We visited during Mother’s Day brunch, and they got just about everything right. Robert, our server, provided excellent service. The bacon scone is addictive, add to that the jalapeño butter and oh my! The charcuterie cart had a nice variety with the wagyu being as good as it expected. The pecan praline sauce on the pancakes was rich and silky sweet goodness. The only mark missed was on the soft scrambled eggs with the filet, they got a little over cooked (but c’mon, I’m not gonna really nitpick on brunch and on Mother’s Day). Little touches like making an off menu chocolate milk for a kiddo, and extra effort in having to track down change for a large bill for the valet made the service stand out as more than worth the extra price tag.
Excellent restaurant! We had the sausage, tartare and white asparagus as appetizers - the bone in filet and boneless ribeye as mains. All perfectly prepared and delicious. Definitely a restaurant we’ll be coming back to.
Kinda hot inside. Great food. Great service. Decent value.
Our dinner at Georgie was wonderful. Cocktails and wine were excellent, but it was the food that stole the show. We ordered vegetable sides as appetizers (charred beans and creamed spinach--we ate every bite) and then tucked into our meat selections (venison and rib-eye). Best steak we've had in Dallas.
We will be back!
Will be returning to my now favorite restaurant in DTX.
Everything from the food to the service to the cocktails and decor was absolutely perfect! The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and personable and we loved the pairing that he suggested. We will absolutely be returning to dine again!
3rd time visiting Georgie in a week - another wonderful time, with great food and service
I wasn't sure how much to expect. Over time I've read both good and bad reviews about this place so it's taken us a while to venture in. We love a great steak and there's not many steak-enabled restaurants we haven't dined at in Dallas...so, we are also a pretty picky crowd. A brief glance at our menu was surprisingly small compared to the "big name" meaty places. Curiously, there were dishes that I had not seen elsewhere. So we gave it a try and we had really pleasant surprises... Burratta with strawberries -really a nice start. Pasta -agnolotti was perfect, not one bite left on the place. Boneless Ribeye had great flavor and super tender with nice char on outside. Potato Pave? - Excellent. Creamed Spinach (not all that unique) but it was perfect as well. We had the cheesecake dessert - it was ok, but not the highlight of the meal. We will definitely return. The only caution is that some of the steaks on the menu are well over $100 so be sure your credit card has lots of available credit for the final tab!
After church brunch date splitting chicken and waffles along with cocktails. Superb experience and compliments to both the manager (who preemptively changed my vague cocktail order to something he thought I would enjoy better : and he was right!!!) and our server who enriched our experience and confirmed we made the right decision.
Forgot our b day that we referenced
Wonderful service, we were guided to the perfect pairing of items on the menu and to make it even better they make a mean martini
The service at Georgies was amazing! Making reservations was easy and they were very accommodating. The ambience is perfect. Low lighting, Art Deco vibe. Great for pictures! The food was good but nothing stood out. I would definitely come back for cocktails at the bar.
Cute place! Food portions are smaller but very tasty. Great ambiance for a date night.
Exceptional cuisine...a beautiful dining experience with gorgeous decor along with sophisticated atmosphere. Five Star!!!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary and 3 days later we are still talking about our great experience at Georgie. Would love to go to brunch at Georgie.
Great restaurant and staff, great menu, food was 5 Star
This place was amazing. We started with a couple cocktails. I had a dirty martini and my friend had an old fashion. Since the moment we took our first sips of our cocktails we knew this was going to be an amazing evening. Our salad was so amazing I took at my friend and asked if it would be wrong if I licked the plate. You get the gist how yummy dressing was!!
Bot of our filets were cooked perfectly, mine medium and my friend’s medium well. We order string beans as our side, I can eat that everyday, all day!
Since everything was so yummy, we had to stay for dessert even though neither of us had any room left. We ordered cheese cake. We almost got into a fight for the last bite of our dessert.
Go there and enjoy. It’s money well spent!
2nd time we've celebrated a birthday at Georgie's and both times exceptional!
