The service was lacking and the meal was just average. The Menu was vague and confusing. Prefix menu portion size was smaller and no one informed us of that. My prawns were undercooked and the risotto was cold, dry and unappealing. We have been here before and were greatly disappointed.

This was the first time we ate at Giovanni's since they expanded. The food was delicious and the service was great! Xavier, our waiter, was terrific! We shared a Cesar salad and pappardelle with short rib ragu for appetizer and I had a special striped bass with shrimp, clams, muscles and spinach for my main course. Loved everything! Looking forward to coming back soon!

Cute little storefront restaurant. Food and service were fine. Food came out in a well spaced fashion. Not too fast and not too slow. Menu is diverse and there are nightly specials. Full service bar. All in all it is another choice for diners to try.

One of my favorite places to go! Guaranteed good homemade meal & Great Service. The specials are amaZing! We had the snapper w/ risotto special last night it was to die for!

When the former manager, Greg, left to move to Colorado, I was very worried that the quality of the service would decline. But that is not the case. The service is crisp and warm (albeit not the same as visiting your dear cousins, as it was under Greg.) The food is delicious and inventive. My husband had a wonderful fig and avocado salad, and the amuse bouche was an incredible scallop in scallop sauce. Hoping the scallops get added to the regular menu! I’m so pleased to see that the special restaurant is being smartly managed and continues to raise the bar for fine dining in Berkeley Heights.

Excellent food and great service. Went for restaurant week and you can’t beat the value and choice of five entrees. Will be back.
