   We were surprised when we arrived at the Geneva Chophouse as they had no record of our reservation. Fortunately, they weren’t overly busy and were able to seat us immediately. Our server was very nice. We ordered the Tomahawk steak. It took almost an hour for our meal to be served but the presentation was amazing! The steak was cooked perfectly. We were celebrating our 45th. wedding anniversary and the restaurant gifted us a glass of champagne each and a dessert to share.

   Ambience was nice, some may think a bit loud but we like a bustling feel. Service was slow and took almost 30 minutes to get our drink order. I had to ask our waiter if he’d forgotten about us. Filet was cooked as ordered, with good flavor albeit a little chewy. Mushrooms were good but the Yukon mashed and creamed corn were disappointing. Mashed was tasteless and dry and the corn was like a can of corn with some butter on it and the Parmesan was apparently left off. For the value it was overpriced. If you want to spend $300 for dinner for 2 this would not be the place I’d recommend. I caveat this review with the fact that we frequent Gipson’s and RPM Steak.

   The food was good, especially our date appetizer. The waiter was very engaging and good. Eating on the terrace was very nice as it was a beautiful night. Although we enjoyed ourselves, the meal was very costly and not worth the value. If you want a nice atmosphere and don't want to leave the grounds, give it a try so long as you're not concerned about the cost.

   Food was great and service was excellent. Server Brian was knowledgable and Caleb was attentive. Only drawback were the people in bath suits cutting across the porch seating wrapped in towels...definitely brought the ambiance of pork seating down.

   The best food I have had in a long time. Everything was amazing. Our waitress was outstanding! Would definitely recommend the Geneva Chophouse to friends.

   Prices have increased dramatically, sides are smaller. It used to be that you could get a high quality steak here for a decent discount compared to Chicago area places like Morton's. This is no longer the case, it is not worth the trip from the Chicago suburbs

   Unfortunately not the best experience. We sat and got straight to business. No explanation of the menu or if it was our first time (it was). We had a cheese board and server didn’t explain what we had- which is expected. 3 min later our salad arrived. My steak was cold, had to refire it. My second drink came after I was done with the meal. It was a birthday and nothing was said about it until I ordered dessert and spoke up about it.
