I requested to sit outside in the bubble that was the reason I went to the restaurants for the ambience instead I will say on the other side and was told there was no outside seating. I ordered chicken fingers and fries the chicken was so dry that I was choking on it when I swallowed it even cut the roof of my mouth because it was so over cooked not to mention after that I didn’t see anything else on the menu that I want it so I ordered dessert which was a chocolate chip cookie sundae the cookie was so hard the ice cream had a all taste to it it was just horrible. I don’t know if the vesper side has a different menu but when I made reservations for Germantown Garden previously and sat on the side where the bubbles are everything was good I had no problems with my food I would never go back again
The server was more interested in watching Netflix at the bar than checking on us
It was me and my husband very first time at Germantown Garden and we’ve heard some good things about it. It was also our 19th wedding Anniversary. Everything was amazing and we will be back.
The service was awesome. The food selection was minimal. For the cost the value in amount of food did not match. Also bottomless mimosa are huge but they won’t allow you to share. Even though they are the same size and price as the shareable pitchers. I would have rather the option to pay for a pitcher of mimosas instead of bottomless. Overall it was a cute experience but I won’t be returning.
Cool atmosphere amazing experience
Great place for brunch.
Nice music and food
Unfortunately we found a hair in our drink. The stewardess was not friendly and not welcoming at all. The response time was slow and when she was approached she chuckled and offered to give another drink.
Scenery was nice but the Dinner menu was not appealing or appetizing and overpriced.
The server we had was so good and on point she was right on everything and also the food was so good .
We dined outside for my birthday, it was a little cold but you can take really pretty pictures there. The food was okay however, there wasn’t a lot of options.
The margarita was over priced and tasted like it came directly from the toilet. We didn’t even finish the food because it was so unappetizing. This place is a perfect example of where not to recommend someone dine if they visit Philly. What an absolute waste of money and time
The server we had was the worse, she walked posted us some many time and when to the bar area sit down in her phone and talking to her like 20-25 to come to the table smh
I had a good time. Would go back but just hope they have more people to help with the rush.
Hyped for nothing. Truly did not like it at all. Sorry
The food was not great. The steak was over cooked and burned. The waiter was also not pleasant. Waiter removed plates from table without asking or without saying excuse me.
The person that ordered JUST eggs was served after our food turned cold and we all quit waiting and finally finished.
Worst dining experience I had in Philadelphia.
Took us a solid 36 minutes to get a waitress (with a total of three tables filled in the place). Multiple pieces of silverware were dirty. Waitress repeatedly forgot our drinks, the bartender wasn’t doing a damn thing, and no one seemed to know what they were doing. Food came out all together (starters and dinner) and it was inedible and different temperatures.
The other table next to us was also furious at their experience. They had plenty of staff but no one working.
I would be wildly embarrassed if I owned this place. I would fire everyone (including myself), hire an entirely new staff and retrain them.
The worst part is, I’m not picky. I’m pretty easy going. But this was a disaster and I was so sad I picked this place for my friends. Avoid at all costs or you’ll regret it.
Got stuck in traffic and they moved our reservations back twice for us. Got there and the good times started! Great service, great menu, the food was amazing! Did an awesome thing for my buddies Bday, it was a great time!
My first time there, we will be returning. The food was wonderful and the drinks were delicious. See you guys soon
I went by myself a as
It was great
We traveled to Philly for the day and was excited to visit Germantown Garden. The service was great! The hostess and waitress were very kind and helpful. The food was bland. The drinks were okay, I guess. We didn’t finish them and didn’t get additional ones. We did have this cute rainbow cake but after we boxed up all of our food, to take for the road and give to someone in need we saw mice running around. I’m not sure if this was because of the outdoor seating or what but we got up out of there. The things that you see posted online compared to what you actually experience isn’t comparable.
A good place to get drinks. Food was nothing special. Very nice outside space
It was a vibe me and my lady enjoyed our selfs, good food and service.
The place was deserted on a Monday night. Only two other tables of two besides ours and it took over 30 minutes to get a wedge salad after telling the waitress multiple times that we had to be out in an hour. Took another 15 minutes to get three sliders (ordered at same time as salad) when, in fact, we ordered six. They offered to make them but we were quickly running out of time to get to a concert and did not trust that they would be quick. Food was good but service and responsiveness were terrible. If they were crowded, I could understand delays but there was no excuse last night.
At the time of reservation, I was given an open to select either standard menu or brunch menu. I selected "standard" menu from this option. However, when we were seated at the restaurant, we were told that only brunch menu was available and that there must have been some mistake on the reservation site. We didn't find much options on the brunch menu, so we decided to not have lunch there. Instead, we talked to a nearby restaurant. If I knew that only was the only option, I would not have made the reservation in the first place and could have saved the hassle for everyone.
Decided to go here with my gfs for a girls night. Disappointed SMH To start there was a bug in an ice cube in my drink. We ordered a pitcher and when I showed my waitress she wasnt empathetic at all and then I suggested if she could just fill my pitcher back up which maybe 2 half glasses were poured out of it which she agreed. Then came back with a small glass and said my boss said he will give you just this. Ordered mussels they tasted sour. Our garlic parmesan corn taste like garlic only. The cajun shrimp penne was no where cajun flavored. Then to top it off we had to keep hunting down our waitress every time we needed her. I could continue on about our food and service SMH
We were the first to arrive when they opened up. We had to wait for 15min while our waitress finished eating. We ordered bottomless mimosas but only got two pitcher and not even a refill on water. Other tables kept getting their mimosas replenished. The staff came and stood next to use and we aloes about the 20top they needed our table for so needless to say we were pushed out of the empty restaurant where we would’ve bought more drinks had we Kindly been asked to relocate
I was a little disappointed that the outdoor garden dining was closed. Was really looking forward to eating dinner in a nice Ambiance.
Food was great! Just dont look at the online menu as it isn’t updated. They also were out of a few things when we went, but the food was great! The steaks were cooked perfectly. If you like well done steak they will do it perfectly and it’ll be juicy
Amazing time. Everything was great
Food was gd , and the waitress was gd. Drinks was bomb!!
I was so excited to go and it wasn’t what I wanted it to be. Our server took so long to get to us the food was over salted and the drinks were just ok. Overall it was a disappointment.
We waited 30 minutes until someone finally served us and that was after we got up to ask why no one had approached our table for so long. Would not recommend.
Everything was perfect thank youuuu Kyle ❤️
The ambiance was very lackluster. I expected to walk in to a more lively environment. Some of the menu items are overpriced and the food was not impressive. On top of that the bathrooms were very dirty. Dirty toilet paper and paper towels everywhere. It was surprising because the restaurant was not busy and most of the staff were just standing around. I would be hesitant to visit this restaurant again.
Two friends and I met here for dinner before a show at Punch Line. Our server was great, but the menu needs updating. There are a number of items that have been discontinued but are still on the website menu, like the clam chowder and crab cake sandwich. The three of us all got the sliders, which were not great. The chicken wings app lacked seasoning. The Buffalo cauliflower app was pretty good.
Honestly not great. The music was loud for 7 pm dinner when it wasn’t crowded at all. Got the grilled chicken pesto which was supposed to have sundries tomato in the pasta dish. Both my mom and I each had one tomato each. She said some of her chicken wasn’t fully cooked.
