Ghidotti's classic Italian restaurant blends old world Roman architecture together with a sunny Mediterranean vibe to create a wonderful backdrop for a "Classic Italian" meal. Don't expect red checkered tablecloths and candles in wicker Chianti bottles; rather you will be delightfully surprised by the rich detail in the design and the attention to every aspect of the food and service. Unlike any restaurant you have visited in the past, Ghidotti's seamlessly weaves the architecture, ambiance, food and service together into a fantastic dining experience.

Ghidotti's Ratings and Reviews
This is a very large restaurant that seems to have endless rooms with lots of seating. It was very busy and took 5-10 minutes before we saw our waiter. He was friendly but not real chatty. We placed our orders and ask for bread to be brought to our table. Our salads came and we finished them...and still no bread. When our entrees came we ask again and this time we finally received our bread! I was told that I only had two options for vegetarian - pizza or EGGPLANT AGNOLOTTI - I ordered the latter. It was described in the menu as- (pickled tomatoes, fresh basil, burrata, rich tomato brodo) I was so surprised the it arrived and was actually Ravioli ! I assume that it was stuffed with Eggplant although it didn't taste like it. The Ravioli was very tough and way to chewy - it was even hard to cut with my fork. No flavor and way to salty. There were no pickled tomatoes and certainly wasn't like the menu described it! My husband ordered LAMB + CONCHLIONI - the menu described it as - (port wine braised bill white farms lamb, ricotta stuffed shells, giardiniera) He was also surprised when it arrived as it was really more of a stew with stuffed pasta shells. Neither of us loved our Entrees and decided to forgo ordering dessert as nothing we ordered impressed us in the least and felt pretty confident that the dessert would fall short as well. We have no desire to come back.
We had an excellent dinner at Ghidotti's. My husband had a salad and the lasagna which were both very good. I had the Scallops and polenta. The scallops were fresh and large - I think I had 4 or 5 and the polenta was the best I have ever had. it was a great dinner!
We really enjoyed our evening here. The restaurant was extremely accommodating as we were booked for 6.30 pm and had to call twice to move our booking later as my husband was stuck at the doctors and then the pharmacy. We finally got there at 8pm in a complete flap. The staff seated us by the fire poured us wine served us beautiful meals...we all had pasta and all in all made our night.
The food was very good except for my husband’s salmon piccata dish. While he said the salmon was good, it lacked any lemon flavor and he found his pasta flavorless. I did not enjoy the location of our table. It was directly in front of the kitchen and the kitchen doors were open during our entire visit. I guess the positive is that the kitchen was clean
I wasn’t happy with the seat that we were taken to. We sat at a table in the middle of the dining room . (Fireplace) There were people constantly walking to and from their tables and the wait staff passing by with drinks and food. It was not an intimate setting. The $15 mussel app was very skimpy but yet tasty. Our eggplant entree was delivered nothing as described but again tasty. The other entree was over cooked (lamb and stuffed shells) we spoke to the manager and explained our concerns and he took the cost of the app. Off our bill. It wasn’t necessary but much appreciated. Our waiter was very efficient and nice. Sorry but I cannot remember his name. We had a 2/4/1 coupon and found it to be if value. I would return but next time be more aware of seating options and better understanding of the menu options.
Ghidotti's has improved recently. We liked Ghigotti's because of the atmosphere, menu and location. The food was always acceptable, but nothing special. The last two times I've eaten there, the food has been excellent and given the warm lovely decor, easy parking and the ability to get a reservation, it's on our regular Park City "go to" restaurant list.
the food is well below average. The bread was stale and the olive oil was old and tasteless. The service staff was friendly yet they were not knowledgeable about their wine list. The entrees were unexciting and not well prepared. Heavy sauces and unappealing combinations.
Veal Marsala was excellent. The Mussels appetizer is a substantial portion for the price and well prepared. My wife and her friend shared the gelato sampler for dessert which they both highly recommend. Our waiter was very attentive and even handled a special request without any complaints.
Overall a nice evening.
Our entire group loved it. Everything was great. In fact, we were very impressed with our waitress. She did everything but cook the food for entire dining room. The food was fabulous. Everyone thought their dish was fabulous. Get the chicken soup. Get the scallops. Get the ravioli. All phenomenal.
