Beautiful Fall evening overlooking the Statue of Liberty. Excellent service and quite tasty food; appetizers and entrees. Hope to return soon!
Gorgeous panorama with statue of liberty in the distance. Service friendly and efficient. Food fine and prices reasonable for the city.
Loved the venue and the view. Food was excellent too!
Pleasant staff. Quick service. Extensive menu and good food
The staff was very professional and the food was delicious! The setting can’t be beat!
2 of our 5 orders were not correct
Pleasantly surprised. Nice, relaxing embiance. Great staff. Delicious food.
We went for my wife's birthday dinner. Perfect setting - with a beautiful sunset, excellent food and great service!
Very pleasant day to be sitting outdoors. The restaurant was not crowded and I was given a lovely table, even though I was alone. Caesar salad was delicious (as always) and the chicken soup was amazing - nice-sized pieces of chicken, small pasta noodles and some of the freshest and tastiest vegetables I’ve ever had in soup. The service was amazingly efficient and all staff personable. A lovely meal!
Went to Gigino to celebrate two birthdays and it was awesome! Table by the sunset was magical. Staff there was professional and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Absolutely incredible! The food was very good and the ambiance excellent. Will be returning!
Amazing service!!! Million $$ view
Great service, great food. Service has been an issue at many restaurants lately so we were very impressed at how attentive service was ! Thank you for a nice night out
Midway through our dinner our server asked us to move tables accommodate a large party. My friend uses a walker and moves with much effort and pain. I'd called ahead to specifically request a table near the outside edge of seating which they provided. We declined because it takes her several minutes to move and is painful only to have to get up and do that again when we leave. A few minutes later the host or manager came by to ask her to "do him a favor " and move tables again. My friend was clearly uncomfortable and put on the spot. I told him we already declined and not to ask again. I understand any restaurant trying to maximize space but this second request was rude and then we felt rushed out. We still finished our meal but this left a sour note on the evening.
Everything was exceptional from food to ambience to service! A very special place
It was a magical night sitting outdoors with a full moon rising from the Brooklyn Bridge.
Delicious food, kids menu too expensive and very little amount of food. Views are beautiful...
The location and view are spectacular. Watched the sun set over the river and the Statue of Liberty come to life. Service was knowledgeable with solid recommendations and the food was fantastic. We had an unforgettable evening!
I recommend Gigino especially when the weather is warm enough to eat outside. The food is amazing, really Italian !
What a great experience. Great view and food. Look forward to going back again.
If you want a nice outdoor view this is a nice place, food is good service was good. i’d rate it 3 stars
Flying little gnats we’re all over us with outside seating , in our drinks and food. Had no cover our drinks with napkins. Had to move our table to further inside. Waiter was forgetful and actually checked drinks to see if bugs were really in the drinks, inspected them. But did replace them. SMH. Food was excellent.
Excellent service. Excellent food presentation. The taste was superb: Salmon Agrodolce... delicious. Celebrated two birthdays with a magnificent view of the Statue and Ellis Island. Always wonderful to dine outdoors.
I was dining alone— my last night in Manhattan! What a wonderful way to end a stay in my favorite city! Excellent food— I appreciate the ability to make healthy choices. Loved my chocolate dessert— great mix of flavors and again, perfect serving size. Can’t say enough about the super attentive but not obtrusive service and the gorgeous views. I will be back!!
Great table, unbeatable view. Caring and prompt service despite a full crowd of diners
Always a pleasure and last night was no exception. Gigino has long been our go-to place for special occasions and a destination for out of town guests. The view of the Statue of Liberty never fails to astound, plus the food and service are top notch. I always get the special spaghetti padrino, a dish I've never seen anywhere else and adore. So flavorful and unusual. My companions had seafood and raved. Great drinks and delicious salads. We saved room for the tiramisu, which is excellent. Love the lemon tart and chocolate lava cake as well. Highly recommend.
Make sure you have a lot of time, because the service is slow. The food was very good, however you have to wait for it.
9/11 Reunion with close friends who took care of us on the nite of 9/11/2001.
The view, the food, and the service, are all outstanding. This is one of my very favorite restaurants. Sitting outside, you have a wonderful view of the Statue of Liberty and the shoreline. What could be better? I got a glass of wonderful Prosecco along with linguine with white clam sauce which was outstanding and always is at this restaurant. In addition, I also got the eggplant with tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese appetizer to go along with it. It was also phenomenal. And their lattes are one of the best lattes I have ever had. The only thing that it would’ve made it even more perfect is if it could’ve been a bit quieter but no big complaints in that regard.
Excellent food and service and just about the best view in NYC.
Es un lugar ideal
Para ver la apuesta del sol . La comida y la atención son muy buenas
Went for a midweek lunch. Delicious food and helpful, attentive service. A little pricy as it's in a tourist-y area, but considering the quality of the food, I'd say it's not outrageous.
Terrible service. Especially too long waiting time. We had to call the waiter 3 times to order food. The waiter repeated " too busy", but I think they shouldn't have so many guests! I and my wife were looking forward to enjoying dinner but so disappointed.
We were really looking forward to dining here, location was great with stunning views and it had a 1 Michelin star! So all was set for having a great experience ….however that did not happen …service was all except great and the food was clearly not up to a Michelin star level….the linguine vongole was good but all the rest not worth mentioning …desserts were way below average…
Food, Service and Ambience was all great when we ate here. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone and everyone. Only negative was that it was humid so there were a lot of nats flying around so we had to cover our drinks and food when we were not eating or drinking. Pastas and Apps were 9 out of 10's.
Great food and service with wonderful views. A hidden gem, not touristic and wonderful menu.
Fantastic experience. Food was delicious. Service was on point. Beautiful views.
The outdoor tables, especially the ones at the end of the seating are offers great views of the waterway.
Food was pretty good
