From the moment we walked in the staff couldn't do enough for us From the nice chilled atmosphere, beautifully decorated, venue and nice back ground music made the whole visit lovely Amazing wine selection Very varied menu and the food itself was cooked and presented o perfection Only slight fault for my personal taste was the portions were a bit large for me Normally i can manage 3 courses and coffee but only managed 2 courses I had the lamb cutlets were you got 4 think 3 would of been enough with the sides of veg but as said that's just a personal thing Looking forward to our next visit

Loved everything about my evening at Gino's.... Me and my husband enjoyed a bottle of the red Nero d'avola wine very smooth warm & beautiful to drink .we ordered the full Gino starter of salami & a good selection of cured meats cheese olives breads dips and antipasti all good quality Italian produce we also ordered the calamari which was divine .....the picante pizza was tasty ...we enjoyed the chocolate torte dessert with cherry and crushed pistachios a nice touch ...we had a few cocktails and ended the night with a nice glass of amaro del capo on ice ...the ambience and feel of the restaurant was very chilled and staff were so lovely

Food was lovely. Service was a bit slow. We had theatre tickets so towards the end we let them know. We ordered dessert when we still had 30 minutes before we needed to leave and the dessert didn't come quickly so we had to cancel it. There was no sense of urgency when we said we were running out of time. We had to go and pay our bill at the bar as the waiter never came when we asked for the bill

We always really enjoy a meal at ginos but there has been a big changeover with staff which has changed the experience. Assume it’s just teething trouble but the arancini was cooked as well as usual and we were left waiting a long time for our main course. Hopefully will settle back to usual soon

We had an amazing meal experience in places like The Refuge and Dishoom the nights before so we came here with high expectations. I follow Chef Gino and told my wife we should go here. She hadn’t heard of him before. Service- We were greeted and ushered to a preferred seat by the Host. At the table, the lady wait staff offered us a complimentary bottle of wine as per the booking offer. We ordered a Cortese which was nicely chilled and crisp. Quite nice. Food ordered and a bottle of still water. The water went a miss throughout our meal. We didn’t chase as we used the wine as a substitute. But strangely no one noticed or asked if we wanted water throughout the evening. The wine pour was lazy. I had to ask for a top up. It would have been acceptable if they had left the chiller on the table itself but the it was placed at a distance and I had to scoot in and out to pour myself. Food- Buratta: The best dish of the day. The tomato paste used with the fresh Roma tomatoes really went well with the cheese Piccante Pizza: Ok. The Nduja complimented the toppings. The pizza base wasn’t tasty. I usually judge my pizza based on the dough quality, and trust me I have tried plenty Gamberi Ravioli: Ok. We wanted the spinach ricotta ravioli but it was sold out. The wait staff suggested this. It was ok. But I should have tried the Seafood Risotto which I was thinking about ordering. Tiramisu: This was the biggest let down of the evening. The Amaretto or whatever orgeat liqueur they used was so over powering, it just ruined this for us. My wife and I love a nice Tiramisu. So much so that I have learnt how to make them. Not an expert but I do well to quench any sudden Tiramisu cravings at home. I actually had to ask for the dessert menu again in case I missed reading about the Orgeat. I think the Chef should revisit the Tiramisu recipe. I don’t think it should deviate so much from the traditional. But even if you go for a personal take, it should be balanced.

The restaurant was empty. The pasta was very basic for the price, the seats were covered in stains and my husband had a bad stomach after eating the shellfish.

Staff brilliant, very attentive. Food ok, but not as good as we expected. Lasagna was dry, risotto bland, garlic bread a little burnt. Other 2 dishes were just ok. We were a little disappointed

Really enjoyed our visit to Gino Manchester i had stated on booking we had a birthday to celebrate & this was acknowledged on arrival. All the staff were polite helpful & friendly. All meals were delicious as were the cocktails to finish they brought limoncello shots as a birthday treat. We’ll be back
