This restaurant had changed its menu since the last time we were in Newcastle so were disappointed with the smaller selection. However the staff were lovely and the cod beautifully cooked.

The battered fish and chips were lovely. The haddock kedgeree very disappointing. Curry sauce flavouring was overwhelming. Felt it was far removed from traditional kedgeree. This should be explained before ordering. I had recommended here to my friends but they were so disappointed with the kedgeree I don’t think they will rush back.

I ordered haddock, they were out of haddock. They also did not stock dry ginger ale. I ordered draft cider, they were out of it. The large cod I ordered was at best a medium !!! Saying that all the food was well cooked and the service/staff were all friendly, polite and efficient.
