White pizza with arugula, san daniele prosciutto, mozzarella
Mediterranean sea bass, orange, avocado, lime, grapefruit, capers
Burrata creamy mozzarella pugliese, heirloom cherry tomato, basil leaf
Visited during restaurant week and they impressed in every way. Menu choices, service and food were outstanding.
The food was excellent had the fried calamari frito misto? It was amazing
The pasta trio was a great way to try some new tastes
The carbonara was divine and the last pasta on menu with kale and brisket sprouts was also wonderful
Restaurant location is near the Tropicana
This was the second time we dined at Girasole in just about a week. Both occasions were superb from our seating, to our our service to the excellently prepared food. The Branzino was perfectly prepared, not a minute over cooked. The carpaccio was soft and delicately sliced and dressed deliciously. The thin crusted appetizer pizza crust was light and there was enough for a light lunch and not a dinner appetizer. The profiteroles were delicious as was the blood orange margarita to start off dinner. I would recommend Girasole to any Atlantic City diner on any night. A perfect dinner!
Had a wonderful meal during Atlantic City Restaurant Week. We will go back. The wait staff was very attentive. Food was excellent. Portions were just right. Great wine selection.
My husband and I were excited that Girasol extended their restaurant week menu since we had to cancel our reservations there due to the beginning of Covid restrictions. It was a delight to finally celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary during restaurant week. The choices were incredible. My husband had the burrata appetizer and I had the carpaccio. Both were memorable. The veal parmigiana was outstanding and my gnocchi were pillows of deliciousness. Our server was attentive and pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We wanted to try a new place and always passed Girasole while walking. Had plans elsewhere but decided to change last minute and was accommodated. When we entered were greeted by two Italian ladies(great start)then seated at a nice table by window where we were given bread and olive oil right away and menu. They also were nice and gave us a restaurant week menu which we ordered from liking the choices. We started with the burrata and pizza which both were fresh and delicious. Then I Had homemade gnocchi and my mom had the veal parm both were perfect. Later we had the profiteroles and panda cotta. It was a great evening with mom and both our server Susie and bus boy who chatted with us made our evening memorable . We will refer and return
Best Italian restaurant in Atlantic city no doubt. The veal chop and the gnocchi top notch
First time there after years of seeing it advertised at AC airport. Great ambiance and attentive service. It was Restaurant Week so we ordered off that menu. The calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked and Caesar salad delicious. Gnocchis melted in your mouth. The side of asparagus was also perfectly cooked and had unique crema topped with bacon on side to dip into. Only negative to us was where we were seated - there were 4 2-top tables side by side, very close which we personally find awkward when having conversation or getting up/down. We were initially asked if we wanted to sit outside or inside and because it was our first time there, we just weren’t aware of that location so next time we’d just ask to be seated elsewhere. Although website says you can valet park at Ocean Club, we did not see valet parking so we used the lot diagonally across the street and it was only $5.00 , very easy. Would definitely go back for a wonderful fine dining experience.
Really great dinner. Food was exceptional.
Very delicious dinner and drinks! Highly recommend the carpaccio! Everything was prepared fresh. Great service! Definitely would return.
Amazing food & service
This was our first visit here. The service was excellent. The whole wait staff were friendly, attentive, and authentic. Our food was outstanding, especially the spinach ravioli. The pan cotta dessert was also very good. One of the best Italian places we’ve ever eaten at. We plan to return.
Food was excellent! Would go back after restaurant week to try other things on the menu.
The food was excellent, but very small portions. The veal parmigiana was good It would have been nice to have a little spaghetti with it Also the first restaurant I’ve ever been in that they charge for coffee refills
Food,waitress,ambience and service was outstanding.
Food was good but service was lacking
Had to ask for black pepper, grated cheese etc.
The Barada and calamari appetizers were delicious. The margarita pizza was big enough to share with everyone. The Bronzino fish was phenomenal!
We went here for restaurant week. All of our appetizers, entrees and desserts were amazing. I LOVED the spinach ricotta ravioli - it was outstanding! Will definitely be back!
The restaurant seems a little outdated, and it felt damp inside. The banquette was sticky, so we asked to move to another seat. One of the dishes advertised for Restaurant Week was not on the paper menu, but the server kindly accommodated me. The food was very good, but $14 for an Irish coffee?? Ridiculous!
There are good Italian restaurants closer to home, I don’t think we will be returning.
Girasole is for people who love Italian food, great service and Italian ambiance. Amazing!
Restaurant week, the food was quite good. Value for the food was really worth it. Happy with our entree. Had to wait about 10-15 minutes even with a reservation. The bus boy was very hard working.
I ordered from the Restaurant Week menu, but the rest of the menu is great, albeit more expensive.
We went on Monday night for AC Restaurant Week and food was delicious. Good portions. The waitress suggested as an accompaniment to chicken, at an extra charge, 1/2 order of Truffle Risotto. Well me tell you, every spoonful was heavenly tasting. I would order again. My husband had Veal Parmigiana & that also was delicious. We both enjoy dining at Girasole.
Food was delicious, service was great! We would recommend to friends and look forward to going back...
Nice menu for Restaurant Week in AC. I felt patrons should have been spaced more, especially larger groups. Otherwise, the food was top quality! Will go back again!
Everything and everyone was amazing. The food was over salted - the chef needs to ease up a bit. Nevertheless, we will be back! Awesome experience and thankful we had a chance to try it for restaurant week.
This restaurant has a wonderful menu. Everything was perfect.
We have been coming to Girasole for several years now because the food is authentic Italian and delicious . The service however is another story . Our last dining experience we waited for over half hour for the waitress to see if we were finished and give the check. We had to flag down another staff member to print our check - it was not busy. I just didn’t see her in the restaurant for at least a half hour. Be warned that the food is excellent but it is not a Fine dining experience.
This is always a good go to restaurant wall in Atlantic City
Great food and service
Great service an outstanding food one of the best places of the summer.
Enjoyed the Carpaccio Classico, Alberino wine and lovely atmosphere
Our favorite restaurant in AC. Their choices of carpaccios are amazing and delicious. The salt encrusted Bronzino is fabulous, even the pizza is outstanding. I would highly recommend to anyone.
Felt like home food was delicious homemade and done perfectly
We ate in Girasole quite a few years ago and decided to visit again. Service was excellent and the food delicious. Definitely a great place to eat
The inside looked very old , plus after we got our food we realized that they had specials that the owner never mentioned to us. The food was pretty good.
Excellent food every time we've been there! The ambiance and service adds to an enjoyable evening.
