GIA MIA - St. Charles

We always like food. Unfortunately this time we have to wait for 40 minutes before we get our table although we had a reservation. Everything else was great as usual. Thanks

Food was spectacular, waitress was fantastic, didn’t like that we had to wait 20 minutes after our reservation time.

Day date with the husband. Enjoyed an excellent lunch! The service was excellent and as always the food was delicious! Its our favorite place for a reason!

I specify made reservations for an outdoor igloo but when I arrived they told me they took the igloos down and weren’t seating outside due to the rain. The igloo was the only reason I booked at this restaurant and due to covid did not want to eat inside a restaurant but because they never notified me had no where else to eat and because it was cold and raining eating inside was our only option. Food was fine, steak undercooked and pricey. Nothing special. I wouldn’t come here again.

Service seemed a little slow and our waitress forgot to order our appetizer so it came last. But, the food was excellent and we will be back to sample more of the menu.

We sat outside which was quite pleasant. Food was excellent.

Made reservations on OpenTable for 7:15 seating and didn’t get seated until 8:00. Only reason we waited was because the food is AMAZING. Management did comp our first round of drinks after we asked for beverages while we stood waiting for our table along with dessert after we raved about our meal. Will dine here again however we will consider going to the Geneva location.

Food was very good. Very loud-energetic! People just happy to be out! We felt a little rushed by our server and plates weren’t cleared away in a timely manner-but a fun night and I’d definitely go back. Always enjoyable.

Gia Mia has never disappointed and continues - especially during these difficult times. They have kept the same, excellent service and great food and they will always be on the top of my list when I have friends visiting. Thank you - you are great.

Food was outstanding! Service lacked at the beginning but Grace did an outstanding job once she was appointed our table. We ate outside in a “bubble”. It had a hole in it so the cold air was coming in. Overall a great experience!

I didn't meet the manager but I met some super tasty creations by their chefs(who I never met too). Was leaving Batavia and we stopped there on our way home a hour north. So glad we stopped!
We're going back again because now I want to try all their appetizers and pizzas. The meatball app and cauliflower app were 5 star all around. Gia Mia reminds me of why Im so grateful to still have my sense of taste. Excellent staff too. I have nothing to rage about. Thanks for having us over for dinner.

I’m so disappointed since Gia Mia is my favorite restaurant in Geneva.
I took my friends to st Charles location for dinner and was disappointed.
Slow service, lemon drop was not even close to where it’s supposed to be.
My favorite drink at Gia Mia the Old fashion was just NOT good.

Understand why we had to wait for our bubble covered table...we were enjoying our experience so much they had to coax us to leave for the next party. Very attentive and apologetic about the wait but it was worth it. YUM

Every time we have dinner there we are always pleased thank you as everything was awesome

We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday - every staff member went out of their way to wish her a happy birthday. Added bonus - food was delicious!

Everything was great! Felt safe inside dining but they have really cool igloos if you prefer (just reserve early).

This is the second time we have gone there and have had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. If they can’t honor the times that they allow you to reserve then they should put a time time on how long your stay can be.

40 minute wait for table beyond reservation time.

Food was delicious as always.

Great as always

They have no time limit on igloos. Why not? We waited over 45 minutes for our reservation. We selected a place with igloos for covid concerns. Our choices while we waited were to sit at the bar or sit in our car. We have eaten at 5 other restaurants with igloos...first with no limits. Further, they did not honor our punchcard that had no expiration date. Server said they'd check, never returned. Disappointed, have had good experiences there but this was not.

We had a lovely dinner after a walk along the Fox River. We ordered a pizza and a pasta dish, both to share. I was amazed at how quickly they arrived. Our server was excellent-gave us samples of a couple wines, made excellent menu suggestions, was very personable, and attentive. We will be back soon!
