Took my wife out to get away from the daily doldrums. Did not disappoint. A great place to dine with excellent food and friendly service. Glad we went and will go again.
Excellent service and great food! We were celebrating our anniversary. I will definitely be recommending Ginger's.
Menu used to change up and it was great to come and try something new. Would like to see berry egg rolls come back or something different on dessert menu.
Food was overall good. Atmosphere was great. Service was great.
Yummy! Fantastic food.
My favorite restaurant in Anchorage. Delicious food and attentive service.
Every time I travel to Anchorage, I try to stop by Ginger just to order their Panang Beef Curry. It is so delicious, I can still taste it in my mouth! It is not the authentic tasting Panang Curry, but it has more of an American flare to it, which is still delish! The appetizer was cooked to perfection! Ask to see their drink menu. The cocktails we ordered were top notch. The flavor of liquors and fresh ingredients combined were well selected. The whole food experience was a night to remember. I highly recommend Ginger!
Food was great. Waitress disappeared near the end so we had to ask another waiter for the check. I was surprised how few asian dishes they provided. The fried eggrolls were delicious, I would recommend. The beef curry was also delicious but comes in a huge bowl. I would recommend.
Had a great dinner with three friends before we caught a show at the performing arts center. Food and service was fantastic.
Waitress suggestions for food was spot on! Delicious!
It was great
Hadn’t been there in many years. The food was way better than I remember it being in the past. It was absolutely delicious!!! Loved the Pork Egg Roll appetizer too. So good!
Server Joey was great. Food was good for the most part. Menu could’ve been a little deeper and more vegan friendly.
Hands down, the most consistent quality in town
Nice place overall, would go back again!
The service and good we, as usual, outstanding. The home-made Ginger Ale is one of my favorite things about Giner.
Good menu options, but wildly overpriced drinks. Everything was good overall.
Absolutely wonder. Food, drinks and server were good. You can't go wrong with anything you get.
Good food for sure but it's your Spanish coffee that really draws me in! It is worth the trip and good any time of day.
Love this restaurant but the steak was not a hit. Drinks and desserts were great!
Very good food, you get exactly what you pay for!
We didn't eat in the dining room. We ate in the bar. Even though the bar can sometimes be louder, I find it more intimate and easier to converse. In the dining room, the tables are too close together and I can hear every word of the neighboring conversation as I'm sure they can hear ours. That makes me tense and uncomfortable. In the bar, it feels a little more spread out and relaxed. Love the food. Love the drinks.
Ginger is one of my all time favorite Anchorage restaurants! The food is consistently perfect and the service is consistently friendly and polite.
Service was fantastic, the food was delish.
It’s a challenge to find parking spot especially at dinner time on weekend
The Moth" was in town (anchorage) so we came down from Fairbanks. Made a big night out of the event.
I had a great experience at Ginger! My husband and I went for Valentine’s Day. He got the Big Eye Ahi Tuna and be said it was amazing! I got the Mango Teriyaki Tofu and it was also delicious. Could have used more veggies in my option (but that’s coming from someone who eats a lot of veggies!). Their Ginger Infused Mojito was one of the best mojitos I’ve ever had!! I will definitely be back!
It was my wife’s birthday and I had a custom made cake from a bakery that Ginger happily stored in their refrigerator until my wife arrived. She was totally surprised.
Great time, food was delicious, our drinks were fantastic (spicy Chupacabra!)
We absolutely loved our dining experience. Thank you.
Great restaurant and nice ambiance; only major flaw is that the tables are too close together, making it a bit uncomfortable when out on a date.
Ginger is a great restaurant and we have never had a bad meal. It is also very close to the PAC which makes it a good choice for dining before a show. We will be back!
Fantastic as always. The tuna tower and the banana-lemon grass soup were very good, however the steak bites were a little tough though tasty. Will continue to come back.
New menu offers a few new dishes. The Asian inspired favorites are still on the menu & don’t disappoint. When the meal was served the food was almost cold which was disappointing since the flavor was good.
A very nice dinner overall
Ginger never seems to disappoint us! I’ve been going there for my birthday for the past 3 years and every time we want to celebrate a special occasion. I’m a vegetarian and there are always options for me. Both food and service were excellent! I would advise the champagne cocktails if you’re celebrating a special occasion!!
Great date night and special occasion place. Very good value and the sides are what makes the meal. Very creative side dishes such as the jalapeño grits. The chicken skewer appetizer with peanut sauce and onions are a must. We will be back for the Mac and cheese scallops.
I love ginger, it's one of my favorite "special occasion" restaurants in Anchorage. They take Asian dishes and create a unique twist. They also have a happy hour, which is friendlier for those who don't want to spend too much. The prices are a bit high, which is why we only go every so often, but the amount of food and quality is worth the price.
The 2 main entrees (filet mignon & pork) were average at best, but the small plates were much better. The prices for the entrees we got were too high, given the quality and flavor.
Ginger does not disappoint! In the past I had visited Ginger for lunch, appetizers and dinner - not realizing they offer weekend brunch. DELICIOUS! I deviated from my usual brunch fare and ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffles and chicken were perfectly flavored and cooked, and were accompanied by tasty potatoes. My girlfriend loved the crab cake benedict. Though I don't usually have salad for brunch, I couldn't resist the sesame-ginger caesar salad. This is a MUST have with every visit to Ginger.
Also, if you love what's usually referred to as a London Fog Tea Latte - try the Jean Pierre's Tea. It's lightly sweet and perfectly foamed. My girlfriend, who isn't a tea drinker, said she would order on future visits when not partaking in libations. She enjoyed her fresh moscow mule.
Additionally, the atmosphere at Ginger is comfortable, yet classy. Highly recommend. I will definitely not wait so long to return.
Always great food, service and ambiance. Everything is delicious and fresh.
We dine out frequently in Anchorage. Why it took us so long to discover this restaurant is a mystery. The food and beverages were excellent and creative. the ambience was perfect and we could talk to each other. We will go back many times.
