Ghidotti's is an excellent place to take your spouse on date night. It really gives the feeling of being different, in a good way, from most Utah eateries. Decor is wonderful, yet prices are not oppressive. The restaurant is quiet enough that conversing with your spouse is easy. The wine list is good. Our service was amazing, with the server returning to our table often enough that we were well cared for but not so often that he was intrusive. The calamari and the filet mignon were excellent. The only negative we experienced was that the grilled shrimp and the crab fettucini left something to be desired. Both the shrimp and the crab had a slightly fishy flavor they should not have had. Ghidotti's should dispose of seafood that has passed its shelf life-- not serve it.
Revisited this restaurant after some time. Needed a birthday spot and Ghidotti's came to mind as a classic spot for dining and spending time with friends. They have never been and were very impressed by the place. It was filled with many people enjoying time together which was lovely to see. We were all very pleased with appetizers and entrees ordered. Consistently good. One observation...the staff is SO young and working hard to please. Our entrees came before appetizer plates were taken away so that took a moment to acknowledge but rectified quickly.
All in all a very nice evening.
Limited menu. Food was very good. Service was great.
Our waiter Tyler was very attentive, the food was excellent and the wine recommendation spot on.
The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive, helpful and light hearted. The food on the other hand was not very imaginative or flavorful. The pizza was good as was the chicken parmigiana but the seafood fettuccini was dry, not cheesy or buttery and the crab had a very fishy flavor. The sautéed shrimp atop the fettuccini were excellent but at $30 entree -the shrimp were overpriced at $5 a piece. We wanted to love it- but it was very mediocre, overpriced food. Bummer!
Food was good, service was OK - could be just a bit more attentive. We ended up pouring our own wine as the wait person just wasn't paying all that much attention. We would love to see this restaurant offer beyond or impossible non-meat meatballs. We don't eat meat and these are a great substitute. Eggplant parmesean would also be a great addition to their menu
We had a really nice date night. Service was excellent and the waiter helped me pick a custom option that was amazing.
Overall a nice restaurant with good food at fair prices for the Park City area. Nothing really spectacular about the place, but we go there a few times per year when we are in the Kimball Junction area. My only complaint is that they do not know how to make a good italian style espresso. Also, the waiter last time did not ask if I wanted my after dinner cognac warmed, I had to send it back to get it warmed.
Everyone got excellent food. We stayed and takes forever and they didn't mind. Excellent wait staff. Their salmon is seared perfectly and most on the inside, and their pork is the tenderest you can buy anywhere.
Always a good choice for quality food, atmosphere and service in line with all Bill White locations.
Delicious! Pasta was wonderful and pizzas were so good!
Dependably great food!
Food is always great at Ghidotti’s. Found a quiet table to dine at. “ Dine Around “ prices were helpful. Good portions of each course we ate. Attentive and responsive waiter.
Service was quite good. Management stopped by table and very attentive. Food quality was average. The salmon was on the smaller side for the entree price, the Pasta and sauce were just ok. The tiramisu clearly bought and not house made or if made in house frozen and defrosted. Decor aspiring to capture old world Italy unsuccessfully- felt contrived and theme park like.
Great service!! We enjoyed cocktails, steak, salad, chicken soup. The tiramisu dessert was a little hard to dig thru.
Glad we stopped in.
Service wasn’t great, too expensive for what we got.
Food was good waitress was overwhelmed and food was very very sliw
We always go out of our way to have dinner at Ghidotti's when we're in Park City. Food choices and preparation are always superb.
Great restaurant and great food, would highly recommend!
Guests wanted to dine outside. Both had specific food allergies and they were very impressed by the food and service.
We were so disappointed with our dinner last night. We were going out for my husband's birthday and wanted something special. The rolls were hard, my salmon was very salty and the noodles were swimming in oil. I don't mind paying for a quality meal, but this restaurant was definitely not worth the price. Our waitstaff was inexperienced and not very attentive - and I don't like someone hovering over me while I eat, but to ask how our food was when we were almost done eating seemed a little late. Only time we have been to Ghidotti's so maybe it was just a bad night but we won't be going there again.
