One of the few places that serve after 9:30pm especially helpful given the abundance of performances in the nearby Potrero and Mission districts. neighborhood feel, ample portions and pleasant staff

Very attentive service from the moment we walked in the door. The food was excellent and the menu was plentiful with choices. Highly recommend when you are in the Dogpatch area.

Honestly, I'm super picky, having lived in SF for 26 years and having been exposed to such great food for so long. I had never been to Gilberth's but decided to make a night of it in Dogpatch and try something other than Piccino (which I love, my old standby). Gilberth's was incredible -- from the homemade chips and sauces to the best shishito peppers I've ever had to the delish tacos. The wait staff was charming and attentive and the whole experience just made me super happy!