Georgie was awesome!! Highly recommend
We only enjoyed the ambience because we were seated outside. The dining room felt like a night club. very loud music, purple lights, crowded. It was uncomfortable.
Excellent service, excellent food! We went to Georgie to celebrate our anniversary. Our waiter was fantastic.. his recommendations were spot on and we did not feel rushed at all. It was an amazing two hour dinner!
Wine list is interesting with a broad range of prices and profiles. Plus a level 3 som to help guide you. Birthday celebration for 2. Steak tartare was a big hit. Not
Traditional but great flavor and texture. Charcuterie was way better than the pedestrian kind in most restaurants. Branzino was a perfect expression of this fish. Pork was super flavorful and exceptional quality - a surprising Asian flair. Venison was exceptional and more like what would be found on a French styled menu - somebody has great sous vide skill. If you have been craving lamb then make a point to go here. It’s kind of a large portion and great flavors. Beans were a fave side for the table. We loved the potato too, but we had so much other food that we the lighter bean dish won out.
Phenomenal service; read the open table request for a birthday celebration
Georgie is the perfect romantic birthday date option. The food and service are spectacular, and it truly stands out as a unique and reliable option for an outstanding night.
It was simply perfection! Emily was warm and knowledgeable. The meal and wine were outstanding. We celebrated my mom’s birthday and everyone made her felt so special. Thank you for a fabulous experience! It was our first time but definitely not our last!
We had the most special, delicious, incredible dinner at Georgie. We wanted to treat my parents and I can honestly say this was one of the best meals all 4 of us have ever had! From cocktails (Cosmos, Prosecco and dirty Tito’s martini) to the starters (burrata, housemate sausage and salad) to the divine pasta (we all shared) and finally the entrees - salmon, branzino and filet...it was scrumptious. We also had the creamed spinach & potato sides. Our server was fantastic and the decor was just cool. Go and enjoy a very special spot in Dallas! We were too stuffed for dessert so they brought us a little dish of mini macaroons and chocolates - perfection.
Great place for brunch. And even better place for dinner and drinks.
Brunch was amazing !!!
Georgie’s didn’t seat us until 45 minutes after our reservations. Once we were seated the waitress was overwhelmed by understaffing. We hardly saw her, food was placed on the table but no silverware for about 20 minutes.
The sommelier Jared is the absolute best! Great food, fun atmosphere and amazing wine. We’ll be back soon.
Dinner was delicious. I will definitely go back. We sat outside so I can’t say anything about noise level.
Disappointed in being rushed. One thing I’m not a fan of is being rushed! Service started out great then our waiter just became less interested. Foood was great. Drinks were nice. Ambiance is great.
Perfect service and meal
Everything was wonderful!!
Service and food were both impeccable. Also felt so safe and accommodating for our first night back out. We will definitely be back!
We and our guests had a lovely evening. I, honestly, can not think of anything that could have been added. We felt comfortable and welcomed. The dining options were served perfectly, the wine extraordinary. Everything led us to a dining experience/visit which we all treasured. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable. Delicious dessert(s).
All Hail, Edward
This was our second time there food still fabulous service tad slow and music a bit louder than it should be but I will still go back the food is great
Overall we had a good experience, except we were neglected for some higher end celebrity customers at a neighboring table. The food was great! A little overpriced but still delicious. We received better service, better steaks, and better service at Perry’s and Al Biernat’s (Al’s is probably the most similar spot from a menu and vibe standpoint)
Fun place for a special occasion. We celebrated our anniversary. My husband had the steak (filet)-yum! Melt in your mouth! I had the salmon-also great! Charcuterie board had pate on it-not our thing, but all else was good. Banana bread for dessert was yummy. Chocolate pie tasted grainy. The Emerson drink-overhyped. The ball on top “pops” so easily, gone before I could take a pic! And drink not that great. Get an expresso martini instead. My husband didn’t like the Smoke on the Leaves drink either. He said it tasted like medicine. Spiced cauliflower was good! Our waitress was great!!!