Great service. Slower night, so hard to knowing this is typical. Generous servings. Our party was spilt on the food itself, so call it “good not great”. The opinion split was across all parts of our meal: starters, salads, mains and dessert. For resort city food and the price, it was a fair but not great value.
We enjoy the food and ambiance at Ghidotti’s in Park City and this evening was the next to the last night staying in the Canyon’s. Our special night we were assigned Sarah as our server and she absolutely did not fail us!
Our starter was the beef carpaccio and it was excellent..loved the radishes and capers.
My main course was your famous Chicken Soup…perfect! My husband had the evening special,
swordfish! The veggies and broth made for a moist and tender delicious meal.
We shared the gelato special for dessert..four cones, four different flavors but we could only devour two, hubby had the chocolate and I had the pistachio! Yummy, and thanks for the fantastic experience!
You won’t find lasagna on the menu. Kinda strange for an Italian restaurant. Try the chicken soup
Wonderful food and beautiful outside dining even though it is in a shopping plaza type setting. They have done a beautiful job with flower pots and the canopy's to make it have a wonderful ambiance.
Our waiter was excellent making the experience a memorable one as we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday.
It was great! Would recommend it to anyone especially friends
This was our second time dining at Ghidotti's and it was even better the second time! Our server, Ryan was AWESOME! He came to our table and told us that he had a couple of big groups, and he asked if we were in a hurry. The manager even stopped by while we were waiting and asked if we had any questions about the menu etc. Our bottles of wine were opened and poured promptly, so we were able to enjoy conversation with our 4 guests with a glass of wine while waiting. The food presentation was great and the dishes came out piping hot! It was our last night in Park City after spending two months there, so this was a great way to end our vacation. Thanks Ryan for making it a fun and very enjoyable evening!
we were seated next to a very noisy group of at least 20 diners....no reason to do that with a very large, mostly empty restaurant
Ghidotti's has a great menu with many good selections. The staff is friendly and attentive and pricing is reasonable. Overall it's a very good value.
The food was really good, except the salad. Lettuce was wilted and too much dressing was applied.
We were 1 1/2 hrs. late for our reservation because of the fire in Parley's canyon and they were very nice and seated us anyway.
Thank you for your understanding and help to make our experience a pleasant one anyway!
They are clearly understaffed. Tables were waiting 30 minutes to get their first drink and a menu. When I was served my steak by a food runner, I asked him for a steak knife and he told me I had to wait for my waiter. So I sat with my steak getting cold because my waiter was running his tail off to take care of his many customers. Also, there was a table behind me that brought their dog in to the restaurant when there is outdoor seating. And it definitely was not any type of service animal just a pet. The dog wasn’t as much as a bother as the humans were talking about their dog’s bathroom habits and letting it roam round and sniff things. Also, there were two flies that I kept having to shoe away from myself and my food and drink and I was indoors!
Now I know it’s a pandemic and every place is short staffed. There were two hosts standing around and a manager who was pulling dead flowers outside and the three of them could have greatly helped the diners. I think it was a case of “that’s not my job.”
I tipped 25% because I know it is not the waiters fault that everything was so subpar. I had been to this restaurant many times in the past and wondered why this time it was so empty. Now I know why.
Wonderful place near the Canyons Resort area as an option to going into Park City. My meal was one of the best salmon dishes I've had in years at a restaurant. My son's dish was also quite good he said. Nice service on the outdoor patio.
Really good Italian food. Spaghetti and meatballs are fantastic! Salmon piccata is great. Kids loved the Italian soda too. Prices are a bit high, $30/entree. Very good service.
We had a large group of 11 and added 2 at the last minute and they were very accommodating. Our server Jared was very attentive and professional. Only had one pasta dish that two in the party ordered that was a little on the dry side, but we asked for additional sauce and that improved it, otherwise would have given 5 stars. Will be back next time we are in PC.
Our server was wonderful! Please thank her. She even went the extra mile to run our forgotten phone out to us!! Food was outstanding!
Very good indeed. Land special dish was exceptional. Sydnee delivered excellent service.
