We went on a Tuesday night. 4 adult woman celebrating birthdays. Food was fresh, and very good. I had zucchini linguine with shrimp. It was delicious! Service was good and attentive. New owners I’ve been told. I don’t think you’d be disappointed
Felt rushed as they delivered the check and cleared the table without asking if we wanted another cup of coffee (there was no one waiting for a table). My steak was dry, my wife’s chicken was the same. Quality has decreased markedly since our last visit.
Nice menu for weekend brunch. Delicious Bloody Marys and good food. Reasonably priced. Will go again.

loved the mussels with the side of fries...now it's "bread"...
much better with the fries as mussels should be eaten...bring back the fries:):)

The popovers were appreciated, but they were not warm.
The food was very good all the way around the table and the waitress was very personable.
The food was delicious and the service was on point. Their Brussel Sprouts are phenomenal.
Enjoyed very much. Everything we had was flavorful and cooked correctly. My only odd complaint is that the onion soup appetizer was too BIG. A meal in itself. Would also like to see a simple salad for less that $12. This trend toward expensive salads costing as much as the other more substantial appetizers has to stop. We will be back soon.
We were pleasantly surprised. The food and service were great. Unfortunately a little disorganized when we walked in since the reservations desk is right on top of the door so it was hard for the staff to know who had just arrived and who was waiting already. Not a great design upon entering. The wait staff was truly was very attentive and very patient.
Been here before with several different owners but this time everything was outstanding. The food,the decor the wait staff were impeccable. Can't wait to go again. Lots of luck to the new owners!!

Went for brunch. Great table, service and food. Will definitely return.
The hostess, food & service was excellent. But the location of our table was in a terrible spot. There should not have been a table in that location. We were a party of six & were told “ that they try to accommodate everyone”. We would definitely go back, but make sure we have a better table.

This is our second time, consistent food, excellent service and found out about lot of their weekly promotions this time. This place has picked up really very well, it was packed on a Wednesday night. It was a a good atmosphere, everybody seemed happy
Just left after the steak night, $36 for a three course meal with 8oz fillet mignon cooked to my perfection and sear with au poviure, it was to die for. It's a bargain, will be definitely back!!!!. It was a pity to watch two ladies were trying to pull some discount and were extremely rude to the manager on top of this bargain where it clearly says on the menu that not to be combined with other offers or discount.
I grew up in Syosset and this venue has been our weekly fare up until a year ago. We thought of giving it a try under the new management and the place has turned around a lot. We met lot of our friends and noticed the same buzz that it had years ago, this is the best management and the best food so far after so many changes. OH!!!!! yes we met our favorite bartender Jackie, she is still there and the wine list has been up too. Now its going to be our weekly fare

It was packed for restaurant week. Good food, friendly service, a very nice meal in a bustling atmosphere.

The menu selection was poor we were looking for casual dinner that was low in fat not much to choose from.
Went to celebrate a milestone birthday - I had gone last year to their "grand opening" - not sure why the name changed so quickly but the interior stayed exactly as I remembered it. We had the filet mignon and the short ribs - both were excellent. I will probably return, but many more highly rated restaurants to still explore first.
I grew up with that restaurant since it was Heads & Tails, This is the first time I had seen some real gig in that place. Food is spot on, service is fine-dine class. This place has really picked up. My steak was cooked perfectly and everybody in my family enjoyed the food. It's Definitely our once a week place
Just left after having an amazing meal from the restaurant week menu, the pork chops were to die for. The other items on the menu looks enticing too, wife is not cooking this week ;), she plans to check out every option on the restaurant week menu. I met the new manager and found out the owner has changed.
We had a great time at George White. Food was outstanding and the atmosphere was very nice. Waiter and all of the staff was extremely friendly. Looking forward to going back!
It was a quiet time when we went... limited menu for brunch but a good variety.. was disappointed that they don’t serve bottled flat water... they do have sparkling tho .... every restaurant should have both waters for the customers.. I don’t drink Long Island water.. it’s toxic.. my grilled chicken was taste and the fries where delish. Cooked to perfection.. my husbands Mediterranean frittata was good he said... will return for dinner to see a better vibe ...
Another good meal since the restaurant changed to George White. Duck tacos and Brussel Sprout apps were great. My Duck dinner was delicious.
We have loved this restaurant every time we’ve been to it. This time was a little disappointing, mostly because it was very busy, and our server really didn’t seem that interested in serving us. She rarely checked on us, took forever to bring the check, then took forever to return the check. If she’d been apologetic in would have been happy to blow it off- meanwhile, the food was delicious as it always is and we will return!

We started going to this restaurant several weeks ago and loved it- we have already given a good review however tonight we went and ordered from the restaurant week menu. My main complaint was the lobster ravioli was fishy. How could lobster ravioli be fishy?? But it was. My mistake since it’s a Monday and I should know better than to order seafood on a Monday. I made my husband taste it and he agreed. The waiter takes it back and says the chef says he tried it and it wasn’t fishy. Excuse me? So, are we liars? The hostess apologized and offered to send us home with something else which was nice. But the insult from the chef as if we were lying? That’s just not acceptable to me and I will not return.
Enjoyed a great meal. The crunchy tuna app was great. The scallop risotto was perfect. Service good nice atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Overall a good experience
I've been a frequent flyer at this location ( many different names) but George White has it gong on for sure! The food was amazing and the waiter was right on the money. I used to come here for the convenience (I'm a local) but now I'll come for the food and atmosphere! Bravo!!!
