This was our first time at the discovered gem that is Geronimo’s, a fantastic Peruvian dining experience. The ambience is just right, with charming decor, perfect lighting and pleasant background Spanish music. Free parking after 6 in an adjacent lot was close to full on a Saturday night, however, there were still 2 spots available, so we caught a break there. To start, we had the Ceviche Geronimo’s (which was my first ceviche). It was an interesting blend of tastes and I liked it. However, I enjoyed the Chupe De Camarones more. It was a warm savory rustic broth with a couple of shrimp. For the main, most people in our party chose the Pollo A La Brasa, which they seemed to enjoy. I ordered the Tacu-Tacu, which our server appraised as the establishment’s best dish. It was fork-tender, melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness that even your own grandmother could probably never reproduce. I know you think she could. Trust me, she couldn’t. To finish things up…I can’t remember what the other people ordered, because I was hypnotized by the Apple Coconut Crumb. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to prepare this dessert. It did not disappoint. And I think that’s the impression I would have with any of the dishes here. The offerings here are unique and delicious. You will leave Geronimo’s with a fond memory of a nice night out for your next date night.

Everything about this place is wonderful! Don’t be afraid to try this restaurant because it’s Peruvian. The food is not “weird” or “out there.” Everyone will find something delicious to enjoy except maybe those adults that still only eat mac & cheese and chicken nuggets. The manager/owner? Is fantastic.

Celebrated a friend’s birthday in the front window table, which was a lot of fun! Christina was so knowledgeable and we all loved our food - some of the flavors/layers were a surprise. Lovely experience w/ our first all Peruvian meal and we will be back.

Service is the absolute best! The waitress, Christine (maybe Christina) is super knowledgeable about the menu, easily guides you through the courses. She is an asset to the dining experience. Food was delicious.

Highly recommend yuca rellena, papa a la huancaina and ceviche Geronimo's for appetizers. The entrees are wonderfully seasoned and the portions large. Among our favorites are Tacu-Tacu, Lomo Saltado and Pollo a la Brasa. The house made sorbets, house made ice cream and lava cake are all delicious. The staff will cheerfully explain all dishes. We had a memorable dining experience!

Amazing find in the heart of Ambler. Only recently did a neighbor recommend this place and we could not be more satisfied. The food was amazing only to be outdone by the service we received. We will definitely be returning!
