Lovely place. Food was outstanding.
Would go again
Lovely food in a comfortable environment. Friendly staff!
We were told when we were served our started that our main meal would be ready in 2 minutes! Once we had finished our starter, our main meal arrived and was cold! My sons burger was fine so we then had our food returned and he ate that alone.
We then had to wait for three meals to be recooked! Very disappointed with customer service as no apology given
Regulars at Giraffe Cheshunt. Staff always friendly and helpful. Food good, brunch is our usual meal
Great service at lunchtime, really fast. The food was exceptional, highly recommend!
my wife ordered eggs well done, not runny. when they arrived they were very runny. They were returned and another order came out. These eggs were also not well done. It wasn't worth sending them back again as we'd almost finished. A very disappointing experience.
Otherwise everything was fine.
I left as the restaurant was obviously short staffed. Nobody came to our table, staff arguing with each other etc etc
I booked a table for Friday at 8.15pm, got there at just gone 8pm only to be told that they had close at 8 and weren’t seating any further tables. Absolutely outrageous for a Friday night considering i’d travelled 30 minutes only to be told they were closed. If you’re going to outsource your booking management, and least make sure you’re all in line.
Very busy, had to ask 3 times for cutlery, also never got given spoons for the tea or offered any sugar.
The service was really good and food was delicious
Sunday afternoon was really quiet.
They close at 6pm due to the lack of foot traffic coming from the big Tesco. Not sure what it's like during the week or on a Saturday.
We were seated very quickly. We had a great host. He looked after us the entire time. Can recommend the chicken tacos, but be very aware. It's spicy and has a real kick. Very tasty. The prawn dish was also very good.
Our mains were good too. My burger was good. Tasty. My husband's steak was well done even though he asked for medium. We told our server and he offered to get it cooked again. We did and the second attempt was spot on. It was perfectly cooked, however his chips were under cooked. Overall we had a very good experience. Made our Sunday afternoon out well worth it.
The happy hour was a very good deal. Bottle of house white £10.00.
We had a very pleasant evening. The food was excellent and exciting. We like the way Giraffe captures flavours from around the World. We visit Giraffe often. Mostly for Morning Coffee which is excellent, great taste, but we also pop in for an evening meal a couple of time a month and we find the service very good indeed.
Very slow, at least 1.5 hours wait for any food to appear..
Unfortunately we were seated but not served (10minutes) but others around us were so we just left as we were forgotten about
Love this restaurant whether for a fun day out with kids or a quiet evening with older family
little bit noisy and trainee chef was confused of steak but we enjoyed ourselves.
It was a treat for my son as I had discount voucher. My son had a good time, he ordered way more than he could eat and took a doggie bag home. We also saw a family from his school. My son has autism, we rarely eat out as he generally struggles at restaurants. He did have a slight meltdown when he needed to go to the toilet. However the waitress was very accommodating and supportive.
Never had the food I ordered said they had no curry’s ordered something the waitress recommended and it was awful. Very dissatisfied as I have previously had breakfast with a friend there and the toast was normal cheap sliced bread but we were not informed of this and only told when we complained so very disappointed on both visits
Lots of menu options. It's stuck between M&S and Tesco, but it doesn't feel that way once you're inside
