Find yourself in Italy when you walk past the two cauldrons of flame entering Ghidotti’s. Ghidotti's classic Italian restaurant blends old world Roman architecture together with a sunny Mediterranean vibe to create a wonderful backdrop for a "Classic Italian" meal. Don't expect red checkered tablecloths and candles in wicker Chianti bottles; rather you will be delightfully surprised by the rich detail in the design and the attention to every aspect of the food and service. Unlike any restaurant you have visited in the past, Ghidotti's seamlessly weaves the architecture, ambiance, food and service together into a fantastic dining experience. As you explore the grand menu, take note of our specialties: Mamma's Chicken Soup with Parmesan Dumplings and Mamma Ghidotti's Traditional Spaghetti with Meatballs. At last, a taste of Main Street in Kimball Junction.

Ghidotti's Ratings and Reviews
We NEVER had a bad experience at Ghiodotti’s. My husband and I had been there for dates, to celebrate our Anniversary, for Valentine’s Day, and this last time was to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. For all these occasions, we had a terrific culinary experience with a wonderful service and ambiance.
Place was not as busy as usual on a Saturday night. There were 5 in our party with 4 different entrees and no one was disappointed. Our servers were very attentive and other than the Antipasto being a bit skimpy things were great. I think the cook staff has improved the offerings. Favorites are Chicken Parmesian and Veal Marsala. Their bread with the dipping sauce is heavenly if you are into carbs.
First visit to this restaurant was great in 2015, when we were vacationing in Park City. The menu and staff were memorable so as we visited Park City this October, 2017, I was happy to go back for another memorable meal. Staff and food were out of this world . Terrific wine menu to compliment the food and the creme brûlée was fantastic. Waitstaff Daun and the manager (who lives in SLC) was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, wine and the surrounding area. Thanks
We had a table of 9 and the server was extremely pushy to try and coerce us to order an appetizer. We were not interested in ordering one because there was not an apppetizer choice that sounded good to us. She made several comments each time she came to the table and made the whole table feel uncomfortable. When it came to dessert she made a comment “since you didn’t order an appetizer I thought you would for sure order dessert”. Just not a classy server in a restaurant that is classy! Otherwise we enjoyed the evening.
Our server, Henry, provided excellent, polished service. Our salads ( Caesar and beet) were fresh and very tasty. The parmesans both veal and chicken were well prepared as were the veal pjcata and veal marsala. Everything was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our neals. Ghidotti's is one of our go-to restaurants.
We went to Ghidotti's for a nice group date with several friends. The food was delicious but we found the service to be lacking. This was probably due to a large wedding party that was occurring while we were there. I know that can slow things down and cause havoc in the kitchen. The manager however took the time to check with us and make things right.
Overall a good experience!
We split Caesar salad which were generous and excellent (loved the anchovies on the side). Also enjoyed the scallops, salmon piccata, grilled shrimp ravioli, and the Bolognase. Every dish was well prepared and presented and delicious. Will return.
I had the spaghetti with meatballs and my wife had the lasagna. Both were excellent. Service was quick and very polite. More than enough food for both of us. Very pleased with our overall experience. Excellent place to go for any occasion.
Terrible food. The pasta is undercooked. Lasagna and eggplant Parmesan were not traditional, and that was a problem. The eggplant parm consisted of some eggplant filling in pasta. Weird. The lasagna had spinach in it. And no taste. The place is huge and therefore not intimate in anyway. We had a table in something like a hallway facing the parking lot. A complete waste of money, unfortunately.
We sat at the bar for dinner with Stephanie working behind the bar. She provided excellent service and was very pleasant. The grilled salmon salad and the grilled shrimp ravioli were both excellent. We look forward to returning.
The atmosphere is exquisite. I felt transported back to Italy. The restaurant itself is huge. It has multiple dining areas and a spiral staircase going upstairs. I assume there is more dining on the second level, but can't confirm as I never went up.
The food was very tasty but, we did have a few disappointments. There were several large conventions and sporting events in town the weekend my group dined there; so, unfortunately, the restaurant was out of quite a few items, which were the ones my companions wanted to order. Also, the online menu showed multiple vegetarian options, but it hasn't been updated for awhile. So, the physical menu given only has one veggie option for a main course.
Our server was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the food options. And she took a special request to chef for me, since I didn't want the ONE veggie dish listed (Picture below). The water boy never let my glass go empty and dessert was great. All in all, a great night with family. Just a couple minor issues which did not affect our enjoyment.
