   Insane experience, one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Staff was incredibly friendly and talented. Would highly recommend.

   Wonderful experience from start to finish. Gifted chef, quality ingredients, creative presentations, warm and inviting hosts. Good food & good fun. Truly one of the highlights of our trip.

   Amazing experience with very talented and skilled chef. The food presentation was artistic and the taste and flavor was equally unique. The chef and his assistant were very kind and attentive and used translation app to communicate with us. We found the entire experience to be one we would not have wanted to miss.

   Small 6 seat bar dining room. Very courteous staff. Chef was rather aloof although it may have been a language barrier. Good presentation, fresh, innovative. Overall very good although some dishes were bland in taste.

   What a find! We were blown away with every aspect of this little 6-seat restaurant tucked away on a quiet street in Kyoto. The food was unbelievable. The sashimi was wonderful, the steak cooked to perfection. and the seasonal specialities were fantastic. The chef was personable and charming. It was truly a memorable evening.

   We love this small and excellent restaurant in Kyoto. After visiting it in December 2022, we came back in early August 2023. Again, the food was excellent, the chef very nice and talkative (if you speak a little Japanese - but he ueses an electronic translator, too). He was very happy, that we came to visit again. The presentation of the food is on a very high level of quality, the aromas subtle and very good. We highly recommend this spot - just 6 seats at the counter, but a lot of interaction with the Chef!

   Amazing Kaiseki Food!!! This little eatery is hard to find but difficult not to enjoy!!! The flavors and artistic culinary creations were fantastic! The chef was funny and charming as were the rest of the staff. Masterful craft here!!! You must try!!!

    Our thanks to the chef and his staff for the wonderful experience . This was without a doubt one of the best meals we have ever had. As a German living in the US and traveling extensively through Europe as well as North and South America I have had many great meals and this one is definitely in the top 3. Well worth the price.
