The ambiance is amazing its just a really cool feel in an old home
Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Food was disappointing. It look a long time to get our meal and then the flavors were bland and uninspired.
The duck was outstanding, the fries delicious, and the corn bread was a wonderful surprise when we opened up the bread basket. We will be coming back!
Beautiful atmosphere inside and out . Food and service was the best. Our wait person Julia was pleasant and so nice. If I find my way back to Santa Fe , I will be returning. Great experience !!
Service was excellent throughout. Everyone was friendly and eager to please. The place is quiet and "for grown-ups." You can have a conversation without shouting to be heard. The food was not really up to expectations—mine or the chef's. Example: the chef has a nice idea with "grilled romaine" salad, meaning Caesar salad but taken up a level. Unfortunately the slices of cheese were chewy to the point of being leathery. Not an easy or especially pleasant thing to eat, although the flavors were good. Same comments apply to the duck breast: served on a bed of snap peas, which is an interesting idea, but there were really a lot of things stirred together on the plate, none of which really had interesting flavors.
The duck had little taste as we expected a cherry sauce or orange sauce but, the service was great!
We would try it again...
I was disappointed considering prices of items and several online reviews.
Some of the food was very good and some just o.k. The bread served was a very sweet cornbread which could have been from any grocery mix. A restaurant of this quality should have a better selection of breads to choose from.
The salad was mixed greens with an orange dressing which was very fresh and good.
We both ordered the chef special which was "surf and turf". The "surf" was excellent consisting of 2 scallops and 2 shrimp. The "turf" consisted of 3 "bites" of steak. Probably not over an ounce of meat, which was over-cooked and not very good quality.
Dessert was a pecan tart with ice cream which was very tasty, However, the pastry shell was so hard it was difficult to eat.
The service was very good, and the staff very friendly.
Seating was crowded. We were a couple caught between 2 tables of four which made for a noisy meal.
There are too many good restaurants in Santa Fe to waste time and money at Georgia.
Once again the service was excellent and the food was well prepared. We shared a salad and the calamari to begin. My wife had the scallops and I had the surf & turf. Well prepared and well presented. The one disappointment was that they no longer offer the Wagu beef hamburger. My wife had that last time and talked about it so much, that's what I was planning on having. Imagine my disappointment when we realized it was no longer on the menu. One nice extra is that we were able to pay for the meal tip and all using apple pay through Open Table. It made the end of the meal very efficient and hassle free.
A wonderful experience overall. IF you were there on a really busy night... you would be VERY close to your neighbors.
Now in its second year, Georgia has gotten even better. Fresh from the oven cornbread muffins practically melted in your mouth. We tried two different wines and both were quite good. The duck was outstanding and two of our group raved about the chicken as well. Deserts were also quite good. Our table tried four different things and could not decide which one was the best.
