Giglio is an Italian restaurant and kitchen. The restaurant specializes on the cuisine of Tuscany, the central region of Italy that has its own unique culinary style. To ensure authenticity, Giglio's ingredients only come into the kitchen one of two ways. Either they are flown in from Italy, or they are hand made by the Giglio kitchen staff each and every day. This includes all of the pastas, soups and sauces. Giglio also carries a large and varied selection of Italian white and red wines along with a few blushes and sparkling wines as well.

    This is a foreigner’s point of view and in Japan , that is important to state . To get the good things first , the food is pretty good though it only had limited choices . The wine is average . The prices are not way off . So as such it is all right to choose the restaurant for private or business dining . The service is awkward . Partly because the servers do not speak English with any level of proficiency . There are too few servers ... I counted them as 1.5 ( the 0.5 is one seemed to be a part server and part assistant chef ) . The servers are inflexible and everything has to happen their way or it does not happen . And as I said it was a little awkward to be asked why was the third member of our three person booking late ? And when the person did arrive , he was served two items at once . And he was late by fifteen minutes . It’s not that there were dinner slots which could be used if we finished earlier . Even by Japanese standards this was impolite to say the least . But let me not dissuade you from choosing the restaurant because I had three not maybe four moments of unpleasant surprises . The food is quite good . The restaurant would however do well to stock a little better wine .

    ビルの地下にあるトスカーナ料理店。料理は美味しく本格派だが、日本のイタリア料理店によくあることだが、いかんせん量が少ない。イタリアと同じくらい出るコースも作ってほしい。

    この地でずいぶん前から営業している控えめな店です。 店員さんの感じも良いですが、感心するほど良いという程ではありません。 席は余裕があり会話をしながら食事を楽しめました。 店内が暗めの照明のためワインリストの小さな文字が読みづらい点は改善してもらいたいです。 また、その暗さで料理が映えないとも感じます全体の暗さは保ちつつテーブルをスポットライトで照らすとより雰囲気が上がると思います。 注文は5,400円のコース、メイン料理は流行の鹿肉と牛肉を選んでワインの赤と白をボトルで入れて2人で3万円弱、ゆったり過ごせる楽しいひと時に支払う代価としては妥当な価格と感じます。

    平日夕方、私の誕生日に主人とお伺いしました。以前にも二人で食事しに来たのですが、その時もお料理は何もかも美味しく カジュアルな雰囲気で気負わずリラックスできました。ランチもお得でいいのですが、とても人気で混んでいてなんとなくゆっくりできず(笑) 今度もまたディナーで利用させていただきたいと思います。

    もちろん美味しかったが、期待したほどのものではなかった。接客がイマイチで、料理の説明もうまくなかった。ワインについて質問したが、重い・軽いくらいしか答えてもらえなかった。
