Ginza Japanese Steak & Sushi Bar
First time. Really good. Went for lunch for my sons birthday. I like sushi. My wife spent 2 years teaching in Japan. We liked it. Would go back again.
Delicious as always!
They lit a candle on my dessert and added a scoop of ice cream on the house. They even offered to sing Happy Birthday!
The food was very fresh and the service was very efficient and friendly. The only negative was that the pieces of sashimi that were served were very small. That was true with several of the sushi pieces as well.
The service and food were absolutely amazing! The staff is so friendly and professional… The sushi was so good;New York quality… Our daughter absolutely loved the chicken teriyaki! This restaurant is a must.
Great local sushi place. Food is amazing and the service is excellent. Will be back again soon.
Surprise find! Very pleasantly surprised on a Friday night visit.
A little loud and just a little slow. Food was fantastic.
I picked this place based on the reviews of others.
My biggest surprise was the stuffed Mushroom appetizer.
I order them where ever I go, and these by far were the best I've ever tasted.
Our night out was so awesome by starting at Ginza! Beautiful lighted bar which was super cool, very polite hostesses brought us to our table with 2 other family members waiting. Very quiet noise level, not busy at 7pm on a Sunday. They are very clean, quick, and the food is beautiful, the sushi is effen beautiful! We ordered a lot (10 different sushi rolls) edamame & goyza apps, Chicken, Lobster, Steak Hibachi dinners and 4 martinis, which were spot on and delicious! I will definitely be coming here again! Thank you!
Thier food is very fresh and well made. The staff is very helpful.
Great food. Great service!
Great server, food took a little bit to come out but it was full in there and Valentine’s Day so to be expected. Super good food and overall had a great time. Great date spot.
Great food and atmosphere. Will definitely eat here again.
Sushi so good it makes you wanna slap your grandma.
AMAZING as usual!!!! This is the best place for sushi!! Actually, everything on the menu is wonderful.
Great place for a ladies lunch out! Food, drinks and service were top notch!
I’ve lived down the street from this place for several months now and my bf and I finally made it here last night. Firstly, I highly recommend making reservations ahead of time because this place gets busy! We were seated by a lovely, very nice hostess and met our waitress 10 minutes later (it was busy and we didn’t mind). The food/drink menus are huge. We ordered hot peach sake, plum wine, the Japanese mule, and the crazy ninja for drinks (all 11/10). For food we had basil steak and two sushi rolls, the King Crab Roll was a 10/10 and the Alligator was an 7.5/10. Service was amazing (sadly I can’t remember our waitresses name), the ambiance was too, and prices were reasonable. We will be returning!
Great Sushi and cocktails! A little pricey, but worth every penny for the quality and ambiance.
Super busy, wait was over an hour to sit than another 45 mins for food. Valentine’s Day was bad thinking I guess. Food was good!
Didn't hold the reservations that I made a week and a half in advance. Line was out the door and treated everyone like they didn't have a reservation.
We went for the first time on Vday and likely our biggest mistake. They use OT but don’t shutdown reservations when they are full so everyone had a reservation and we had to wait 30+ min for a table and 30+ min for food. They prioritize to go meals before eat in customers. I saw people waiting for food at the door get taken care of way faster than us. Likely in the future only use them for take out. The restaurant is not setup to support lots of people waiting and the hostess was the owner and ran around like a mad woman dealing with everything. Food wasn’t bad but wasn’t worth the wait/commotion.
Valentines Day dinner with the wife and daughter
The food was excellent. The service was very good and very attentive. I would like to see more rolls on the menu.
Easily the best Sushi in AACO.
Great service and sushi
This was our second time at Ginza, the first was shortly after it opened and that time we ordered Sushi.
Our mistake was going to a Sushi Bar for Hibachi food. The service was terrible (not the servers). First they brought my wife's food out to her (20 minutes) before I received my food (which was odd we ordered the similar items). When her food was brought out she requested medium rare on the steak and it was beyond well done. When returned it was cooked correctly. My steak was medium rare however the shrimp and chicken were either burned or cooked to the consistency of leather. We will not be back unless it is for Sushi.
Best Sushi place! Fresh fish! The service is excellent !
Wendy the owner is amazing and the sushi chefs are the best! They only have top grade fish!
The sushi was fresh and well made. The entrees were generously portioned and everyone had a good time.
Overall, I was satisfied however it was expensive for food that is not authentic Japanese.
Customer service was good. The restaurant includes a mini sports bar that is probably an attempt to attract a wider customer base but took away from the cultural setting.
Won’t be going back.
This has quickly become my favorite go-to place. The service is awesome and the food it always fresh and prepared perfectly. I have had sushi (very creative and tasty) and several items from the menu - everything was excellent. I would highly recommend them.
Was very disappointed in the experience. The place was swamped and there is no noise baffling so the sound levels were deafening. Our ears were literally ringing by the time we left. My friend went with a hibachi plate and said it was okay, but not good enough to warrant coming back. I tried a bento box meal, and had to send it back - the salmon was beyond fishy tasting, the chicken had a truly unpleasant texture, even the California roll tasted odd. And we were not impressed by the fact that the manager tried to argue with us. We also tried the tempura fried chocolate ice cream. Mine was ok, but my friend’s tasted like the oil used for hers was rancid, and the tempura coating wasn’t cooked all the way through.
The food makes the place! We ordered the Rocky Shrimp for an appetizer and it was outstanding! We ordered a multitude of rolls...loved all of them. Godzilla roll and m-16 were a hit with everyone at the table. Had the striped bass sushi, which was good. I had the Mai Tai and it was delicious! The only down side to the place is the TV’s...I don’t want to see sports at a sushi place. Otherwise I love it!
Everything was very fresh.
Waiting area was very tight
Services was very slow and they brought all of our food out at different times but they ended up giving us 10% off the final bill (without us saying anything)
Definitely the best sushi in Severna Park
Delicious, fresh sushi in Severna Park! The grilled dishes were excellent as well. Friendly and fast service too.
Great food and great service! Great spot for sushi or if you want something else like noodles. Excellent place to go and easy!
We’ve been here twice and the food and drinks have been great. Our server was quick and attentive. This place does it right.
Servic was fantastic. Food was so good. Portions were big. You defiantly get what you paid for. We will be coming back.
