Food is so good here. This is old school Italian with fantastic recipe’s and great service. I truly feel that this restaurant is the closest to being in Sicily and my memories of being there with there excellent food and service. Love you guys! Our server was outstanding!

First, we were seated in the back room near the kitchen with a “New” waitress. Poor experience there. My saltimbocca was average and a small portion. My brother got the ribeye and it was very good but very expensive. I hadn’t been there in 20 years and was excited to return but I was a little disappointed.

I had a cowboy ribeye they on special for the night and it was phenomenal. The appetizer and desert were also very good. Giovanni’s is a hidden gem you won’t regret trying it out.

Wow…this place is a must if you come to Detroit. Great atmosphere, their staff are professional and courteous, and the food was absolutely amazing. Each aspect of the dinner was delicious. We will eat there again on our next visit to Detroit!

The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. One of the nicer things about the restaurant was the way the decor doubled as a noise reduction feature. There are drapes hung between some of the tables which not only provide a cozy feeling but keep the noise levels down. We're looking forward to returning to Giovanni's for another great meal and dining experience.

I love this place! The food and service is always top notch. We always try to have Angela as our Server. She is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, & fun. The calamari is the best anywhere. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and the entire experience! Best Italian in the Metro Detroit area!

We had a lovely dinner the night before running the Detroit Free Press Marathon. Chris and Tiffany were our servers and they were exceptional! The food was delicious and the ambiance was pleasant. Will be back!!

Another excellent experience dining with Giovanni's. Our party was welcomed and promptly seated in a fine location in the dining room. Our waiter, Chris, is a consumate professional. Drinks we're timely, then he guided us through all the special menu items. Everyone exclaimed about his or her main course. We had a lively, yet refined, evening. We'll be back soon.

My husband and I celebrated our 2 yr Anniversary and Chris was our waiter, he was very nice and THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! the Calamari was the BEST we ever had! Really anything you decide to get off the menu you will not be disappointed! SO DELICIOUS! Will be going back soon!
