The place and sevice was very nice. As the place fillednoise level was terrible. Couldn’t hear someone across table.
As for the food. Way way to little. On the plate was a 6oz filet nothing else. Meals should come with a veg not extra for the price of a filet $32. Or potatoes. Or choice of salad ???
One plate was a rib eye for$54. NOTHiNG with that for $54????he said good but way over priced.
My salmon was normal priced but again nothing with it. Other Rest offer options
U could go to another very nice rest and get a salad and potatoes with the price of a steak

We had a table for four scheduled on OpenTable and added one more. The restaurant was very accommodating. We were a little early and were able to go directly to our table. Our waiter was attentive. The food was good. It was very busy for the middle of the week and maybe a little loud. More expensive than I had anticipated. Will definitely go back.

Sitting in the bar area is very noisy. Can’t hear the person next to you. But the brick oven pizza is very good. Eating outside is in warmer weather is a must.

Another great experience at Giancarlo's. We went to celebrate my daughter's college decision, and our waitress helped to make it even more special with a special celebratory cake. IMHO, this is one of the best restaurants in WNY.
Our dinner was a treat for my husband's birthday. Atmosphere and service - great! But, the meal was disappointing. We were so looking forward to the wagyu beef (filet mignon) - it arrived under cooked and with lack of flavor. Also, the creamed corn side dish was very weak. Sorry to have to give a bad review on the food but our dinner was very pricey for what we were served.
The food was good but the service was bad. We had to wait for some time to receive refills on water, clearing plates and the check. The other waiters kept almost running into our table, due to the tight dining room space.
For the price of the food, the atmosphere and service was not worth it. However, for drinks and appetizer at the bar, this might be a good choice for you.

The foods are excellent, with incredible service. And I like this place with convenient traffic. The environment inside the restaurant is casual and comfortable, which is very good because it would be really nervous to have dinner in a serious-looking restaurant.
I prefer the Chef's Preparations on the menu, while the Family Style Sides seem to be too big for individuals. One thing I'm not satisfied is the coffee. I ordered a cup of "latte", which is no where near latte. I know this is not a café or coffee shop, but it is somehow disappointed.
Service was superb as usual, but I was a little underwhelmed this time. Anything friend was unusually salty and my steak was overcooked the first time it came out. The waiter did right by us on many fronts for this, but I was nonetheless disappointed.

We had a great time, our chicken parm was a bit over done, and we had reserved a spot in the main dining room but were seated in the bar area. Didn't affect our entire experience, but everything else was wonderful!
Our reservation was for 7:45, we sat at 8:05. Not horrible. Service was great, the staff is very attentive, and the food was very good. I do question the prices, and serving everything ala carte is not my thing. My thought is, if I’m buying a $40 steak, the risotto side shouldn’t cost me an additional $9. I guess to each their own, but it’ll be a long time before we do ‘date night’ there again
Outstanding menu! The Ahi Tuna appetiser is a wonderful starter for two. Good size portion with an interesting sweet teriyaki sauce with a side of wasabi. MIxed together the sauce becomes that quintessential sweet and spicy treat. Only complaint is the seating and noise level. I felt as if we were on display in the dinning room rather than on a cozy date. It was extremely load as well.
Service was slow also they changed their menu and online it said different so when I asked the waitress to see if the cook could make it for me and it was like I asked her to pull out her tooth she just wasn’t overly friendly did her job likebit was just a job
the cooked did make it but it was over cooked I feel like maybe it was done on purpose!! Their off my list no need to go back !!

a fun night with good food. ordered the chicken wings and a pizza for appetizers. maybe the best wings ever. the pizza was also good. had salad that was beautifully presented. drinks were a good pour. chicken parm was a disappointment. great waiter. the menu better serves meat eaters and adventurous eaters. would return
Made a spur of the moment reservation when I learned that Nicholas Cee was the current head chef. I am not a foodie by nature. I am a picky eater by nature. But I have had the pleasure of his food many times over the years--enough to know that I don't bother questioning what's in it (normally unthinkable for me), I jut eat it and know it will be wonderful. His touch is clear on this menu with some slightly unconventional pairings that would normally make me uncomfortable and, sure enough, the meal was fantastic. We had a small plate of the Sizzling Steak as an appetizer, which made my husband sorry that he didn't order a steak for dinner. I had the blackened salmon and my husband had the Mama's Meatball. While I could rave enough about my meal, my husband's wasn't on the same level. However, this might be because we are regulars at Mulberry Ristorante, which cannot be surpassed for that dish. Our cocktails were delicious and our server was friendly and attentive. We finished our meal off with coffees. While my latte was both generous and delicious, I do not feel that it merited the $7 price tag. It's certainly not an everyday kind of dining experience, but isn't that the whole point sometimes?
Four guys all in town for dinner. Very good steaks and fish. Everyone was very happy with the meal and the specialty side dishes. Definitely will come back.

The bartender could use a little more tasting/training to get their Cosmos more palatable.
Dining experience was Excellent! However the only issue is that even with a reservation and arriving early we waited 25 minutes past our reservation time. I watched others come in and get seated right away even after my scheduled reservation time. I am sure people were seated ahead of us that were not supposed to be.
Expensive but the food and the service were very good.

We had the fillet , sizzling steak , steak pizza and a fillet wrapped in prosciutto.
Also the Casdada cake is the best!
Went there to celebrate an anniversary. Excellent food - I only give high marks like this to places that can cook better then myself. Dinner started with a bread service that had butter and a delicious red pepper sauce. That was followed by bacon-wrapped scallops - bacon was crisp, and scallops melted in your mouth. My wife had the lobster Mac and cheese. I had the 22oz ribeye with risotto and Brussel sprouts. Risotto was fabulous and my steak was delicious. We split a tiramisu for dessert. Very memorable meal. Service was shared between 2 and was excellent. Look forward to going back again.
