Ginger - MGM National Harbor
Excellent food and superior service! Will return again!
Restaurant has a wide variety of Asian cuisine. Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese. Everything I've ordered has been tasty. I real treat.
The food and service are always on point. This was my 3rd visit and I still love it and would recommend it.
The food was good, but the gnats or fruit flies were really bad.
A wonderful meal and service.
Very expensive for the quality and quantity of food provided. I had the lunch special with Vietnamese Spring Rolls as appetizer and the Panang Curry beef as main course. I wish I had the soup rather than the spring rolls. The curry was good. Overall, the food was OK but way overpriced.
The location is excellent, right near the Casino valet parking, and the restaurant validated the valet parking so that did not cost extra. Other than the very high prices, it was pleasant.
I expected a lot more based on reviews I’ve had better take out food than their food and I tried four different dishes from our table. Very disappointing
The food was very good. Unique combinations of traditional asian dishes. Great flavors and options. Great handmade cocktails too. The prices are ridiculously high and most certainly not worth the quality of the food. Yes, I know it was in a casino but that's not a license to rob people blind with outrageously overpriced food. I will not eat there again.
Food and service were great! Cecilia was the best! Just make sure you know you’re paying for the water!!
Overall everything was good but our food was cold by the time it was delivered to our table
Nice restaurant, great food. Just a little loud. Service was excellent
We had a long wait once we ordered. I’d been here once before and enjoyed everything and thought the service was stellar. This time it took forever for everything to come out and we didn’t really order a lot. All the food was pretty good except the fried rice, which was bland. I guess you need to order a specialty fried rice? We just got basic beef. Everything else was very good though. Highly recommend!
This was one of the worst dining experiences my family and I have had in a long time! The food and service were mediocre at best for the price of a restaurant in a high end hotel. This was a Christmas celebration for us which we were extremely excited about but unfortunately we left disappointed. The food was overcooked, over-breaded, over fried and not even hot when served. The server recommended a dish that was horrible and the specialty drink was served with a whole glass filled with ice, leaving little room for the drink itself. We will likely never visit this restaurant again or refer friends or family to it either.
We ate lunch special before the show at the theater. Service was prompt and foods were good.
E lunch special is a very good deal. Beautiful ambience and great service!
Ginger is an excellent place to dine. Food is expensive but they give you enough for 2 meals. They are standing close by for your every beckon and call. Really nice. I can't wait to go back again, in fact we already have recommended it to some of our friends. Excellent service..
It was ok. Server was not very sure of certain menu items
First time eating here, food is good - large sharing plates with a lot of options. But the waitress was just so pushy to try and clear our plates when half of the food was still on the table. Food comes out quickly, weren’t even sitting for 30 min before she was trying to flip the table. Very high anxiety.
Well we ordered the Sea Bass it was ber fishy smelling and tough. My girlfriend took two bites and was asked if she wanted something else. She said yes and ordered the duck. Which was bland and not what you would expect for $45. I ordered the Kung pao chicken and was similarly dissatisfied. The meat was like shoe leather and totally tasteless. By far the worse dining experience I have ever had in dc metro area. The prices made it even worse. Why do people eat here amazes me. Shayne
Great customer service. Speedy food delivery. Great ambiance.
Way too expensive for the quality and portion size.
Our server "Nikki" was fantastic, she provided great recommendations and was very attentive to our needs, We were heading to a concert at the MGM and she responded accordingly. The food, General Tso's Chicken and Spring Rolls, were outstanding. The temperature and taste of the food was spot on. The atmosphere was energetic and buzzing as "most" dining in the restaurant were also going to the same concert and allot of conversations and laughter were being had. Definitely would recommend for a quick bite to eat before before a show that has delicious food and timely and friendly service.
Salty. Very very salty.
Great asian food! We cannot wait to go back. I don’t even want chinese food from anywhere else.
It was my birthday and our server Andy treated us ladies with world class attentive service. We would request him specifically next time. The food was light, flavorful and well plated with sauces and fresh garnishes. Just delightful!
Couldn't get a reservation at website but did through opentable..when we got there there was no wait they weren't even taking reservations.crazniess. Service was good. Food was excellent and good portions price for the location is expected. Lacks ambience it's open basically no walls so kinda food courtish..yes I would visit again.
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."
Food was tasty, service was excellent.
Ginger is an excellent restaurant. They offer a variety of asian cuisines...Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai. All excellent quality. The service was fantastic. The manager offered an off the menu option that included some of the ingredients we were after. Water and tea refilled instantly. Truly a great dining experience.
You're dining in the lobby of the MGM hotel and it's a beautiful lobby and it's a busy space.
As far as value, the food and service are excellent and the prices are commensurate.
Stood at the host stand for 10 minutes (with a reservation set), we had fruit flies flying around us the entire meal, the food was not worth the insane price.
The food was very expensive given the quality of the meals prepared. Shrimp fried riced for $30 plate contained one large noticeable shrimp. BBQ pork plate was no better presented than a $15 plate at a less profile establishment. Other plates order were merely ordinary. Overall flavor of meals was ordinary. Will not recommend any friends visit this establishment. Spent $180 dollars, dinner for four. Very disappointed!
I've eaten at Ginger before and didn't enjoy the experience. The food is way overpriced. If the food was 'tastier', it might be worth it, but I've had better that cost much less. The other annoyance both visits were the nagging and numerous gnats that swarmed our table the entire time we were there. I eat at other restaurants at MGM all the time and none of them have the gnat problem that Ginger does...even those that have patio seating. I eat at Fish regularly and have dined both inside and out. Each time I've dined inside, the doors/windows to the patios have been open and I didn't even see a fly. For the prices charged, the least the management/owners could do is to ensure their diners have a 'gnat-free' dining experience. On a more positive note, my drink (Cucumber something) was great!!
Food and service was really good
Fantastic food and service
Excellent food. I had the Pad Thai with chicken.
Lin our server was a treasure. She made sure we got everything we needed and ordered.
The food was very memorable. My sister and I got the Peking duck. The sauce was so good. The pancakes so think and the duck was flavorful and tender. The scallions and cucumbers a great foil for the duck.
My brother in law had a seafood soup with tofu. He said he had not tasted the broth since he left Taiwan.
The rest of our party had Cantonese duck, spicy beef and kalbi. They loved the food.
We had the lamb lollipops and sweet and sour cucumbers for appetizer. The sesame balls and mango sticky rice for dessert.
The cocktails were fabulous.
I can't wait to go back.
everything about the experience was first rate. the service was knowledgeable, efficient, and pleasant. the food was everything we could have wanted. we were seated in the atrium area, colorful and fun. it was a perfect celebration.
Great service - we got there early so it wasn't busy at all. Food was great and server had good suggestions and was so nice. The restaurant is open to the main atrium so it isn't the best view but it's not terrible. Good-sized family portions and high-quality meats, overall a great experience.
Food was decent, but considering the price, not worth it! Service was very good, but was definitely expecting more, considering the competition in the surrounding area.
