I sat down around 6:30 with a reservation, we ordered appetizers 15 minutes after sitting. We ordered main dishes and appetizers together at the same time. It took 50 minutes from the appetizers to roll out. The waitress then placed our food on the table after waiting an hour. This other waiter quickly tried grabbing our food to bring it to a different table. We had one appetizer to pick on while waiting another 30 for the next ones to roll out. Appetizers were fine… main dishes came out. Tasteless, horrible, cold, and straight up gross. 5 tables came in 40 minutes after us and left before us. The waitress didn’t come over to ask how it was, didn’t apologize, nothing. She just handed over a glass of wine as an apology. We were eating and some bus boy came up to us trying to take our plates away which was another disaster. Whole dinner took about 3 hours. We are members at a beach club around the block and we will be passing on this restaurant and tell all of our friends to pass. Was so good last summer. Went downhill

Hi Morgan, we pride ourselves on excellent service and delicious food that is fresh and made to order. Your three appetizers took about 16 minutes to cook from when they were ordered. Subsequently, your Chicken Ala Gio entree arrived, and the rest of your entrees followed shortly after. Your waitress was attentive and provided quality service, Your check was opened at exactly 6:49 and closed at 8:20pm- not 3 hours as you claim. There were no complaints to your waitress or any of our staff about your meal. Also, the gentleman at your table was happy to receive a glass of wine on us and thanked our waitress. We do not have any previous reservations of you at our restaurant and while we take honest feedback seriously, your review is clearly inaccurate and misrepresents us.

Lovely hostess and great service with a warm welcome. Food was so so. Zucchini fries were good.

Sunday sauce was excellent with the meats displayed perfectly over pasta. Matt made a fabulous 1946 drink!

GIO’s Italian Restaurant is an absolute gem! The food was authentic and delicious with a northern Italian flair, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. What truly made the experience exceptional was the outstanding service from Adam—attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. He made our evening feel special from start to finish. Highly recommend—5 stars all the way! Best, The Foxes
