 we received a 2”x2” piece of halibut and some sauce. I’m guessing the pre cooked weight was about 2-3ozs. That’s too little for that price. I commented about it to the server and he said that they had recently raised the price on it.
The food was particularly wonderful, especially the halibut and elotes. We also loved the corn bread. The service was great. We really enjoyed the new outdoor patio. The beautiful flowers and bright orange umbrellas were very festive and the music was lively, but not too loud.
Food was really good, good service, thanks. .
Spectacular food and flavors! Great experience. Every dish was extremely well thought out and had a great combination of flavors.
Excellent food - everything is shared and just the right amount for 4 people to each get a reasonable portion and the ability to go back with some of the bigger dishes.
The short rib was more like pieces of steak instead of the more shredded and falling off the bone idea I have of short rib. It was unfortunately not tender at all. The wood fire grilled broccoli was delicious. The chocolate and strawberry dessert was also good. Our server was lovely. It’s unfortunate the main course was such a let down.
This was our first time there. Food was very creative, both in presentation and in taste. It was fun to try so many new items and combinations. Enjoyed that everything was set up to be shared and we received new individual plates with every item ordered.
Service was outstanding with everything fully explained and everyone we interacted with was professional and friendly.
Only complaint was we were seated indoors right under a speaker so the music was louder than we would have chosen.
But all in a a delightful meal and experience.
Girl it was delicious, just a smaller portion and after the quesa-birrias we had for lunch it wasn’t as captivating as the pig face, halibut and pork shank. Dessert was very good as well, and I would gladly visit again.
Love this restaurant best grilled broccoli ever and pig face everything was delicious highly recommended
We had dinner here for our anniversary. It was a perfect July evening outside: not hot at all. Trevor, our server, was wonderful and did a great job explaining everything on the menu.
The food was AMAZING. I couldn’t pick just one thing as a favorite, but I especially loved the poke bowl and the pig face. Everything was delicious, and the portions are perfect for sharing.
We couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend our anniversary. Thank you to Trevor and the Girl and the Goat!
Never disappoints. Always amazing. Only drawback … very very noisy
We flew all the way from Austin TX to eat at the Iron Chef winner’s restaurant and it was amazing….the pig’s face was so good that we ordered it twice. Finished the nite off with desserts and coffee. Definitely worth the trip!!!
From the moment we walked in, it felt like an experience, not just grabbing a bite to eat somewhere. Our waiters were attentive and personable. The food was divine. We especially loved that our waiter gave great suggestions and listened to what we like. Absolutely magnificent meal!
Very unique menu with lots of tasty options to try with a group. The portion size for each dish is rather small. I know that is part of the experience to have people try many items for a complete meal, but we thought the value for this type of meal is expensive (easily $50-60 a person for food + $15-20 more for a drink). It was a fun restaurant to try and most of the food was enjoyable, but it would not be a restaurant we frequent with any regularity
Great food and service!!!
The food here was excellent as always. We love the ever changing menu and variety. Small plates are excellent for groups and adventurous eaters. The service is always superb as well.
We were thrilled we were able to get a last minute reservation while we had out of town guests. They not only ate numerous things they would normally not consider trying, but they raved and asked if they could order more.
Everything was amazing, the food, the drinks, the service.
Wow highly recommended.
Just got married!
Great as usual
Great food and atmosphere. Awesome drink selection!
Happened to have a res on the 1st night G&G’’s lovely patio opened. It’s built on inner Randolph, has a roof but is open on all sides, and has nice outdoor furniture. So we were happy to sit there. Had the shrimp salad without the pickled veggies (they’re nice about making modifications), 2 orders of the salmon (it is to die for great), the branzino, and the green beans. Loved our food as always. I really hope they bring back the gluten free bread they used to make (best bread ever!) and our only complaint is that sometimes for us there’s too much sauce. We don’t like Mayo at all and both branzino and green beans had aioli all over them which I don’t believe was mentioned on the menu (but I could be wrong??) or we’d have wanted it on the side or removed. We will be back soon!
Great food and service!
Truly amazing experience! The food, the wait staff, the cocktails!
Had a great relaxing meal. Completely enjoyed the experience.
Food and service were fantastic. The Branzino was totally delicious. Very loud ambiance for weekday 9 pm reservation, could barely talk at table. That won't stop us from goning again.
Amazing. Took our kids and it was a memorable experience for the entire family. Can’t stress enough how good this place is.
I've never had a bad experience at Girl & The Goat, this meal was no exception. Two of us ordered five plates total + dessert which was more than enough. Highlights for dinner were the roasted pig face and the green beans (a must order at any Stephanie Izard restaurant). Only complaint is the patio area is under construction and we sat outside, would recommend requesting indoor seating if it's an option for the time being.
Inventive menu that highlights seasonal ingredients
Guaranteed great experience every time. Tried chickpea fritters for first time. Awesome.
Always an incredible experience
The food was creative and interesting with a lot of textures and flavors packed into small plates. The dishes are meant to be shared so make sure you’re going with open-minded and trustworthy company. The music is upbeat and contemporary and the service is friendly. Great modern dining experience.
