Recommended: tempura fried right in front of you, enabling you to enjoy the sight of a skilled chef at work. At the tempura counter, the “Matsukaze” lunch sets from ¥4,514, dinner from ¥9,504. From 14/3 to 12/4 a special cherry blossom viewing lunchtime set menu will be on offer (¥6,534). Dinner from ¥4,752, tempura counter from ¥9,504, kaiseki multi-course sets from ¥11,800. Lunch ¥4,514, kaiseki menu from ¥7,128, kaiseki dinner from ¥11,880. Special obi-tying ceremony and shrine visit menus are also recommended. Food eaten in tranquil surroundings overlooking the ever-changing Japanese gardens is something people from Japan and around the world will appreciate. The restaurant has a tempura corner in which customers can watch the chefs at work.
