Ghidotti's classic Italian restaurant blends old world Roman architecture together with a sunny Mediterranean vibe to create a wonderful backdrop for a "Classic Italian" meal. Don't expect red checkered tablecloths and candles in wicker Chianti bottles; rather you will be delightfully surprised by the rich detail in the design and the attention to every aspect of the food and service. Unlike any restaurant you have visited in the past, Ghidotti's seamlessly weaves the architecture, ambiance, food and service together into a fantastic dining experience.

Ghidotti's Ratings and Reviews
We were seated next to a warm, roaring fireplace exquisitely decorated for Christmas. The setting, food, and service were all stellar. The waiter and the chef were attentive and caring about food sensitivities, too! Amazing food. Thank you, Ghidotti's for making our anniversary so special! We will be back!
Local paper had a 2 for 1 deal for this restaurant and we heard great things from our concierge desk. Everything was absolutely delicious. The amount of time for the appetizer to the salads to the dinner was perfect. Never rushed. Server checked in with us. Able to bring in our own bottle(s) of wine which we liked. Would definitely eat here again on our next trip through PC.
Been here many times and have never had a bad experience. We like it because we can can have a conversation without a lot of noise. Quiet enough to hear our dining partners yet not so quiet that everyone around can hear our conversation. Food has never let us down.
Lovely ambience, but was a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. It was good....but not great. And the service was a bit lacking. It was not busy at all. And our wine glasses remained empty several times throughout the evening. I would say it is for special occasions only. The Christmas decor was gorgeous , but I'm afraid I might choose somewhere else next time.
Ghidotti's has been recommended by our concierge. It was a great experience from very friendly reception and service to delicious Italian food! We had a antipasti starter which included imported cheeses, cold cut meats, olives and very good bread! As entree we had osso bucco and salmon with pasta, both were outstanding. Also special request to substitute cream pasta with spicy marinara was a no-issue. The kids had pizza which they really enjoyed. We shared dessert which was very creamy and the best to close the meal. They had espresso coffee and Sambucca. This place offers exceptional good food and prices were moderate (we even had a coupon because of season start). We enjoyed the evening!
We NEVER had a bad experience at Ghiodotti’s. My husband and I had been there for dates, to celebrate our Anniversary, for Valentine’s Day, and this last time was to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. For all these occasions, we had a terrific culinary experience with a wonderful service and ambiance.
Place was not as busy as usual on a Saturday night. There were 5 in our party with 4 different entrees and no one was disappointed. Our servers were very attentive and other than the Antipasto being a bit skimpy things were great. I think the cook staff has improved the offerings. Favorites are Chicken Parmesian and Veal Marsala. Their bread with the dipping sauce is heavenly if you are into carbs.
First visit to this restaurant was great in 2015, when we were vacationing in Park City. The menu and staff were memorable so as we visited Park City this October, 2017, I was happy to go back for another memorable meal. Staff and food were out of this world . Terrific wine menu to compliment the food and the creme brûlée was fantastic. Waitstaff Daun and the manager (who lives in SLC) was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, wine and the surrounding area. Thanks
We had a table of 9 and the server was extremely pushy to try and coerce us to order an appetizer. We were not interested in ordering one because there was not an apppetizer choice that sounded good to us. She made several comments each time she came to the table and made the whole table feel uncomfortable. When it came to dessert she made a comment “since you didn’t order an appetizer I thought you would for sure order dessert”. Just not a classy server in a restaurant that is classy! Otherwise we enjoyed the evening.
Our server, Henry, provided excellent, polished service. Our salads ( Caesar and beet) were fresh and very tasty. The parmesans both veal and chicken were well prepared as were the veal pjcata and veal marsala. Everything was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our neals. Ghidotti's is one of our go-to restaurants.
We went to Ghidotti's for a nice group date with several friends. The food was delicious but we found the service to be lacking. This was probably due to a large wedding party that was occurring while we were there. I know that can slow things down and cause havoc in the kitchen. The manager however took the time to check with us and make things right.
Overall a good experience!
We split Caesar salad which were generous and excellent (loved the anchovies on the side). Also enjoyed the scallops, salmon piccata, grilled shrimp ravioli, and the Bolognase. Every dish was well prepared and presented and delicious. Will return.
I had the spaghetti with meatballs and my wife had the lasagna. Both were excellent. Service was quick and very polite. More than enough food for both of us. Very pleased with our overall experience. Excellent place to go for any occasion.
Terrible food. The pasta is undercooked. Lasagna and eggplant Parmesan were not traditional, and that was a problem. The eggplant parm consisted of some eggplant filling in pasta. Weird. The lasagna had spinach in it. And no taste. The place is huge and therefore not intimate in anyway. We had a table in something like a hallway facing the parking lot. A complete waste of money, unfortunately.
