Service Poor...Food very good!
We found this restaurant on open table and they did not disappoint. The waiter was amazing. The food was light yet delicious. I even received a birthday brownie for the occasion!
I wanted BBQ platter, however I wanted house fries instead of pinto beans. I was told I couldn’t substitute. So I had to choose another entrée. I opted for the braised beef ribs with garlic mashed potatoes and crispy onions. I enjoyed the rib, the mashed potatoes needed more garlic.
It’s a shame I wasn’t able to substitute the beans, I may have loved it more. I won’t be going again.
I love this place. We come all the way from Philly to visit. Love the ambiance.
The service was wonderful. I had the pork chop and my wife had the salmon. Pork was juicy and not dried. For drinks had the black cherry whiskey sour.
Grill Fire is a very intimate, upskill, and friendly restaurant. Perfect for date night, girl's nights, adult nights, and parties. The food was enjoyable!! Looking forward to visiting again and again!
We really enjoyed dining George Martin’s Grillfire. The food was excellent and the service was too.
I got the steak tacos. They were good but I didn't feel warranted the price.
The food was excellent . The waiter , Xavier , was the best ever !
Our overall experience at George Martin's Grillfire was OK. Once seated, our drink order took about 15 minutes to arrive. Our server, Pedro was very nice, but that in itself was not enough to compensate for the mediocre food quality.
The Sunday Brunch menu was simply but delicious!!
George Martin’s GrilleFire is a hidden Gem!…My wife and I have frequented this prestigious, quality restaurant since it’s inception. Never once have we even come close to being disappointed. I would personally refer anyone to this restaurant who likes good food, great atmosphere, and extremely competent wait staff & Management. We LOVE GrilleFire!!!!!
The meat loaf was a little dry. The bread crumbs are not need and they should add onions and peppers to it with a little season. Grill the vegetables first. They grave was different.
Anniversary night. Table was ready when we arrived. Took a little longer than expected for the waiter to take our orders - they appeared under staffed.
Ordered a bottle of wine and mixed drink. Mixed drink was great, bottle of wine turned out to be a very cheap bottle that was way over priced.
Ordered dinner. Salmon & Rib Eye. The wife's salmon was good but the Rib Eye had ZERO flavor. Had to add a lot of salt and pepper. It was supposed to be medium rare, more like medium to medium well. As it was busy, just ate it rather than send it back.
Finished up with cheesecake - which was the best part of the meal.
Service was good considering, food could have been much, much better since the final bill was $100 a head.
I'll probably go back, but someone needs to work on their steaks - at that price you should get a better cut, cooked right, and with flavor.
Very disappointed. The crab cakes tasted more like fish cakes and were of that texture. Crab cakes should be lump, not smoosh. Gave it better than 1 because I’ve eaten here many times and it has never been this disappointing. Hope they make a better effort or take crab cakes off the menu if crabmeat is so expensive that they must dilute it with filler in order to offer it.
AWESOME BRUNCH AND WAITER
Enjoyed food. Location is convenient. Didn’t like that some ppl had their pets (outside dining), but not major concern.
First time visiting the restaurant since the Covid pandemic and reopening. The food was outstanding. The Soy Glazed Brussel Sprouts for an appetizer was very very good. My wife ordered the special Mahi Mahi with Pineapple Thai Chilli topping. It was outstanding. I had the 16 oz ribeye steak which was perfectly cooked as requested. It was our 40th wedding anniversary in which the restaurant provided free desserts. We took half of our meal home, because it was large portions of everything. We will definitely go back. The restaurant practiced social distancing and mask were required when not eating. Limited outdoor seating depending on the weather. They don't take reservations for outdoor seating. We felt very safe. Our waitress was kind and did an excellent job considering serving most of tables. We did have reservations.
We ordered 5 dishes and two of those were returned to the kitchen.
We went there for our 22nd anniversary. We arrived early. We were welcomed with Happy Anniversary. The staff was amazing. The food was spectacular. We will definitely be returning.
Very generous portions and fantastic flavor.
Very friendly and efficient staff, even if they were slightly understaffed (chronically, the new normal).
Will definitely return..
We had dinner here for the first time to celebrate our 24th anniversary. First, the modern decor is beautiful.
Then, right after we were seated, we were brought 2 glasses of champagne gratis to celebrate our anniversary. Nice touch! Our server Travis was excellent. He was attentive and helpful but not overbearing.
We ordered the Calamari to start. It was served hot and crispy and the aioli put it over the top. For the entrees my husband and I both ordered steak. He had the ribeye and I had the New York Strip. Both were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Fantastic meal and experience overall. We will definitely be back!
We are in the neighborhood and go there weekly. We brought a friend from out of town. It was great.
On a VERY busy Tuesday evening-high noise level for seniors. Service felt rushed.
Ordered a rib-eye steak sandwich @$23 and received a steak @40 delicious and grilled to perfection.
This is a go to place for us near BWI airport. Since Covid, many places are hiring whomever they can. Our waiter was non-existent for most of the dinner. She put down the wait person for our table whom basically got us menus, cleared the table and got us extra stuff. Oh, well! Sign of the times.
You cannot go wrong with this place. Everything from the serving to the food is outstanding!
this was a really nice find for dinner. our waiter was very knowledgeable abt the menu and made very good recommendations. the service was super fast, and the food and drinks were really good. go!
Great crab soup. Main meals of salmon, steak tacos, braised short ribs were excellent. Truffle Mac and cheese topped off the meal. Nice evening out with the family.
Service was great, food was even better. Large portion size good pricing. Get the frozen cocktail it's house made and delicious.
We went here for our 23rd wedding anniversary. GrillFire was perfect. They had a table reserved for us next to the fireplace as we requested. We had the steak tacos. Delicious! We followed that up with the chocolate brownie for dessert - warm and gooey and drizzled with chocolate sauce, caramel and mini M&Ms. Wonderful!
I don't think it gets much better than GrillFire for a special occasion dinner.
I must say, I am GM GrillFire survived the pandemic! Their burgers are on point!
They are always cooked to perfection.
Staff is always friendly too.
A great neighborhood gem.
Service was ok
Price point was very good
A little crowded
Great food and service with a very nice atmosphere
George Martin's Grillfire is a lovely bistro inside the Hotel Arundel. The menu is classic yet chic and modern with varieties from burgers and sandwiches to high end cuts of steak and braised short rib. The atmosphere is very romantic for a late lunch or an evening of wining and dining. Excellent pricing, food and service!
Food was ok, service was good. Ambiance was ok. Standard hotel restaurant.
We had Tim @ Greg serve us. Totally a wonderful experience drinks @ food awesome. Will definitely be coming back soon!
Staff was very lovely and nice. I loved my salad but the Mac and cheese was not flavorful.
Beautiful restaurant, love the atmosphere, food was delicious, and great choice! I will be returning for date night with my husband!
Anniversary of 20yrs of Marriage
First time checking this place out.
We won't a little early to beat the dinner rush. Was very quiet. Or server was nice the food was good NOT great but the Ribeye cut was a good cut cooked to order and was good the BBQ sauce they serve with it can get lost it had no flavor. But the mash was decent and the broccoli was good.
Would I go back there for a steak? Probably not but for a drink and nice atmosphere yeah I would.
