WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE! Our waitress Stephanie took amazing care of us. Along with Jordan and sommelier Shannon. Attention to detail was on point. Food price and portion, worth it. Working on the restaurant industry and finding a place amazing as this is hard. Excellent. In love and can’t wait to go back. Did not hesitate on spending my money! Ps. Not going back. Service was terrible. Waiter showed up 20 min after we were seated. Took our “water” order. 20 min later got our appetizer and sake order. Disappeared again so ordered sushi directly from the chefs. Came back 30 min later to say we needed to order if we wanted to be served because they turn over tables on a schedule. Food is fine but not for the price point. Shame. The place had potential. Decor was very cool and had a good vibe. If you are a Miami hipster or Instagram look at me girl that doesn’t care about service, then this place may be ok for you.

Gekko like many of the ownership's restaraunt is all about the hype and not about the food. The food portions are very, very small for the price. Their "A5 WAGYU from Japan" isn't all too flavorful. The bar does not offer Chardonnay by the glass, only by the bottle, which is absurd in my opinion. Our server Antonio left the check on the table without us even asking for the check making us feel very rushed. Further adding to the feeling of being pushed out of the door, we were told that we had to put the entire order in at once. Lastly, the valet is extremly unprofessional. They did not pull the car up to the valet station and instead just dropped the car off at the end of the line parked on an angle and very hard to back out of a very busy street. No customer service skills whatsoever!

Gekko was a overall good experience, Drinks were Super on point! The food was beyond amazing, EverythingI ordered was delicious from the 18oz ribeye, lobster fried rice, lobster dumplings, wagyu dumpIings, as I was celebrating my birthday, Our server Alex was cool. The only thing i can say is that my reservation was for 8:30pm and me and my family didn’t get sat down until about 9:15pm-9:20pm

This is a fun spot in Brickell that's definitely more about the scene than anything else. The food was good but I would say it's overpriced for what you get. Service was friendly but they will kick you out of your table after two hours. However, they do have a fun lounge next to the restaurant area where you can go hang out after you're done eating. My husband and I went during Miami Spice month (starts on August 1st until September 30th) but they did not offer us the Miami Spice menu, we had to ask for it.

Hosted was polite. Restaurant is beautifully decorated. Our server was super cool and made great recommendations. Food was pricey but absolutely delicious. My only complaint was that the spaces in between the tables were REALLY tight! You could literally hear every word from the tables on either side of you.

Valet parked our car, although nearby parkings are a good option if you plan to visit bars afterwards. Service was sharp timely i.e. table rotation.. Took the chef’s choice sushi which was delicious. Great ambience, familiar environment at the time we arrived 8pm. Thank you
