Delicious as usual and our waiter was fantastic .
We've had her before. Very enjoyable
Great place for a romantic dinner! This has become a tradition for my wife and I to eat here when we visit Chicago.
My boyfriend and I went for the first time for a date night and it did not disappoint! All the servers were excellent! Try the sangria, we got a carafe of the white sangria to share. We were a bit skeptical about the portion sizes since we both have big appetites but we both left stuffed. We will definitely be regular patrons of Gejas!
My brother and his wife Anniversary
My family has included Geja’s in our trips to Chicago since my childhood. It hasn’t changed, which is a GREAT thing. The food is fantastic, the environment romantic, the servers are knowledgeable, and the experience can’t be beat.
If you want something different this place is it I will definitely go back its romantic the feel and vibe is so relaxed it was amazing my husband loved it
Very nice place for a date night. The portion was very big, we were so full.
Thank you Geja’s for our wonderful seating to celebrate our special occasion. Our seating made the whole evening even better! Our food was delicious and the service impeccable. We’ll be back again soon. Thank you for a wonderful evening
Good food and fun, just a little dark and hard to see if your food is cooked.
Very attentive polite, professional service . Highest quality meats , delicious taste of cheese and chocolate . My only suggestion would be to have options on chocolate and cheese .
I’ve been going here for years and every visit has been amazing! From the ambiance to the food and drinks....this place is a forever Chicago gem!
A fun, unique dining experience. Great atmosphere. Great service. A little bit overpriced for what you get, but still had a great time.
We had high expectations because of the reviews and the price. Our favorite part was the chocolate fondue. If we come back, that’s all we’ll have. The chicken made me really sick. They said 4 min; I left it in the oil for 5. The portions were fine but I think it was a little overpriced.
We were seated in the corner with very little space for movement. We asked to be moved they said no. Two minutes later, the couple next to us asked to be moved and they were moved. We weren’t very happy about that.
My favorite restaurant because of the amazing atmosphere, fabulous service and delicious food! Have been going for 28 years will keep going!
Favorite place ever
Took my wife for our first year anniversay and it was an amazing experience. I didn't expect to be filled but after 4 courses I was stuffed and ready for bed.
Overall, Geja’s was a great experience! The food was delicious and definitely worth the value. Service was top notch. The only negative would be that it was really cramped in there and warm. It felt like we were on top of another table almost.
Excellent experience. Food and drinks were well worth it. Can’t wait to go back
Always amazing... Highly recommend this place for any occasion!
Geja’s Café was a fun experience. The food was good, but didn’t live up to the price tag. Cool place to experience but probably won’t be putting it on the short list.
Always a lovely experience each time we go.
I brought my fiancé to Geja's for his birthday dinner, and we both loved it! The food and the service was incredible, and it is so romantic!!
Amazing service, it was a great experience. Wish they give you an option to have a chef cook your food but me and my date loved it. Definitely going back soon.
Disappointed, dinner service is planned to be 2 hours, we did not plan for that so we felt rushed as we only had 1 hour and 45 minutes to get through everything. No one was in a rush to get to our table. We felt like we were thrown in a corner and forgotten about. Which is sad because we made our reservations 3 weeks in advance and we’re excited to try this place as friends recommended it. Had to cut our meal short and skip dessert to get to a show on time. They said they’d credit us but didn’t.
Everything from the food, service and environment was great except the noise level. We were expecting a more quiet and romantic atmosphere, but found the crowd to be rather loud and noisy. I understand this is a restaurant, but being labeled as one of the most romantic places in Chicago to dine needs to have some limitations on the level.
Good date spot! Needs more proteins
Waiter was rude!
...place is groupon friendly but seem to be frowned upon when used!
As always: Awesome!
Great experience, quite fun.table not is best location as very close to other people apart from that great night, Fondue was tasty and explained very well, drinks were reasonable and selection great , will definitely return
It's a place you would go only once, the amount of food we got for two entries for the price we paid was not worth it. our table was not comfortable, very small and right next to the serving area.
My husband and I were celebrating his birthday and I have to say we were quite impressed overall. This restaurant was referred to us by a friend and I’m so glad we came!! We were full and enjoyed one another’s company in the intimate setting. Look forward to coming back in the future
The hostess has a problem not friendly at all
Romantic atmosphere but the price point and the smell of food cooking in the dining area just doesn’t work for me.
Went for a delayed Valentine’s Day celebration. The food was wonderful and the service was impeccable. The Flamenco guitar player set a relaxed, romantic mood while we enjoyed our three fondue courses.
The ambiance was very romantic. The staff were courteous. The appetizers were amazing and the cheese was unforgettable. The main course was ok. The sauces were pretty good. The dessert was awesome. Overall a wonderful experience. A little pricy though. A couple should plan to spend between $150 and $175.
Have been going to Geja’s for decades and had to introduce my college age son to the experience. Had a great time but while it was FREEZING outside it was uncomfortably warm in the restaurant (and I am generally cold). I took off my sweater to my plain top underneath, but my son had no choice than to BAKE. Otherwise a nice night and yummy food!
Went for Valentines weekend. Ambiance very romantic & they honored my request for a booth. Server seemed little grumpy but it was busy....Would recommend for date! Food was good & enjoyable!
Defiently an experience. Pretty pricey for the amount and quality of food given. Was never asked if we would like to take home left-overs but noticed other tables had wrapped up boxes. Overall great returnant, but for raw food cooked in nothing but oil, with NO seasoning, the prices were a little high.
Great service and atmosphere! Fondue was great but I just wish the seat was seasoned or marinated.
