Girasole was fantastic. Their service and food were amazing and we had an awesome time.
Very good meal here this weekend. Consistently good!
The food and service were absolutely exceptional. I will definitly visit again on my next visit to Atlantic City
I’ve had just about everything-it’s all good-you can’t go wrong
Fantastic food, cocktails and service. Try the Manhattan Girosole, delicious. The carpaccio funghi and burrata appetizers were perfect. Our pasta and baccala were terrific. Perfectly balance without being over salted. The true rich flavor came through in every dish we had. And dessert was worth every bite.
Hi,
As always the best filet anywhere. Thanks for the great service.
Carl
Always consistent! Best bolognese with the freshest pasta. Will continue to return.
excellent, food delicious , service attentive.
expensive , but worth it.
We eat here occasionally and it’s always great!
Food was not fresh. Very dissatisfied. Will not be going back
This was our first time here and I can’t say enough about the food and service. Can’t wait to come back. Veal Parm with the bone in was outstanding! Doesn’t look like anything from the outside but don’t let that fool you. It’s a hidden gem inside.
This Italian family run restaurant is a hidden gem in AC. Love the decor (Versace inspired theme), Love the Food, Love the Cocktails and the servers are on point!
The food is authentic and delicious. The service is attentive. Highly recommend!
Great food, beverages & service
One of the best hidden gems in AC. If you haven’t experienced this restaurant while visiting AC, make a reservation!
A local gem that can’t be missed. The service, the food, and the interior ambiance is exceptional. The only unfortunate part is if you are facing the window you look out at a motel and a pharmacy. Still the food is worth the lack of view.
Grisole was special to restaurant for many years in the past. How disappointing & embarrassing to bring my longtime friend for her 65th birthday celebration to find it rather less than mediocre. Unfortunately, being a top-notch cook I have expectations.
-The Formaggi (aged Italian cheese board) was excellent.
-The Moscato was barely above cool which is a wine that should be chilled like Champagne or Prosecco.
-Cold bread, without evoo or whipped butter that I warmed over the votive candle. No bread plates which I had to find another waitress to retrieve.
-Overly thickened, hardly brilliant, red wine sauce for a nice filet mignon was a waste of effort.
-The pasta Chitarra sauce was very good. A few excellent clams. The calamari was like chewing on a rubber band-no good. It was a hunt & peck for the crab meat. The first mouth of past was a bit into a huge piece of garlic which I them picked out 3 other large pieces. A 10 minutes wait for grated cheese. I was ready to walk into the kitchen.
-An inattentive waitress & were attended by others including the hostess. Only 12 customers were in restaurant.
I quietly spoke my concerns to the hostess of cooking suggestions letting her know she was lucky that Gordon Ramsey wasn't her tonight eating this meal.
Susie was a superb server and our meals were excellent! I even had a vegan and gluten free option that was delicious!
Always very accommodating. Love this place
Been there four times now. Never disappointed. Highly recommend.
Food was amazing and our waitress was incredibly attentive. Excellent experience.
Love Girasole !We haven't been there for several years. Living to Florida and with the pandemic it’s been a hard for all. So we were back in Jersey and decided to take the trip to AC. We had the first reservation for 5:15. We started off with cocktails which were amazing. I had a spicy margarita which was soooo delicious. Then appetizers... a cheese board with 5 delicious cheeses, nuts, dried fruit , honey and balsamic which was awesome paired with a Pino Noir . My husband had the Braciola,Salsiccia,Polpetta which he raved about. My meal was veal on the bone which red sauce ....out of this world! It’s real Italian food . If your a foodie and want a great meal treat yourself a little and enjoy!
Delicious food. We had the beef carpaccio, polpo, branzino and veal chop parm. We finished ever bite. Service was great too.
Room temperature very chilly. Apparently new chef so a fennel salad we found exceptional last time we were there not as good, in fact not good at all. Pasta under-seasoned. Wine list has good Italian wines but not enough varietals.
The food was very good. Waitress on another table constantly banged into my chair as she walked by. Annoying to say the least. My husband scooted our table back a ways and that sent the message. There was ample room for her to get by without him doing that. Outside of that unnecessary annoyance everything was nice and professional. They didn’t have valet parking.
Food was great! Wait staff wonderful!
Definitely go back again
What a great hidden gem , our second time back and can't wait to go back again. Everyone is so nice and the restaurant is so fancy and clean:)
Amazing food but It it was really cold from the draft!
All in all it was a very good experience. Our only real complains are the temperature, turn the heat up, and that we were sitting in the children’s area. People, please, leave your kids at home on a school night!
The waitress was way off and got wrong dessert
Valentine’s Day
It was a pre-fix menu which they didn’t mention when you make the reservation. The food was ok.
Took my wife here for Valentines day after seeing great food reviews, and it was good, But:
Make it clear on your website if you've decided to only do a pre fixe, and not offer any other selections from your standard menu.
Don't add tables directly at the entrance and in the main pathway of all customers coming in and out of the restaurant. We had to wear jackets the entire dinner, deal with customers waiting to be seated and passing by, and had to keep our feet on the table pedestal to keep it from wobbling.. not too classy for a 70 dollar per person date night. Ambience... Zero. Squeezing more tables into the establishment may have made them more money for the night but not in the long run as it turned a "definitely coming back" to a maybe.
Third time there. Keeps getting better. Food and service was excellent. Going to recommend it to our friends. Looking forward to going back soon
Very good food with nice ambiance. The branzino was excellent.
Delicious!
Very good they are nice people and very accommodating
Old school gourmet Italian restaurant. Had a burrata app with roasted beets, balsamic, etc. It was delicious. For main course I had a hammered out veal chop, breaded and fried, with fresh mozzarella and burrata melted over it. Then a pool of homemade marinara on the side. Essentially gourmet veal parm. Everything was very high quality and expertly prepared. Had asparagus with speck and a truffle cream sauce on the side which was also amazing. Great, friendly service by our waitress.
We have loved this restaurant for a long time. It never disappoints!! My favorite for all the right reasons!
The three of us were warmly greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. We ordered a bottle of wine from a somewhat limited wine list. If I had any criticism it is no one seemed very knowledgeable regarding the wines after I shared our preferences. We couldn’t resist ordering a brick oven pizza (went traditional with the margherita) being made across the dining room to start. It was delicious! Perfect crust, tasty sauce ams the right amount of fresh mozzarella. We then selected two pastas to share as a second course, the pappardelle with mushrooms and the tagliatelle bolognese. Both were excellent and l we soon began to wonder why we orders entrees! But we did and while we were unable to finish the entrees or anything we ordered, for that matter, we had no regrets. Having been there before, we knew we were getting the bronzino. It’s prepared in a sea salt encasement and filleted table side. And it might just be the best we ever had! We also ordered the Ossobuco which was also delicious. Needless to say we didn’t order dessert and we took plenty of food home. We have visited a number of times and have always had a wonderful experience! I highly suggest visiting for a great meal and pleasurable dining experience!
The food wine and service were exceptional We shared the octopus appetizer then followed with probably the best veal chop I had also tried the rigatoni with sausage meatballs and brasol also delicious We took an Italian cheesecake to go Yummy Great evening can’t wait to go back
