While we were on holiday, we decided to have dinner at Geo. Things didn’t get off to the best start — our drinks were wrong and took a while to sort out, and then we were accidentally given someone else’s meal. That said, once everything was sorted and our food arrived, it was totally worth the wait. The food was great! We went for the Wednesday Steak Club deal and really enjoyed it. The only thing I’d change (especially since there were four of us) would be to ditch the wooden boards and just serve the food on plates. The boards made the table feel crowded, and we ended up moving everything onto plates anyway. Despite the early hiccups, the staff were lovely and did their best to make up for the issues — they even took the drinks off the bill, which was a nice touch. All in all, a good experience, and we’d definitely come back.

This is a lovely bar and restaurant. Very nicely decorated, great atmosphere and lovely staff. We had snacks and glasses of fizz - I can recommend the peanut butter pretzel bites! The staff are really lovely, welcoming and accommodating.

Ordered starters. Mains and a side. The Bao starter was very chewy, both the meat and the bun Other 2 starters were great For mains we had steak that tasted great and had an amazing sear to them, unfortunately however they were far too salty and I did advise the staff that they need to use less salt Our side of tenderstem brocoli that we ordered did not arrive to the table and I forgot to mention this at payment so payed in full for something I did not receive Great friendly staff. Very quiet in the restaurant for an 8pm slot as we were the only diners in the building

We chose to stay downstairs as there was no one else in, but wish we hadn't as the door was open and made for a cold evening. We did ask them to shut it, which they did, but only one door. I was disappointed with the food and the burger which was slightly over cooked. But the environment was nice and the staff were pleasant when they came over. Granted they only asked if meals were ok about 2 mins before we finished! Probably better when busier, but we still enjoyed our catch up time as friends.

Brought friends for a cocktails and a meal last night, we weren’t disappointed , food was incredible ! Mozzarella sticks were incredible ! So good to see the small plates back on the menu! Steaks were beautiful , perfectly cooked and seasoned. Gina and George looked after us so so well ! Throughly enjoy our visits

Great bistro food, lovely ambience upstairs in the restaurant and super friendly and attentive staff. Loved the vibe in geos slightly disappointed with the menu choices not a lot on offer with starters and mains and desserts. I ordered the halloumi burger which was lovely and my friend ordered the steak. perfectly cooked to her liking she asked if they could do a Stilton sauce as it wasn’t a choice on the menu and they was really accommodating and made it. Not sure why it wasn’t on the menu as it super delicious 😋 I would recommend this restaurant definitely but would be better with more choices on offer personally.
