Gia is a 19th century modern restaurant, featuring a variety of unique spaces. The main dining room is a vibrant space with high top tables cozied between the Drinking bar and Chef’s bar. The Library and Parlor are tucked away in the back corners of the restaurant. The Parlor is our largest space. It is perfect for events up to 40 guests. The Lounge is a unique space with comfortable seating and a private bar can host a private dinner for 20.
We offer our guests a unique menu of small plates that are sautéed or baked in a wood fire oven. We call our dishes "small plates" because we want our guests to try multiple items and share them. We feature a Staples Menu of our “favorites” and our Chef’s Menu with seasonal flavors. We offer a wide variety of libations including an array of wines, craft beers and interpretations of vintage and handcrafted cocktails.
We look forward to seeing you, Ciao!

Gia-Drink.Eat.Listen. Ratings and Reviews
Wow. Gia used to be good. None of the four of us thought anything we ate was very good. Brussels Sprouts were the undercooked and underseasoned. The pork and rice were completely tasteless. The cauliflower too was just bland and sad. Even the darn salad dressing was lifeless. My whiskey sour was too sweet and lacked bourbon kick. The martinis were watered down. So we won’t be back. Too expensive for literally no satisfaction.
We had a wonderful time at Gia’s. The food was very good and our server was very knowledgeable and helpful The manager, bartender, and other servers were also very attentive. We were particularly happy at the pace at which the tapas were served, not to long and not all at one. I highly recommend Gia’s.
Another enjoyable evening at Gia. I have dined here on several occasions and have always liked the small plates and creative cocktails. Our server Valerie was very attentive and friendly. The flat bread is my favorite and we had the prosciutto and arugala schiacciata. We had the white bean crostini which to me was very non descript. W also had the thai style crab cakes which were good but I don't recall any Thai seasoning and there was several pieces of shell in them. That order came with 3 half dollar sized cakes. The cocktails I had were the Deconstructed Pina Colada (a shot of rum is poured over top of a frozen ice cube of 'pina colada, including the cherry'. This drink was good and a great idea, but it takes awhile for the cube to melt. I also had the Femme Fatale, which was a litttle bit too tart for my liking. The chocolate martini was great! Will definitely return!
Wonderfully creative, gourmet, small plates. The best charcuterie board in the Triad. Friendly, knowledgeable staff really helped us pair our drink choices with our meal without pretense or attitude. We love this place and are looking forward to visiting again soon!
Great for a Friday night date. Loved the atmosphere; eclectic, a little quirky, and filled with various private nooks for intimate conversation. Every dish we had was outstanding. Great flavors, although I'd like to see bigger portion sizes (but hey, it's a tapas place). My beer was stellar---good drink menu.
From sit down to food, 45 min. Main protein position never showed. Bar staff didn't check in to see if things were ok. Rushed when realized a mistake happened. Manager was aware, but never came over to speak to it, yet had to approve discounts on meal. Will never understand restaurants not having properly trained people at front of house.
Service was excellent. Food very unusual as a rule. Menu quite creative but needed more seasoning. We sat in "library" which was a little removed from the noise and loud music. A few things were quite good but most items just too bland for us. We ordered 8 different plates for two. They were mostly generous for tapas style. Not a bad experience but not really our style. We probably wouldn't go again.
We have been to GIA numerous times with a great experience. On Sunday, we were celebrating our anniversary and picked GIA as our dinner option. As we were seated our drink order was taken. After the server came back with drinks he was no where to be found for 20 minutes. My husband had to go to the bar to place our food order. Waiter never went out of his wait to make sure we had what we needed. We were so disappointed especially since it was our anniversary.
I love that you can come to Gia's and try a lot of difference small plates and still feel like you've eaten enough and aren't starving when you leave. Too often at a tapas-style restaurant you just don't get enough food. Bonus when the food is seasons and tasty. The Truffle fries are a must and the grilled cauliflower is fantastic. The Ahi Tuna bites were very good and the lamb stole the show. Their mixologist is on point and our drinks were excellent. I also find that their wait staff is very knowledgeable about their wine list which I appreciate. To be honest, the only thing that didn't live up to my expectations was the tiramisu. It was actually pretty dry. Other than that, an outstanding brunch!
Have always been a regular. But very disappointed last couple of times.
Portions smaller as prices continue to rise. I always order the Salmon. This
past time , I kid you not, the Salmon was no bigger than the PRONGS of my fork.
I was able to watch the bartenders mix drinks. and was shocked at how small
the serving glasses are, especially for their prices!! We will not go back not we we
recommend ever again.
The Live music really adds to this place. The food is smaller quantity, so you might have to order around 2 per person. Good collection of wines. Service was a tad bit slow but helpful.
They messed up one of my order a bit which was quickly replaced and they were kind enough to take it out of the bill.
This was my first time and probably my last. We came after reading John Batchelor's review. The food was good but our service was poor. We asked to have a drink modified but the waiter refused to make the change. We were hungry and asked for bread to go with our drink. When the bill came we were charged $6 for three orders of bread. He did not tell us there would be a charge. Over all a disappointment.
One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I RARELY if ever write a review but this was really bad. We went for Mothers day brunch at 1pm. The table was dirty. The glasses had lipstick stains. No silverware. The waiter was absolutely lost, had no idea which menu they were serving..He acted like we were bothering him as he just wanted to set other tables. I will never go back. The table beside us was also very upset with the experience and waiter. I still have him 10% tip because I just can't stiff people. $70 Bill was just a huge waste for Mothers day.
