The chef never disappoints. My King Salmon was done to perfection and the vegetables that accompanied it were so good! My husband had the Lobster Fettuccine and was very happy. We've always had great service whether we go for lunch or dinner.
We love our waiter, Graham, who we have had several times. He is such a professional and makes a night out without the kids something more than just a meal. It was a special experience. We are neighborhood regulars and have never had a bad experience at Gibraltar's new location.
Wonderful food and service! The drinks are exceptional as well!
Easy to find, great food, great service. We weren't sure what to expect but it turned out to be worth the drive from Middletown.
Food and service are always outstanding. We dine here at least once a month and recommend Gibraltar for a fine food and wine.
New Years eve
Food was amazing. Salmon cooked perfectly. And as always martinis were great! Server was Maddie. Love her!
Great Experience, service Food.
Great food great service
We come here often and this was probably our worst visit in awhile. The food took an extraordinarily long time to come out. If the food had been equally extraordinary it would be okay, but the scallops were not fresh and had a very distinct ammonia taste. Told the server and nothing happened. The potatoes with my dinner were quite flaccid and only mildly appealing. Would never order this entree again! I'll go back to my standard, the crab cakes and little gem salad. Husband said his chicken was good, but nothing to write home about.
We always enjoy eating here, not sure why this was such an off night??
We were there for Christmas Eve dinner. The ambience was very warm and inviting and the staff was very attentive. The food was excellent.
Go there!!! This place is great the food was wonderful.
We were promptly greeted and seated and presented with a very tantalizing menu. The Sea Bass Special was amazing as were the fish chowder appy and the lobster fettuccine main.
The food was hot and the sauces were light and delicious.
Specially made peppermint (it’s Christmas !!) dessert was amazing.
We’ll be back.....soon !
They truly made Christmas Eve a wonderful experience for me and my family.
The food was so good that I decided to have my lunch group try Gibraltar for our next outing.
Would gladly return. Good food, great drinks. Service was great as well.
This restaurant is a real gem. The food is excellent and the presentation is beautiful. I highly recommend Gibraltar.
Very rowdy table behind us using foul language.
Dinner in the evening was lovely. A champagne bottle was sitting at the table waiting for our arrival. It would’ve been nicer if the waiter or maître d’ had brought it over to us and told us it was a gift. We saw the bottle and had no idea why it was there. Also the wait between appetizers and the waiter taking our order for dinner was a little long he should’ve come a few minutes sooner. However, we had a great evening and will come again.
There for lunch. Service seemed a bit “off”. We ordered soups and a main course, and they were served bot at the same time - together. when asked, the server said “that is how we do it”. Flavors were good.
Last minute reservation for anniversary. Our server was excellent in terms of manner and being informative and responsive without being intrusive. We were seating near a door and it was somewhat drafty. My spouse order drinks for us and attempted to order a glass of sparkling wine but we ende up with a half bottle champagne instead. Otherwise, the suggestions and service were exceptional.
Our dishes, the halibut special and the lobster fettuccini were excellent and very good respectively, my spouse was thrilled with her beet salad. The bread served was mediocre although the butter was tasty. Because of the occasion we received a lite dessert with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate drizzle.
We will definitely return; this far, best seafood we have experienced in the area.
Love the sophisticated vibe. Nice bar and the food is very good, very fresh! Will be back!
Was not greeted to kindly when we walked in, first time there recommended by 2 couples who visit frequently. We heard both the bar and the dining were great to eat at and was sort of just stared at while we decided, just not so nice of first impression.
Our server was super nice and helpful and not so “stuffy” of a person. Although we saw her get corrected rudely, I would say by the host/owner. But she was great, nice, gave recommendations and food was amazing.
The food was excellent! the menu has a great selection of mostly seafood. The service was great, and a nice bar selection.
We went to Gibraltar last-minute after a failed experience at another upscale Lancaster restaurant (had reservations, was seated, left after waiting 40 minutes without even our drink order being taken) - And Gibraltar saved my daughter’s birthday night! Graham, our waiter, was impeccable, the food was amazing (had the Filet, which was done perfectly) and the ambiance was great (we sat in the small, private wine room). Again, can’t thank Gibraltar enough for being just all-around amazing when we needed it the most!
I’ve had better branzino but my wife’s halibut and the mushroom appetizer was excellent. Always a good dining experience.
I took my wife to Gibraltar Restaurant for her birthday. The ambiance is relaxing with the big band jazz in the background. The food was outstanding. The service is very professional, friendly and on-point. The manager made it s point to check on us. The price was very reasonable. We have not often found a restaurant where you have a 5-star experience every time you are there, but that has been our experience to date. We plan on making this our place for nights out.

The food is always delicious and creative in a well balanced way. I love the glassware and the drink selection . Great bar atmosphere. One of my favorite Lancaster restaurants.
Make sure in colder months you bring a sweater or a wrap. With the high ceilings and windows it can feel chilly but this would never deter me from coming back again and again. I highly recommend dinner or drinks at Gibraltar.
First class service and food makes this a good option for seafood.
We always enjoy the food and the services is good. However the sound level in this facility seems to be distracting at times and the cost makes it a place that is ok occasionally but will never be a regular stop.
The food was just ok. Some items could use more flavor. Wine selection is mediocre. Overpriced for what is available.
Food was phenomenal! So was service! Highly recommend.
My first visit to the new Gibralters. While I did miss their former Open Anbiance they’d done best for space keeping familiar maps & colors on back wall! Our Waitress’s attention made evening even better and we enjoyed both our meals- friend loved her Bronzino fish and I had perfect meal of crab cakes appetizer with their outstanding side of Brussels sprouts with bacon. The bar was still active when we left, thinking next time we’d eat there! And there WILL be Next Times!!
This establishment consistently delivers an outstanding dining experience. The staff is extremely professional & attentive. The food is delicious and so delectably remarkable...we honestly talk about it for days later! We know we can never go wrong ordering from the main menu, but the specials are also so enticing. It’s a win-win!
Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Food was spectacular. Can’t wait to go back again!
Very nice brunch. Excellent service and atmosphere!
Makela was wonderful!!! The food was spectacluar and the owner was very warm and welcoming.
Had Thanksgiving dinner. Sides were excellent but Turkey was dry and tasteless. Server was excellent.
Service and decor were great but food was mediocre and not very flavorful.
