Genius Lounge is established in 2009, is a full service bar restaurant serving Japanese inspired Hawaiian dishes. We were selected 2022 & 2023 OpenTable Diners' Choice Restaurant.

Our menus are created by Japanese experienced chef Taiga Sasahara, using Hawaiian ingredients throughout our dishes.

We have some famous Hawaiian items; Sushi, Fresh seafoods, Steaks, Salads, Pizzas, and Original homemade noodle dishes!!!

You can pair those items with our extensive drink menu such as Sakes, Wines, and a lot of original cocktails!

It is perfect a place to enjoy a low key night with friends or a romantic date in the heart of Waikiki.

Food was delicious. With 9 of us, we sampled almost everything from Happy hour menu and it was all delicious. Dinner entrees were just as delicious . The service was attentive and friendly. We added this place to our list of “must visit “ when in Oahu.

We easily made a reservation for an outdoor table. The staff was very friendly seating us promptly and recommended menu items. The drink menu and beer selection was extensive. Our food was delicious. The salad with the homemade onion dressing was so good I wish I could take some dressing to go. The seared tuna and noodle dish were also both a treat. The waitress and waiter could not have been any more friendly. We will be back.

Stephen always takes great care of us. Food is always on point. This place is amazing for any event. If you haven't tried this place it is a must. Every dish is so delicious took new family members here and it was a hit. Love love love this place.

Genius lounge is a hidden gem. This restaurant has an extensive drink menu that will definitely fit anyone’s choice of drink. The food is authentic, unique, and fun. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. If you’re looking for a fun time then I would head over to this marvelous place and grab a drink and have some food!

We absolutely love this place. The service is great; staff are friendly. The prices are good; the food is outstanding- Japanese Hawaiian fusion with generous servings. The restaurant has a great vibe. Outdoor available on both front and back veranda’s- really relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended! Thanks Stephen and staff- we shall return!!

Absolutely love this place!! My dad comes here anytime he is in Honolulu and recommends it to all his friends. The yuzu chicken is absolutely to die for and the carbonara noodles are unique and delicious! It is hard to go wrong with anything on the menu and the service is lovely

Everything was really good, but it was so hot inside, my shirt was drenched in sweat. I bought the Steak and Seafood special online, but the waitress didn't realize that and even when I told her what we wanted, she assumed we wanted something else. All in all it was an excellent meal.

We consider Genius Lounge quite a find! The service was great, the food was delicious and the menu varied and interesting. The rooftop dining was covered in case of rain and quiet. We'd definitely recommend it.

If you’re in Honolulu / Waikiki dinning at Genius Lounge is a MUST! I doubt you’ll find a place offering better food or value. Recommend the wonton pork nachos, yuzu chicken, sushi and four cheese w/honey.

We had a great experience dining here after my brother asked my future sister in law to marry him. We had 20 people + a baby, and they accommodated each of our family members. Great vibe, and we loved the ambience! Would come back here again. Mahalo!
