Ghee - Design District
An absolutely wonderful, creatively prepared meal with fabulous, thoughtful service! Can’t wait to return!
Overall one of the best Indian restaurants we have ever been too. We had the crispy cauliflower, and vegetable samosas, which were both delicious. We also had the backyard pakora, which was honestly one of the best dishes we had. We also tried both the garlic and ghost pepper cheddar naan, the winner there was us, because they were both great. Then we topped the feast off with the chicken tikka masala. Overall everything we had was delicious and I recommend this place to you no matter what diet you have.
Always an amazing experience to eat here! Come hungry and order at least 3 appetizers, 1 main, and leave room for 2 desserts!
amazing!! So yummy
Very nice staff, amazing food and great place. The date cake is absolutely delicious!
Chef is incredible, service is impeccable
50 minutes to be served food while restaurant almost empty.
Limited choice for lunch and only one waiter.
My favorite restaurant in Miami. Good sign when a lot of Indians are eating in an Indian restaurant.
Great food, very creative - little outside the norm. We loved it. Service was great, would definitely recommend for casual dinning.
Awesome food. I’d go back for sure. Everything was very tasty with really good flavors and spices. Our waiter at the Bar was entertaining and nice. It’s a must try
Ghee one of the best Indian fusion restaurants I’ve ever been to!!!!! My favorite place I went to in all of miami!
Been there 4x lunch and dinner absolutely outstanding!!!!
Despite the restaurant being almost empty, and my having a reservation, it was like pulling teeth to actually get a table with the hard plastic chairs. We were perched uncomfortably on backless bar stools for several minutes before they condescended to actually give us a proper table.
The food was uniformly terrible, with two exceptions: pani puri, which was on point, and crispy cauliflower which was delicious.
The other disasters we ordered:
Steamed green millet- too much coriander chutney, and very citrusy. Looked as awful as it tasted.
Farm okra - just about okay. Nothing to recommend.
Chicken tikka masala - very watery butter chicken. Utterly bland and meh.
Lamb chops - server specified to us that they were medium well. What they were, was burnt. Black, in fact. Dry and inedible.
Churassco - burnt and inedible.
Grain Naan - salty and dry
Garlic naan - ok
Innovative Indian cuisine. Fresh and delicious. Excellent, friendly and professional service. We love it.
The restaurant is just overly priced. Food quality sucks. We ordered crispy okras and you need some grinders to chew them. Most terrible Indian food I ever had in US across 25+ states that I have been till now. The prices are ridiculously high and the only reason for that is that they are close to Miami design district. If you are looking for an authentic Indian food, please stay away from here.
Absolutely awesome, amazing, phenomenal. There wasn’t a single thing we ordered that was not amazing. I highly recommend this place if you want some strong bold flavors & spices.
We love chef’s tasting menus, but are aware that not all of tasting menus are created equal. Unlike your typical experience that builds in flavor with each course, reserving the strongest dishes for the middle and closing courses, all of Ghee’s courses were superb and could be eaten individually as entrees. Each dish took us on a tour of authentic, reimagined and innovative Indian cuisine, engaging tastes and textures boldly and beautifully. Dessert is typically not the strongest offering in most southeast Asian restaurants we have visited, but Ghee’s dessert course sampled some of the best dessert we’ve ever eaten in any cuisine. Exceptional food and cocktails. Attentive service (kudos to Jojo, our host). Fun and laid back atmosphere. Best anniversary meal.
Amazing experience! Went with friends and we had the family menu. Definitely worth it. Delicious food and great drinks too.
Loved the lavander spritz and the lichee and rose one.
Service was amazing. Our waiter explained all the dishes and was super friendly.
It was my birthday we hit traffic so we were late to our rese Jojo at the door was it!!! Made room for us and the rest was history. Enjoyed everything! Bravo!
Great atmosphere. Great blend of classic Indian cuisine, local ingredients, and modernish techniques.
Mango pickles just like grandma makes in Chennai.
Great food. Gets a bit noisy at times.
Love everything about this restaurant! The food is amazing!
Not many chicken dish options
Small restaurant with a cool vibe. The food was a bit bland. The mango salad lacked acidity and fresh herbs and tasted as if it had been made a day or two prior. The mango was mushy and overripe. The saag paneer did not have authentic flavor... The tikka masala was ok. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The garlic naan was delicious as well. Be careful because the ala carte pricing will add up quickly! Worth trying but they need to step up the flavors to be a great Indian restaurant.
We have been going to Ghee restaurant in Midtown from the time they opened. We also go to their Dadeland location. The food is delicious and well priced. Will highly recommend this place. Signature dish is Chicken tikka masala with garlic nan. For appetizers, make sure to have both Bhel and pani pooris. During the the mango season, do try their mango salad which is delicious. Definitely will go back again soon.
I loved this place! The food was amazing!
couldn't get a response for my call to the restaurant for more detailed directions so my husband and I arrived a few minutes late. we waited few minutes before being seated and were both happy with the flavor of the dishes we ordered, good authentic Indian cuisine in a small modern casual neighborhood restaurant space. plan to return,
Great casual birthday dinner for my friend !! Delicious food . Great service
Best Indian food I have ever had
Great service. Our waiter was super personable. Interesting food.
We loved everything except for the temperature of our bottle of white wine.
John is great! will definitely come back soon!
GREAT FOOD REASONABLE PRICE VERY GOOD IN GENERAL WE WILL GO BACK
Amazing cuisine and service!
Absolutely stunning ambience and the food is a culinary delight. I felt like my tastebuds were on a journey into the depths of rich and subtle Indian cuisine like only my mom and grandma could make feel!
The food was amazing! I would definitely try it again!
Loved the food, great spot. However, they dont have highchairs and we had our 1 year old with us, so he had nowhere to sit. It really ruined the experience for us.
Enjoyed celebrating my birthday here with my family. Food was great - we ordered a number of appetizers and entrees and, with the exception of the lamb kebabs, was delicious (chef forgot to add masala to the lamb kebab). The staff was friendly and our waiter was attentive. Highly recommend this place and will definitely come back.
