The best seafood in Lancaster County. Oysters and Shrimp cocktail appetizers were excellent. Lobster bisque was exceptional. The Halibut, Tuna and Swordfish were divine. Wine list is fantastic and so are the cocktails. What made the meal perfect was the service. Alexandra was fabulous and so were all the other folks who attended our table.

The food and the service were outstanding. This was my second time there and both experiences were great. Highly recommend. Our server Natalie was super friendly and was just perfect.

We had a lovely time. Daniel was a fantastic server who gave thought and consideration to our total dining experience. There were some food allergies at our table and Daniel really took the time to understand and communicate accomodations. It is always a lovely experience dining at Gibraltar, but tonight really took the figurative cake while serving the most delicious cake.

I hesitate to write this review for one reason only: I do not want anyone to beat me to a seat! DO NOT order off the specials list presented ~ at LEAST not before I get there first. The almond crusted haddock could not be fresher - firm, pure white, deep flavour, and the vegetables expertly prepared and beautifully presented on the plate. The portion was ideal, with room for the key lime cheesecake Oh, just STOP it ! Am I in Key West? Pretty in the plate , smooth and creamy, tart - an ideal sweet bite to finish. I go regularly and every single visit each member of Gibraltar’s service team ( whether they have met me before or not ) make me feel welcomed and appreciated, in the most beautiful and sophistated of ways. The ambience is chic and modern and comfortable , and I can take my cutest shoes out for a spin. The low hum of conversations , clinking glasses and laughter make for a lively, upbeat atmosphere without the volume being intrusive or loud. A great setting for either a romantic dinner or an enriching evening of connection with friends. Gibraltar has heart… teeming with passion for excellent cuisine , served by a skilled and invested team of professionals. Like I said , I would prefer to keep this special place a secret but a dining experience this rewarding? It is like their warm, soft “ crusty bread” served with those sincere “ so glad you are here” smiles - meant to be shared.

Where do I start, this place should not be calling themselves fine dining. Worst food ever, we sat at the bar and the girl at the bar put the place mats down which was dirty, first sign we should have left but didn’t. Bar was not that clean and drinks were subpar, the bartender uses her hand to grab the beans for the expresso martinis. Our appetizers came and my crab cake was burnt and my wife’s salad was so desperate looking. I order the swordfish meal and my wife order the chicken. My swordfish had no flavor or salt, everything was so blend, my wife chicken was a broiled piece of chicken with no flavor and tasted disgusting. Whoever is the cook (not a chef) at that place should go back to cooking school and learn how to cook. Food you are paying for from a place classified as fine dining should not be like that, the cook doesn’t know anything about tasting before sending the food out. This place needs to be downgraded to a Diner and stop overcharging for mediocre foods and drinks. This place is not worth it, but if you are looking for mediocre, unflavored, overpriced foods and drinks that is your place. I wish I could give it half a start. Never again, I wouldn’t feed this food to my dog. This is a honest review and this place ought to be ashamed.
