Food is delicious. The plenty of fish sushi was yummy!! Also had the Tom Kha soup which was rich and creamy. Pad Thai had that sweet and tangy flavor that makes for a yummilicious Pad Thai. But my all time favorite was the mango sticky rice. I don’t know what that added flavor is in their sticky rice but I’ve never had it elsewhere and it’s left me craving more!! The ambience is modern and clean and noise level was moderate so we could have a conversation with our friends while enjoying our meal. The waitress could have been a little friendlier, though. She was all business and less customer connection.
I've been a customer since they opened around 2005, then moved away. While visiting, it was nice to know the restaurant still existed, producing delicious food and fun cocktails. The people were great and friendly to our group of friends who haven't seen each other for years and didn't order for at least 30 minutes. The attentive servers knew when to take our order, take plates away, etc... And, of course the food was delicious as always.
I have no idea if they changed ownership, but if it's the same owner from when the business started, I'm glad it's still going. The menu could use a refresher because it looked a bit worn out. Otherwise, everything was fantastic. Thank you, and wishing you continued success.
Gindi Thai is a quiet spot to enjoy a lovely dinner. Their food is fresh, innovative, and beautifully served.
The food was bad, the service slow and it was too noisy to hear anything my client said. Overall I was quite disappointed.
Wonderful happy hour drinks and delicious bites! Delicious food. Comfortable atmosphere. Great if you have kids but nice cozy spot for romantic dinner.
Wonderful! Fresh delicious food every time and friendly fast service!
Both the food and the service was very good
My husband and I came here for Valentine’s day with our 9.5 months old daughter and my mom. We made reservations ahead via opentable with a note that we would need a high chair. When we arrived everything was ready for us. The service was good, but as dinner went on the service team was spread thin—something that was noticeable to us.
There were definitely lot of family, so this was a good choice for a family Valentine’s dinner. The food was superb. Everything that came out was finished, except the pad won sew.
The albacore carpaccio, the crispy calamari, crispy spring roll, crying thai-er, petite green salad were absolutely delicious. We would’ve finished the pad won sew but my daughter was getting too sleepy by the end of dinner.
It took quiet a long time for the dishes (appetizer first) to come out. We finished feeding my 9.5 month old (which took 30-40 mins including the time to entertain her so she would eat) and we’re still waiting for our appetizers.
I was disappointed in the passion fruit iced tea. There was no hint of passion fruit at all! I should know because I have a passion fruit plant and every summer make passion fruit juice. The drink was straight iced tea. Highly disappointing. Next time I’ll stick with water.
Overall, we’ll definitely be back again
My friends and I meet at Gindi Thai a few times a year. We always like our food options (I'm vegan, my friend is vegetarian, and our other friend eats fish) and the service is friendly and good.
Love coming here. Even if there are any issues the staff is always extremely helpful. We will keep coming back!
I has been my go to for business lunches several times. Normally I have enjoyed the food but today’s meals were not up to standard and were made with an over abundance of sugar.
I had the trout dish for the first time. It was presented in a pretty way but not successful as a dish - cold sauce in a separate bowl with the grilled trout on the side...I wanted to enjoy it but it fell flat.
It's was delicious. Just ask them to split the checks at the beginning of meal for more ease at end of the meal paying. She struggled to split between 4 people at the end of the meal.
Loved it. I generally like Thai food but this is exceptional. I had the Pad Thai which was fantastic.
A regular stop in Burbank for the best Thai food with the best staff for years. A rare perfect 10! Thank you, GINDI THAI!
Thai food that is always consistently very good...as well as service and adult beverages!
Great fusion food here! Very authentic, with great presentation. We had the pineapple rice, scallops and the fish. Service was prompt and attentive!
Free parking is available, opposite of the restaurant.
Disappointed with Gindi. The waitstaff were very inattentive and slow. The food was subpar.
Always a solid lunch spot! Great specials as well. Nice clean space. Great service.
Service is great. Friendly staff. Food was fantastic. Spicy Salmon bowl is legit!
Padthai was too sweet , sushi was not fresh . Service was good. Ambience was ok.
We all had very bad stomachache the next day. My husband is very sick the min he walked out of the Reasturant. Not happy
Great food, great ambiance, great experience. I couldn't recommend enough.
Great place for a business dinner meeting. Wonderful menu choices. Attentive staff, but not intrusive.
My boss enjoys going to this restaurant, I think the food is delicious.
Great for meetings too!
First time at this place: was searching for Thai in Burbank and thank God I found this place. It has all the elements of a great restaurant: clean and inviting ambiance, great service and the food is fantastic. Loved it!
First time here (took my mother, daughter and son) and we all had a great meal and time. The service was just right. will come back again.
Loved the food and the setting! Great service as well.
We have our Administrative Professionals Lunch here. I was impressed that the restaurant was ready for us when we arrived. Parking was easy with the Valet, but if you are looking for street parking it was scarce. The Lunch special portions were large and a very good value. Taste of the food was excellent. Due to being busy the services was a bit slow , with drinks and Dessert requiring us to flag a staff member down.
Overall- we plan to return and take advantage of their delivery as well.
I have been a regular at Gindi Thai for a few years now. It is usually over a business meeting at lunch because it is close to work. The food is always very good. It does get busy and noisy so it may not fit every business situation but I have not had anyone go with me that has not enjoyed the place. The price is affordable. The staff is friendly. They have valet parking at $6. Street parking around the restaurant is not super easy to find.
Gindi has been a staple for us for the past 8 years... fresh ingredients and excellent service especially from Michael...
not to miss the Lovely Lipda Roll , steamed sea bass and Cubed Mignon. All amazing !
Went here on the spur of the moment. Was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and tasty. We particularly enjoyed the Panang Curry and the deserts, which were outstanding. best of all was the excellent service.
Hosted my friend's birthday of 12 people here last minute, they were great!!
Gindi Thai is a good restaurant for Thai food! Our family is vegetarian and they accommodate us by making dishes without seafood sauces, chicken, meat, etc. The food tastes very good and the ingredients are healthy. Has the standard Thai dishes and also has a nice modern decor. The place feels a bit cramped but overall it has been a goo experience every time we have been there. Yesterday we were there for our 47th wedding anniversary.
The food is excellent, the wine is fine...I suggest not having them make mixed drinks. That's not a strength for them. For some reason they add soda to mixed drinks we ordered (margaritas and mojito). The place is lovely and low key.
Not my first rodeo--meaning it's a return visit. Fabulous Thai food. Good location. Valet (not Monday nights). Celebrated a big birthday with 7 guests. Can't wait for the next time. Great wait staff too. Very friendly and helpful.
Always a pleasure to eat here.mthe food just keeps getting better and so fresh !
This restaurant is quite special. Probably the best Thai food I have ever eaten. The sauces are layered and flavorful; soups taste truly homemade in the best sense of the word. The staff is courteous, and helpful in decision-making. It is wonderful to have the advantage of an authentic Thai restaurant with options of Sushi as well. And, few asian restaurants offer the full bar that accompanies this restaurant. It is well worth the trip from Hollywood to Burbank to enjoy this wonderful place.
Small and ultra-clean. Terrific food with an extended-choice menu, really friendly and prompt service and attention. Best Thai in the Valley, by far. Will come again soon.
Good food as always! Excellent menu with lots of choices for those that like spicy and those that don't.
This is our favorite neighborhood restaurant and never disappoints. ❤️
