    Amazing lunch at Gibsons, great food and very cool ambience, all made even greater by our amazing server Justin. He recommended both the Chicago cut steak as well as the crab cakes, both delicious. Will be back!

    I had a business late lunch and while our server was trying to be attentive, we all felt extremely rushed throughout the whole meal. From the time we placed our order, the appetizers came out in 5 minutes and then when they were still eating that -their main meal came out. A good restaurant would never bring the next course when people are still eating. the whole thing was upsetting.

    The tables were so close together and you are seated on shared tables next other people. You cannot have a private conversation. The pepper crust on the filet was so hot and the filet was dry because of it.

    We had a wonderful evening at Gibsons. Our server Art was fabulous. I read reviews prior to rsvp’ing and noticed timing/delivery of food was a problem. Well, it did happen to us as well but Art sent it back. I noticed it happened to another table that night too. Anyways food was out of this world, even the King Crab was phenomenal. People who love King Crab understand this is difficult to find fresh. Great job Gibsons and Art we will be back!

    The food was wonderful as always. Service was amazing, very welcoming and helpful to a member of a party who uses a wheelchair for mobility. Staff were great about assisting us, had a wonderful time!

    This place is good, and I would probably characterize it as very good, but I just wasn’t blown away by the food. Steak was very good. Sides were ok. Oysters were meh. It’s a really cool and fun atmosphere. The bar is great and very crowded.

    My partner and I were visiting Chicago for the first time and we were told that Gibsons is a MUST! We had an incredible experience to say the least. Our server, Angel was the best! Walked us through the menu and steak cuts plus the aging process and difference between them all. Gibsons is now a must do every time we return to Chicago. This was truly one of the best dining experiences all around for us and can’t wait to be back. Thank you Gibsons team for making our celebration so special!

    The tables were way too on top of each other. While the food and service were great, we won’t be returning. For a $700 dinner the restaurant was way too crowded and the tables literally jam packed, could barely scoot my chair out to get up.

    Filet mignon was excellent and so was the sea bass. The sides are large and can easily be shared. The Brussels side dish was delicious. Service was prompt and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend but not for a quiet, romantic dinner!

    Food was real good, but not worth the cost. For a bill of $300 for 2 adults and 1 child, and only two drinks and no dessert did not meet the value. Service was good!

    I had the most amazing experience at Gibson’s it was very classy and my server was very knowledgeable about the menu and he was a great time. I’m already planning on a trip to come back for the lunch menu. I highly recommended this restaurant and food was 10/10 and the espresso martinis are to die for!!!! This place will NOT disappoint.

    This is the 4th time I have been here in the last few months. I’ve brought two people for their birthday and was taken for mine in July. I’m finding the food inconsistent. Although crab cakes are always good. No anchovies in my Caesar salad and want asked if I wanted any. Usually they are there. I told them it was a birthday for my friend and that was acknowledged but no biirthday dessert until I was paying the bill and said I was disappointed that nothing had been brought out. It was then that the waiter said, “Oh I can do that. “ I shouldn’t have had to ask. Everyone is always nice but I won’t be back for quite sometime. This was mid-day so the restaurant was not super crowded- no excuse there.

    It was my first time, and Carl our waiter made it very memorable. He was knowledgeable about all the different steaks and brought them out for us to see. The martini he suggested was excellent. All of his suggestions were! I got the ribeye and it melted in my mouth. Best steak I’ve ever had.

    Introduced Gibson's to an out of town friend. She was delighted. Love the bread, steak salad, ice cream. Loved the waiter. I would love an elevator to get to the bathroom. I have mobility issues and that's a huge challenge.

    The food is amazing. We absolutely loved the steaks we ordered, However the service was just OK as our waiter seemed very rushed, almost sprinting, back-and-forth to tables. It was kind of nerve-racking! If you’re looking for a restaurant with great food, but a fairly high noise, level and tables that are very close together this is your place!

    We have gone to Gibson's for the past 15yrs+ for special occasions. We started off with their delicious wedge salad and sliders for appetizers. To follow up on our entrees--we love their mashed potatoes in addition to the filet mignon's and the porterhouse steak. Our favorite vegetable is the Brussel sprouts. This time we passed on dessert, yet we love the carrot cake.
