   The most awkward experience!!! First of all this review may be visible on OpenTable, but Giannino 1899 will NEVER EVER see it since they do not take reservations thru your App!!! We had another couple next to us who faced the same inconvenience of having a confirmed booking form you, that the restaurant had literally no clue of, neither do they even know what OpenTable is!!! Amazing!! That being said, we had been in the restaurant several times pre-Covid, and whilst the food remains decent at a slightly disaligned value for money through, it seems that the owner has been hit by a post-Covid trauma, and fell in love with a young DJ who literally transformed the restaurant into a war zone, noise-level wise, and despite many many repeated requests to lower the volume, the young lady would not bother and we left devastated and deaf, promising ourselves to never ever come back, whatever the food experience may have been... It is hard to believe that such poor service and poor common sense can even exist in a post-Covid world😏... Shameful!

   The service was bad, the restaurant was almost empty but the staff acted rushed off their feet. We waited 20 minutes before someone served us. For the price it was not acceptable

   The food was horrible at the restaurant. We went to the restaurant based on reviews we had read on travel sites and bloggers - but in retrospect those reviews were very dated. This might have been a good restaurant at one point, but every dish we ordered was very disappointing. We ordered the Ossobucco and the Lamb Chop as mains and left more than half on our plates. The staff didn't bother to ask why we had left our food either.

   Outstanding food and service in an extremely elegant restaurant. The servers were warm, knowledgeable and very responsive to every need. The food was beautifully prepared with excellent choices and enticing flavors. Try the blue lobster, served with Newberg sauce, which was fantastic. Highly recommended.

    Fantastic meal and brilliant service from the team. Restaurant seemed quieter than usual (understandable during Covid), but that didn't stop the waiters from providing us with excellent service. Food was brilliant, the recommended wine was fantastic, and we couldn't have been spoilt anymore for our anniversary. Will definitely be visiting the London branch soon!

    Incredible restaurant. The staff are polite and friendly and the decor inside is bold and beautiful oak wood with Italian touches. They even brought out a huge cake for my wife’s birthday. Can’t thank the restaurant enough it was a night to remember.

    All the service was fabulous. Def a fine dinning. But the food was not very much amazing compared to price. And if you share the plate food you have to pay extra 10euros for each. So we paid literally 30 euros for just sharing a plate. But the ambience and other things were not bad. For the price aspect, just go to Michelin restaurant.

    This was our last night in Milan and it was well spent and this beautiful restaurant with a history as rich as the food. Impeccable service and a reason to go back to Milan. We loved every moment.

    I ordered the Dover Sole and a salad. Everything tasted mediocre. The green salad was not on the menu and it was enough to feed a family of four. It also cost 20 euros. The cappuccino (yes I know in Italy it isn’t done after noon) was mediocre which is near impossible to find in Italy. I would not recommend this place to anyone. On the up side, the service and ambience was exceptional.

    They have a very good sommelier. Don't just order a bottle blindly, please talk to him. He has a vast knowledge of the wines on the list and will help make a great decision for the food you selected.

    Simply amazing. We were traveling and they kindly held our bags in the coat room. The service and food were over the top. I have never had a risotto as good as the saffron risotto here.
