GG's Waterfront Bar & Grill
Delicious food and wonderful service
Quand notre serveuse a compris que nous ne parlions que français, elle a trouvé un serveur parlant notre langue pour nous expliquer le menu.
Repas excellent et service impeccable.
Très joli cadre
Fantastic menu with very knowledgeable staff...
I love this place, the food was very good! The only thing is that the dessert I love, is not longer available. Chocolate suffle or molten.
Other that that was perfect, the service outstanding!!
We are outside at night and the water was beautiful! Great cocktail options and food was delicious.
Have been going to GG's for years because we like the setting. In recent months the quality of the food has greatly improved and so has the service. The new executive chef is making his mark. We are always happy to return there for a good meal in a beautiful location.
Food good, went for my birthday and asked for a table outside for 4 and was seated next to the bar, noisey and service was very poor
Great date place with amazing views of the inter coastal. Food is always on point. The bisque is heavenly and the service was attentive but not overbearing. Also try the seafood tower, super impressive and fresh!
Loved by visitors and locals alike, GGs Waterfront combines delectable dining, superior service, and a relaxed atmosphere. I made an 8:30p reservation for myself, and while it was clearly a full house, the level of attention and care I received made me feel like I was in a cozy cafe. I was seated on the deck, where I enjoyed the rack of lamb dinner, served on a bed of polenta and glazed brussel sprouts. For dessert I enjoyed the banana fosters bread pudding with pecan ice cream, a perfect balance of rich and refreshing, and an espresso. The only thing that slightly let me down was that I indicated in my reservation that I was celebrating my birthday, and while I saw another table served a "birthday treat" as a congratulations on expecting their first child, my request wasn't recognized even when I mentioned the reason for my visit to the hostess and server. Don't let that little quip discourage you though. Come here to celebrate! Celebrate your bday, promotion, new business, or just celebrate living life and being able to enjoy the amazing experience at GGs Waterfront.
Always a great choice if you enjoy fine dining sitting outside watching the sunset!
Nice and well priced wine list. We will return.
I gave my name when checking in. She said she had the reservation. So I assumed that I was checked in. The restaurant wasn’t crowded. The hostess had plenty of time to do her job. I also put birthday on the reservation. No acknowledgement was made.
I had to send back the lobster roll. It was very chewy.
Also had to keep looking around for the waitress to refill the water glass.
I don’t think we’ll be going back to this place.
I was unable to directly respond to your email that said we didn’t show. We did and I can send you the receipt if you want me to.
Seafood tower is amazing! Fresh delicious seafood!
Love GGs. One of our favorite restaurants In Fort Lauderdale.
Loved the restaurant, food and service. A bit noisy inside but do not let that hold u back! Highly recommend!
Excellent meal at Gg’s! Everything was delicious with great presentation. Highly recommend!
An awesome place, very recommendable! The food is absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared! The only thing what could be critizised - maybe because I‘m German 😉: immediately after the last bite was eaten, the service took the plate away and presented the check which destroyed the mood a bit...but anyway, the place is a must-go when you‘re in Hollywood..👍🏻
Great views outside.
Ben was great! Food delish! Great place as usual! Ambulance wonderful!
Only one problem my bf mentioned parking lot was flooded so your car is being valet parked in salt water on high tide. Not good for high end cars. Pumps suggested
Very good atmosphere and food
The ambience outdoors along with the lighting was spectacular food was excellent and so was the service would recommend highly to anyone
We were seated immediately for our reservation. The waiter finally came by and took our drink order. We ordered stone crabs for appetizer. He never brought any bread. I had to ask for it after the stone crabs. He never refilled our water glasses. After several times he came by without making eye contact and asking how things were I flagged him down and asked for water. He brought over the bottle, I asked him to leave it which he did. He said he was going to bring a chiller to keep it cold which he never did. The person that cleared tables came by and took the bottle when our glasses were empty and never refilled our waters. After finally getting break the same person that cleared tables passed by and took our break we were serving for dinner. For dinner I ordered the shrimp and scallop risotto which was good. My wife ordered the salmon medium well. The brought it and it was raw in the middle. My wife ate the ends because she was hungry and we had been there over an hour waiting. We asked for the manager and he took it off the bill but the salmon made my wife sick. She went to bathroom before we left and was stuck in bathroom most of the night ruining our plans. Date night ruined!!
Great job everyone for making our time at your place grand. And complements to the chef our food was 5 stars...
also thanks for the sunset views
Great service from Juan.
And all the rest of the staff as well.
Food is great. Had a table on the water which was nice but because it was near the bar and music, it was hard to talk.
Would return next time and choose another table.
The service was outstanding. Waiter explained the menu and specials very well. He was attentive, but not obtrusive. The food was delicious. The ambiance is a bit underwhelming, eclectic mix of styles. Not a great place for a romantic evening, but okay for a dinner out with friends/family.
Service was great, food was good but not exceptional for the price that it was. I was a little disappointed that there was no happy hour. Overall it was decent.
Ate at bar. Adrian was personable and professional Great to see Nat again. We live in Texas but have eaten here a dozen times
Overall it was a good experience. However our initial table was outside on the deck. I requested it but when we got to the very last table all the way in the back. It was too dark, and it took away from the dining experience. So we decided to dine inside. We were then seated right in front of the door to the deck. It was ok just a bit busy. Our waiter was ok but he did seem a bit distracted and forgot a few things. We had to ask for silverware to eat our desserts. The food was excellent though.
Friends and I were visiting from Washington state and decided to dine at GG's. What a great decision. The food was excellent and the service was top notch by every employee we interacted with. We tried stone crab for the first time and loved it. Oysters on the half shell, a couple bottles of Chablis, fabulous entrees and delicious affogato for dessert. All on a fabulous patio right on the intercostal waterway during sunset.
It’s a great location. The place is nice. It’s my third time there so I expected it to be good but I think we caught them on an off day. The fillet came out well done instead of medium and I had the mahi which was tasteless and mushy. It’s not an inexpensive place and I would have expected the server to ask why the meal wasn’t eaten. I’m not a complainer but I’m not sure I’ll go back.
Business dinner -fabulous food and great atmosphere! Highly recommend!
Simple lunch menu. Had the salmon scoop special - reasonably good and priced. The service had to be called over but not bad other than that.
Wonderful restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating to enjoy a quiet lunch or dinner or a nice time on the intercostal waters.
Always good! The food, the service, the atmosphere....everything!
My moms favorite in the area
We were sat immediately at a nice table in patio with pretty view. Service was very good. Had oysters to start which although fresh were just ok. Sea bass was a tough fish and the dish was pretty bland but the scallop and shrimp mushroom risotto was very tasty and a good portion. Overall, it was a nice evening.
Everything was great but the prices on the cocktails are a little to high. I understand you are in the water front but $80 dollars for 3 Mango Margaritas and 3 bourbon with ginger ale a little to high.
