Bad timing, small portions, chaotic, cold food, poor communication.
waitstaff was knowledgeable about all menu items, very attentive, personable. Mussel appetizer was delicious. we ordered two different seafood entrees. Both the shrimp and salmon entrees with different homemade side pastas were a treat to our tastebuds.
Food was ok. They were not busy but our service was HORRIBLE! One of my worst dining experiences.
Been eating there for several years. Service seems to have gone down hill. Salads and appetizer brought out at the same time. Hostess not very welcoming at all. We were then marked as no-shows on Open Table. Disappointed.
Overall pretty good. The Cannoli’S were surprisingly good and the gelato sampler was also a great dessert...
Great food and excellent service!
Had made a reservation for 7 people and we were put in the back room which was crowded and looked into the kitchen. However, at my request the hostess was most accommodating and was able to find another table which was in a much better location.
There was 5 people in our party including two children. We had great service and everyone enjoyed their entree
While everything else was top notch, the food was only so-so with high prices.
Our evening started with old lipstick on our water glasses, then hair in our butter that was served with our bread (we requested butter in lieu of the creamy sauce they usually serve with bread), then there was a hair on my scallops, of which, there were two fewer than the last time I ordered that same dish. Not a good value and serious health code issues abound at this restaurant!
The waiter went out of his way to make sure our dinning experience was perfect!
Large space. Good for families. Fresh ingredients and food. Wine was OK.
Good find away from all of the Park City crowds, located near the supermarket on the way in from SLC - Went with a ski buddy & we were both happy with what we had, though the menu was a bit limited (1 veal dish - limited sea food dishes) and fairly typical but the quality of the food was great particularly when paired with a nice chianti. Almost all locals & transplants and they like it like that!
We had attentive service (but not intrusive) and our waiter handled a returned meal fairly quickly. One of our group wanted her fish cooked a bit more. Appetizers were solid, everyone enjoyed the antipasti, meatballs, and calamari. There is a vegan option for the minestrone, which is nice. This soup (regular and vegan options) is very good and well-seasoned. The bread was alright this time; didn't taste as fresh as I remember it usually coming out, but the dipping sauce is always fabulous. I was not thrilled at the price of the house Chianti by the glass ($10, in summer it is $5). Overall we enjoyed the meal and atmosphere for our group but no "Wows" from anyone.
We ski annually in park City and this is one of the places that is on our must do places
We ordered the veal picatta and I felt it should have been served with a cooked vegetable and a small potato or carb rather than a few pieces of lettuce. Not a complete meal on the plate.
Great food and service! Highly recommend!!! Our server was extremely helpful and knew ingredients and menu very well. We received our food quickly and the atmosphere is superb!!
The service was friendly and attentive. However, everything came so quickly that we were done with our dinner in less than an hour. We didn't feel like we were being rushed, but, some "space" between courses would have been preferred. The food was very good and we had a very nice, but "quick" dinner!
Went there with the family while on vacation. Bar was “backed up” so we did not get drinks until after appetizers were served. Food was good. No specials. The restaurant is huge! Service was very good.
Average food, unfortunately we wanted some privacy and we a got noisy neighbors.
Very expensive, very salty, not that tasty. Very disappointed
Love he bartender Shawn!!!
We have been to this restaurant several times and this last visit was our favorite. Everything we ordered was delicious, our waiter was efficient and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back
Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Delicious homemade pasta and wine. Authentic Italian.
Food was not good and service was worse.
This restaurant was reviewed well on Trip Advisor, so we decided to give it a try while visiting for a ski weekend. It is not located in downtown Park City, but rather off the highway in a retail development. The ambiance is very cool and unique. The eggplant pasta dish was delicious and the gelato ice cream dessert was a hit. There are 4 flavors served on cones in a cute little dish. The favorite flavor was the ginger, even among the kids. The only negative was our table. We were a party of 4 and we were at a long booth that was too big for us and meant more for a party of 6 or 8. It made for odd conversation.
This is a very large restaurant that seems to have endless rooms with lots of seating. It was very busy and took 5-10 minutes before we saw our waiter. He was friendly but not real chatty. We placed our orders and ask for bread to be brought to our table. Our salads came and we finished them...and still no bread. When our entrees came we ask again and this time we finally received our bread! I was told that I only had two options for vegetarian - pizza or EGGPLANT AGNOLOTTI - I ordered the latter. It was described in the menu as- (pickled tomatoes, fresh basil, burrata, rich tomato brodo) I was so surprised the it arrived and was actually Ravioli ! I assume that it was stuffed with Eggplant although it didn't taste like it. The Ravioli was very tough and way to chewy - it was even hard to cut with my fork. No flavor and way to salty. There were no pickled tomatoes and certainly wasn't like the menu described it! My husband ordered LAMB + CONCHLIONI - the menu described it as - (port wine braised bill white farms lamb, ricotta stuffed shells, giardiniera) He was also surprised when it arrived as it was really more of a stew with stuffed pasta shells. Neither of us loved our Entrees and decided to forgo ordering dessert as nothing we ordered impressed us in the least and felt pretty confident that the dessert would fall short as well. We have no desire to come back.
Order was lost so it took us an hour and a half to get our order of soup and pizza.
We were there on Valentine’s Day and the specials were amazing!
We had an excellent dinner at Ghidotti's. My husband had a salad and the lasagna which were both very good. I had the Scallops and polenta. The scallops were fresh and large - I think I had 4 or 5 and the polenta was the best I have ever had. it was a great dinner!
Had a great time and our servers made a big difference. Absolutely spectacular. Great ambience. Food was very good. We had a group of 8 and everyone was happy.
We really enjoyed our evening here. The restaurant was extremely accommodating as we were booked for 6.30 pm and had to call twice to move our booking later as my husband was stuck at the doctors and then the pharmacy. We finally got there at 8pm in a complete flap. The staff seated us by the fire poured us wine served us beautiful meals...we all had pasta and all in all made our night.
Great food and service. Would definitely go back.
Great atmosphere, food, and service. Will be back soon.
We were greeted by Henry Stike manager and he was perfect in adjusting the changes that were needed in our reservation. He made sure our experience at Ghidotti’s was a pleasant one. Kudos to Henry!
Love this restaurant. Great atmosphere
The food was very good except for my husband’s salmon piccata dish. While he said the salmon was good, it lacked any lemon flavor and he found his pasta flavorless. I did not enjoy the location of our table. It was directly in front of the kitchen and the kitchen doors were open during our entire visit. I guess the positive is that the kitchen was clean
Delicious meal, great service and a good value for the area.
Sketchy service - our wine bottle ordered at the bar arrived after our first course! Food was average and lack luster... place was decorated to a high style but then was brightly lit like a fastfood joint with TVs all over!
