We are a small, independent restaurant and appreciate notification as soon as possible if your plans have changed. For larger parties of 6 to 8 we request 10 hours cancellation.
We are able to hold the table up to 15 minutes past your reserved time.

We have eaten at Genevieve's in the past. This most recent visit was for a 'prix fixe' New Year's Eve dinner.
The choices were varied enough for most palates. All options were creative and of those we ordered were delicious. I believe they will be closed for a month or two but check their website for their winter schedule.
One second time after we recommended to friends who agreed that it was worth the drive on a rainy New Year’s Eve, each dish was good with just the right portions. Glad to make early reservations as it was packed as expected.
We had heard so many great things about Genevieve’s. We decided to give it a try on New Year’s Eve. The 4 course dinner was superb! Our server delivered our meal at a slow and comfortable pace...never did we feel rushed or that they needed our table for the next guests.
It was a lovely evening and we will definitely be back in the spring!
The ambiance in the outdoor section is higher than that of the indoors. Our prefixed meal was phenomenal and very well priced.
Outstanding meal, for appetizers we shared the clams that are amazing, and we had a crab cake special dinner to share for the 4 of us as well. For dinner we had the Rib Eye steak, Gnocchi with venison meat balls, The Atlantic Char special and the burger of the day, which happened to be Bison. All were deliscious, the non-adventurous diner, had the burger... said it was the best in his life. Service is always on point. You will not be disappointed.
Excellent as usual. Chowder, flatbread, and chicken ossobucco all outstanding.
Food and service was great. I was surprised that the restaurant didn’t give the 1 piece of cake ordered for our anniversary for no charge. Most restaurants do give that at no charge due to the occasion. Also, the meals are expensive so there shouldn’t be any reason not to charge for the piece of cake.
This restaurant was delicious and quaint. We definitely be going back!

Had a wonderful meal at Genevieve's on Friday night. For appetizers we had the Sheep's Milk Ricotta, and the Littlenecks, they were both outstanding and large enough to share. For our main courses we had the catch of the day, which was roasted fluke that was a great preparation and delicious, and the Steak special. The steak was prepared perfectly and the the sauce was great. For desert we had the Key Lime pie that was light and refreshing. Service was great, and meal timing was at our pace. An amazing evening with a lot of love in the food.
Well worth it! Happy to have such a wonderful meal in our own seaside town.
This was our first time at Genevieve's and she knocked it out of the park. The food was outstanding along with the service. We loved how Genevieve personally served our entrees. Can't wait to go back!
Eaten here quite a few times, but this last was a bit disappointing. My salmon was under cooked and the Carrot cake was not to my liking, all nuts and no flavor. The service was slow, but very friendly.
We love Genevieve’s the food is delicious and creative without being pretentious. The service is excellent all with the personal touch from Genevieve. Personally think it is the best restaurant in Ocean county. Yes it is in Seaside Heights but worth the trip. We are hoping this restaurant is the catalyst for turning the boulevard into a mini Asbury.
Genevieve's was a nice find in Seaside. I loved the atmosphere and the ambiance. Small but quaint and tasty. We went during Restaurant week but cant wait to try the regular menu. We recommend.
The food & service was amazing. The chef/owner Genevieve personally brought many of our entrees right to our table.
Maybe it was because of restaurant week, but overall the food was average at best. Will try again when their full menu is back and hope I can change this to a 5 star review

Found on Jersey Shore Restaurant Week website. Menu was limited but delicious. Appetizers came quickly, entree took a long time. Asked for bread while we waited and was told "no bread" with the restaurant week menu. Payment and tipping done at the table on an electronic device with server present. As she pointed out my gratuity choices, she promised not to look. Very uncomfortable.
Finally tried Genevieve’s during fall restaurant week. Salad was huge with fresh ingredients, beef Bourguignon with polenta was delicious! Carrot cake for dessert was just average. Would definitely recommend and will be back. BYOB also a plus

We went for the first time because of Restaurant Week at the Jersey Shore.
I live in Seaside Park & now looking forward to going back soon with family & friends.

Quality, value meal for Shore restaurant week. Reservations are difficult, at times, but dinner was worth the compromise on time.

We went there for restaurant week at the shore. The Apple salad and mussels were excellent. The fennel sauce with the mussels was one of the best mussels dishes I have had. For our entree’s we had the chicken dish and beef dish, both dishes were superb. The polenta with the beef was delicious and I don’t usually enjoy polenta. The service and atmosphere was excellent. You can tell a lot of heart and creativity went into the cooking. We will be back.
Genevieve's was awesome! The atmosphere was cozy, food amazing, and great service. It gave the vibe of an intimate restaurant in the city, which was awesome to get so close to home.
Excellent food and service!! Loved the menu and service. I had chicken Oso Buco which was amazing so was the shrimp app! Truffle fries were fantastic. I really love this place. Chef Genevieve has her personal touch everywhere. It’s a special place. Rick
Genevieve’s is a local gem! I found the cuisine to be creative and diverse. A BYOB restaurant were we love to share the salads and appetizers. Their meatballs and calamari are a must. Love this place!
Over all great place. To expensive for every week. At this price point the servers should be more professional.
Food was very good, one slight mistake ordered the veal chop and fat was not rendered on side. First bite not so good but chop was cooked perfect temp and had good flavor,

Genevieve's has potential. All of the menu items ordered were tasty and appealing except for the special stuffed fluke which was bland. The server kindly removed that item from the bill without us asking and offered a free dessert so kudos for that effort which was most appreciated.
Most notably, there was a problem with smoke from the kitchen entering the dining area. Not sure if the exhaust fan wasn't working properly or if it's always like that. The smoke was noticeable and caused discomfort which detracted from the meal and the overall experience.

Delicious food in a lovely setting. Love that the menu is seasonal. Fall salad and pork chop with fennel butter was amazing! Food is fresh and servers are attentive but not intrusive. One of my favorite places!
This was our 3rd time and we brought another couple with us. The food and service were outstanding. We actually made reservations to come back during Restaurant Week while we were there.
The food was too salty. Fish does not need to be so complicated.
