Ghidotti's classic Italian restaurant blends old world Roman architecture together with a sunny Mediterranean vibe to create a wonderful backdrop for a "Classic Italian" meal. Don't expect red checkered tablecloths and candles in wicker Chianti bottles; rather you will be delightfully surprised by the rich detail in the design and the attention to every aspect of the food and service. Unlike any restaurant you have visited in the past, Ghidotti's seamlessly weaves the architecture, ambiance, food and service together into a fantastic dining experience.

Ghidotti's Ratings and Reviews
Veal Marsala was excellent. The Mussels appetizer is a substantial portion for the price and well prepared. My wife and her friend shared the gelato sampler for dessert which they both highly recommend. Our waiter was very attentive and even handled a special request without any complaints.
Overall a nice evening.
Our entire group loved it. Everything was great. In fact, we were very impressed with our waitress. She did everything but cook the food for entire dining room. The food was fabulous. Everyone thought their dish was fabulous. Get the chicken soup. Get the scallops. Get the ravioli. All phenomenal.
We have celebrated New Years Eve dinner at Ghidotti's for the last five years. Past years have been consistently good food and good service. This year the food was mediocre at best like it was prepared in advance and plopped on a hot plate. Even though I made our reservation far in advance on Open Table we were seated directly in front of the kitchen door which was kept open during our entire meal. The largest disappointment was when I received the check I gave them my AMEX card. I received a payment indication on my cell phone that indicated they had added a 20% gratuity before I reviewed and signed my card. The 20% was not included in the check. I talked to the manager and he blamed the wait staff for doing that and he assured me that what ever I wrote would be changed on my credit card. I intentionally wrote a different number and my bill was not changed at American Express. This will be our last trip to Ghidotti's.
We have been there a number of times and it was fabulous. However, this last experience was disappointing. The oso bucco was cold, and my pasta noodles were tough. I'm going to contribute this to the business of the restaurant, and they were having an off night. I'm hoping next time our dining experience will be as delicious as in the past.
Where do I begin. We ordered sparkling water not once but twice and the waiter didn't bother filling our glasses. Simply brought the bottle and glasses and dropped it off. No bread was ever brought to our table nor were we offered for crying out loud its an italian restaurant who doesnt serve bread with their meal. but we did get the if we order our meal separate from our appetizer we will be waiting a long time to eat speech. Food had NO TASTE when it arriced. I certainly don't recommend this place.
The service was absolutely horrible. They brought our appetizers out from the kitchen and they sat on a tray for 30 minutes! This list goes on. The wait staff was inattentive and seemed as if they didn't want to be there. I would never go back to this place and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Should not be on Opentable.
We were seated next to a warm, roaring fireplace exquisitely decorated for Christmas. The setting, food, and service were all stellar. The waiter and the chef were attentive and caring about food sensitivities, too! Amazing food. Thank you, Ghidotti's for making our anniversary so special! We will be back!
Local paper had a 2 for 1 deal for this restaurant and we heard great things from our concierge desk. Everything was absolutely delicious. The amount of time for the appetizer to the salads to the dinner was perfect. Never rushed. Server checked in with us. Able to bring in our own bottle(s) of wine which we liked. Would definitely eat here again on our next trip through PC.
Been here many times and have never had a bad experience. We like it because we can can have a conversation without a lot of noise. Quiet enough to hear our dining partners yet not so quiet that everyone around can hear our conversation. Food has never let us down.
Lovely ambience, but was a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. It was good....but not great. And the service was a bit lacking. It was not busy at all. And our wine glasses remained empty several times throughout the evening. I would say it is for special occasions only. The Christmas decor was gorgeous , but I'm afraid I might choose somewhere else next time.
Ghidotti's has been recommended by our concierge. It was a great experience from very friendly reception and service to delicious Italian food! We had a antipasti starter which included imported cheeses, cold cut meats, olives and very good bread! As entree we had osso bucco and salmon with pasta, both were outstanding. Also special request to substitute cream pasta with spicy marinara was a no-issue. The kids had pizza which they really enjoyed. We shared dessert which was very creamy and the best to close the meal. They had espresso coffee and Sambucca. This place offers exceptional good food and prices were moderate (we even had a coupon because of season start). We enjoyed the evening!
We NEVER had a bad experience at Ghiodotti’s. My husband and I had been there for dates, to celebrate our Anniversary, for Valentine’s Day, and this last time was to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. For all these occasions, we had a terrific culinary experience with a wonderful service and ambiance.
Place was not as busy as usual on a Saturday night. There were 5 in our party with 4 different entrees and no one was disappointed. Our servers were very attentive and other than the Antipasto being a bit skimpy things were great. I think the cook staff has improved the offerings. Favorites are Chicken Parmesian and Veal Marsala. Their bread with the dipping sauce is heavenly if you are into carbs.
First visit to this restaurant was great in 2015, when we were vacationing in Park City. The menu and staff were memorable so as we visited Park City this October, 2017, I was happy to go back for another memorable meal. Staff and food were out of this world . Terrific wine menu to compliment the food and the creme brûlée was fantastic. Waitstaff Daun and the manager (who lives in SLC) was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, wine and the surrounding area. Thanks
